Remarkable experience. So much more than just a barbers. The luxury theme is mesmerizing, only to be topped with the combination of the comfort and coziness of your own home. Superb hospitality, great haircut! Will definitely return and recommend. Lets not even talk about the coffee. Costa who?

Top notch haircut and espresso. Nice ambiance to the place. Short walk from the Aquatics Centre - perfect way to use the time between races if you are a “swim dad”. Wish I lived nearby: would make this my regular barber.

Came in with a “I’m sorry for the state of my hair and beard”. After 45 minutes, reborn. Ruken went through more actions and dazzling techniques than I thought were possible - there were two hot towel moments, a hand massage, some fire, and too many other things. There was a 50% tip option called “best ever” I did not regret smashing at the end.

I was looking for a place to have a good haircut in London for a long time. I went there randomly since I moved into the area very recently. When I walked in, Esme made me feel great from the first moment! An amazing smile with a lot of positive energy! The perfect combination for top customer service experience!! She offered me also a complimentary tea! Then the barber (Adam) gave me one of the best haircuts which I had the last 4 years probably!!! When I left the place, I went back to ask their names so I could write a review!!! Great people, great place, great haircut!!!

I took my nephew for a cut here and was impressed by just how professional and friendly the team are. The barbers itself has a stunning décor so it was an enjoyable wait for me. I enjoyed one of the best coffees I've ever had whilst my nephew had his trim. The only downside is that they don't do female hair! Otherwise this would potentially be my new salon. I will however be returning simply to pick up a coffee to go. Highly recommend!!

An idyllic place on the High Street.. The best barbershop in Stratford by a mile! Went a couple of times so far and got an excellent haircut on both occasions, with attention to detail and skill. First class service from beginning to end, a very chilled atmosphere and great vibes from every single member of staff. Got the pleasure of experiencing a facial treatment too, which felt absolutely relaxing and calming. Skin is left soft and hydrated. Each time I walked away feeling completely blissed out. Book into 'Gezellig' or walk-in on the day, get a superb haircut and indulge in a beautiful face mask to brighten your skin. Definitely go for the full pampering experience.. Don't miss out!

I don't really leave reviews often, but had the best haircut I can remember over here. Haircut was comfortable, the barber (Adam) was really friendly and gave me a really really good haircut. I was putting off getting a haircut for weeks, but I'm really glad I walked in to this place today out of all the other hair salons in the area!

I've been here a couple of times and think this might be the best barbers in the area. The barbers are professional and efficient while providing a high quality hair cut. Both haircuts I've had were really good skin fades. Atmosphere is chilled out and the decoration is nice and clean. Hope to come back here soon!

This area has been crying out for a great barbers for a long time. Great service! Accomodating even when I had to step out and come back later. No TV screens blurting out naff music videos which is always a plus. Great shave too! Will be returning for all furture barber needs :)

I really enjoyed my experience at this barber. The atmosphere is very calm and chilled out with nice decor and waiting area which is very important to me when I go to the barber. The cut itself was professional and the barber did a good job. They also offered complementary drink and cake! Will be returning.

A long awaited haircut and I wasn’t disappointed. Such a great service. A lovely welcome with a complimentary tea. The waiting area is really comfy and I didn’t have to wait too long to be seen. Adam was really attentive and I didn’t feel rushed at all. This is the second time I have been to Gezellig and it is a welcomed addition to the area. A well-deserved 5 stars

Dropped off my son for haircut. He returned looking fresh, crisp and clean. Impressive fade and cut by evidently skilled barbers! Took advantage of the opening offer of 50% off service. I would, however, like to continue paying £10 for a child’s haircut. Hope the owners can make that happen, so we can continue using this fantastic new place!

There are barber joints that cut hair, make you wait in uncomfortable surroundings while delivering mediocre customer service and then there's Gezellig!!! An absolute gem of a place where having just visited for the first time will definitely not be my last. Everything from the decor, customer service, professionalism, music, the temptations in the form of desserts and coffee as you enter and the authentic energy and conversations being had with the staff were excellent!! Let me not forget the most important thing... My haircut. John’s steller efforts in making sure I was comfortable, taking the time to actually understand what style I wanted and delivering it to such high standards was greatly appreciated! This place hits differently, the barbers have serious skill. I didn’t try the coffee but if the quality of staff and atmosphere is anything to go by the coffee must also bang... The boss lady has a unique skill when it comes to face masks, I would recommend trying it, it’s definitely something different.
