I am a girl and I felt very comfortable doing my hair, I felt welcoming. Adam did my haircut and he was amazing, no fuss and knew what to do, £12 for hair cut and I think was the best haircut I ever had! As a girl with short hair I struggle to find a hairdresser that doesn't a good buzzcut, plus overpriced, the last hairdresser charged me over £60 for an ok cut.

Just what the neighbourhood has been crying out for! They do everything from a good cut to a full hot towel shave; a full men's grooming service. They are a family business, and clearly care passionately about providing a five-star service - nothing is too much trouble for them. Oh - and the prices are very reasonable. They're polite, professional, and do a superb job attending to every detail. Good luck guys!

Visited our new local barbers for the first time today with my son. The one that he usually uses always has huge queues/long waiting times, and they never seem that bothered about trying to reduce those waiting times!! Gents of Town was a breath of fresh air. Visited at 9am on a Saturday morning; when my son was seated, Yemi just got cracking on his hair straight away. My 9yr old was concerned that 'they might not know how to cut his mixed race hair', but Yemi did what the other barbers NEVER does (even though they should!!) and actually combed and blew his hair out first. My son's hair looks great. Yemi had a good rapport with my son, along with a gentle manner and a bit of banter - no gimmicks needed to distract or entertain when the barber is doing their job well. We have found our new favourite barber!
