I’ve been going to Karolina for 4 years now. When I first saw her my hair was box dyed the darkest brown and she’s now got me to the lightest blonde. I’ve followed Karolina from another hair salon to Gielly Green because she is incredible and the best hair colourist/ hair queen. She is SO friendly, makes sure you’re constantly looked after but also just incredible at her art - colouring hair. I would trust no one else in getting my hair wedding ready. 100% recommend her every time. I was pleasantly surprised how lovely the salon was too, modern and clean and everyone was super friendly. I’ve also never had my hair washed in a comfier basin! I love the products/colours used from here and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I met Jordan for the first time too and he did my hair cut/ styling. Again super friendly, genuinely making an effort to make me feel comfortable and giving suggestions of how to make my hair look better. Really happy with the cut too - thank you!!

This was my first visit to Gielly Green - the salon itself is super cute and aesthetically pleasing. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I had my hair styled by Simone - i can get quite nervous about having my hair cut but he was super patient and friendly which helped to chill me out. I had shown Simone some pictures of styles i liked and he absolutely killed it. The result was inspired by the pictures but way more tailored to me. That is what really stands out from my previous salon experiences - he actually listened to what i wanted, how i style my hair and adapted the style perfectly, which is such a talent.

It can be difficult to find a really-good hairdresser in London and almost impossible to get a good layered haircut. First time at Gielly Green and I couldn't be any happier. Simone gave me a fantastic layered haircut and managed to correct my previous bad haircut. I loved his suggestions and the result is simply stunning. Simone gave also my husband a pretty cool haircut. We are both so happy to see that, shampoo after shampoo, our haircuts keep a pretty good form effortlessly. Great Salon! Had a root tint and I am very happy with the colour (maria did the colouring, very professional and would highly recommend). Simone did my hair cut and blow dry and again would highly recommend him, my cut really suits my face and hair type and the blow dry was very good, ready for the party I have later.

What a beautiful place to pamper yourself and feel million dollars! My daughter booked hair treatment and blow dry for me for my wedding after party! Simone is the BEST. NY’er in London who is very particular about who cuts my hair. I have very very curly hair that required extra TLC for the perfect cut. Simone spent so much time explaining how my hair should be cut and was very detail oriented to get the perfect shape for my hair when curly and straight. I've been coming to Maia for ages and she's incredible, I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair! When I first came to see her I had over processed bleached hair with so much breakage and damage. Over the years she's made my hair in the best condition it's ever been in, without losing any of the length or colour (I still bleach it every 8 weeks and it is nearly at the bottom of my back). Couldn't recommend highly enough, she listens so well to what your hair goals are and gives such good recommendations for post-salon care as well as making hair look and feel great!

Devin is by far the most talented hair colourist I’ve ever come across! She will give you exactly what you ask for and the result will be better than you expected every time. She is professional and attentive throughout. There was a miss communication with prices but she handled it with elegance and class. I cannot recommend her enough. Sadly my blow dry was not a big blow out but a flat pancake with no shape what so ever. All the other ladies blow dry looked amazing so not sure if that’s because my hair had too much conditioner put on or the new colour was weighing it down. Overall this salon is fantastic! All the staff are well presented, competent, and the whole experience from start to finish is a slick operation. Worth every penny, looking forward to my next visit!

I cannot recommend Karolina for colour and Simone for cuts highly enough! They're both dedicated artists who exemplify the top of their craft. I followed Karolina to the salon and she was rocking her talent as always. Karolina does incredible natural colour with fine baby highlights that grows in beautifully. She introduced me to Simone for my cut and he lived up to her skill in colours, but in his cut. He took time to talk to me about my hair routine and give me a fresh look that fit me. Best of all he cut and styled it naturally, ensuring the cut was clean and it was a styling I could do easily. I have Afro hair so I’m very picky with the salons I go to because of my my extremely thick hair texture. I had a blow dry with Simone and my hair has never looked more soft, smooth and shiny. It actually stayed flat straight for a week until I washed it. If your hair is difficult to manage Simone is the one for you! I will absolutely go back for more blowdries one of the best salons in London. So professional and such an aesthetically pleasing place which is a bonus.

I had a really lovely experience at Gielly Green George Street yesterday. From the moment I walked into the salon, everyone was lovely! I don’t know the gentleman’s name at the door but he was so welcoming and friendly and offered me a drink while I waited. Then I met Simone for my hair consultation and he put me immediately at ease, he is very talented and artistic and listened and decided with me what to do with my long straight, all one length hair. It look exactly like the picture that I showed her and she seem very knowledgeable about hair care. I tried Gielly Green Boutique for the first time the other week and had the best experience I have ever had at a hairdressers in London so far. I booked in with a Senior Stylist named Simone. Right from the start he was very professional, warm and very attentive. It had been a while since I got to have my hair cut but it was very evident that the last hairdresser who I saw at a different top salon had basically cut my hair dead straight with no layers or styling whatsoever and that person was meant to be a top level technician! The reason I chose a senior stylist was because I wanted them to give me advice on what style would suit me and Simone really went above and beyond. He took his time to listen to what I wanted, how I style my own hair and what products/tools I use. He explained exactly what he was going to do to give my hair volume, layers and texture and the end result matched exactly that! Such a lovely team all round. If you're on the fence of where to go and who to book in with like I was - I'd definitely give this place a go. Thanks Simone - you're a gem!

Fantastic experience with Alex, cannot recommend him highly enough. I have short, thick hair with a wave in it. I’ve always thought I had limited options to style it but Alex showed me the absolute reverse is true. Alex got me excited about my hair and changing it to fit different occasions. Absolutely love going to Gielly Green! I have naturally curly and frizzy hair. This is the first salon since moving from Auz where I have found professionals who know how to cut my hair. Steve is amazing! Is an artist and has been able to cut my hair in a way that grows and maintains its style, curl, and volume without compromising and making my curls frizzy. She is so passionate about her art, has so much technical knowledge and makes you feel instantly comfortable and at ease. FINALLY a London salon that knows how to do colour! I lived in Paris for almost 10 years and have never been able to find a place in London that could re-create the subtle balayage look that originally comes from Paris. As a result, I have been travelling over to Paris twice a year to get my hair coloured, which isn't massively cost effective as a strategy! I chose this location because of the positive reviews about colour and what previous reviewers had to say about Karolina specifically. I can honestly say I don't think any hair colourist has ever spent so much time and effort listening to what I was trying to achieve and she meticulously applied the colour to create the right effect. In addition, Karolina is incredibly sweet and friendly - she really puts you at ease, safe in the knowledge that you are being listened to and that you are in the hands of a professional with a lot of experience who knows what she is doing. I have visited the salon a few times now for the cold infusion great lengths hair extensions and cut with both Lauren and Skye. I am so pleased with the quality of the hair and the excellent professional service Lauren and Skye provide. They are attentive to bespoke client needs, approachable and experts at their work. Lauren is friendly, efficient and very detailed with the application process for the hair extensions. Skye is also super friendly and the best in the trade for blow drys and cuts! I woudnt go anywhere else given the quality and comfort of being around true professionals. It’s always a lovely experience visiting the salon.

He takes time to explain the process and what he has in mind - in my case an innovative technique to lighten hair without bleach/damaging it. I had an appointment booked but the hairdresser I had booked with was unavailable on the day. Gielly Green rang me and promptly assigned Alex to cut my hair. As soon as I arrived, I was seen straightaway. Alex gave me the best haircut I have ever had. He blow-dried my hair straight and carried on cutting to perfection once my hair was dry. I've found in the past that a lot of hairdressers cut my hair, curl it and it looks great until you wash it and realise the haircut is not great at all. Alex then curled my hair afterwards and I've never seen my hair looks so shiny and healthy. I will 100% go back to have my haircut with Alex. He listens to what you want and makes sure you are happy with the service before you leave. I had the best haircut I’ve ever had a few weeks ago here by Simone. I was super happy with the result initially but wanted to wait before posting a review just to see how it settles in and it’s perfect. Simone is very professional, friendly and spent two hours meticulously cutting every piece of hair on my head. He gave me a lovely layered haircut. I have long straight rather fine hair but lots of it so it can get heavy and be a bit tricky to cut. While I had previously asked other hair stylists in expensive salons in the area to cut my hair in layers, I was always disappointed as the final result looked more like a single layer with a slightly shorter piece in the front. Simone’s version (an actual layered haircut rather than a disappointing attempt at it) was so flattering on me and has the added bonus of my other half continuously telling me how great it looks. Highly recommend the salon as well, everyone was friendly and lovely, and Simone for a perfect haircut.

OH MY GOODNESS - Where do I even begin?! I've never in all my life had such an incredible expierence at a hair salon. From start to finish, the entire process exceeded all of my wildest dreams. I was lucky enough to book in with Darijo, and right from our very first conversation, I knew I was in the BEST hands! I walked in with big ambitions, wanting to transform my virgin (extremly thick and dark) brunette hair to a beachy blonde in just one day. Because I have SO much hair, I knew that this was an enormous task, but what I didn't anticipate, was just how much of a truly enjoyable process it would be. Darijos passion for hair shone through the entire day. His energy and incredible talent to transform hair was so inspiring to be around, that despite being a nine hour process (I told you I have a lot of hair) time just flew by. I was so well looked after by all the staff there, with other stylists also coming over at different parts of the day all equally as excited as myself to see the end results.. And my lord did the end result take my breath away. I'm writing this 24 hours later and I'm still in shock and awe at Darijos work. I've never seen such a beautiful head of blonde hair... and it's somehow on my shoulders?! I feel so lucky to have been able to have sat in the presence of such talented and kind artists, and I can not wait to be able to be back in the salon again... I mean, there's no possible way I'd ever go anywhere else again. You have to experience it for yourself, they're too good not to share. Book, book, book! I felt safe and relaxed when I walked into the salon during this corona virus pandemic, all the staff were wearing PPE and there was hand sanitizing throughout the salon, even the water was in bottles & coffee and tea were given in paper cups as to ensure people were not using the same mugs/glasses! The lovely Lauren was my colourist, we had spoken before in a consultation about what I wanted to do to my hair and decided to go from blonde to a bright pastel purple! The end result from blonde to purple was incredible and it was a treat to have such an experienced, friendly colourist work/chat with me in the loveliest salon about how we could get to the exact colour I wanted. I will not get my hair cut anywhere else. Michele is absolutely brilliant to work with, he has great ideas and his skill is outstanding. He also is the best colourist I have ever used. I am blown away at his ability to get the exact colour that is right for me. I have very wavy, thick corse hair and I had a hard time finding someone who could cut my hair properly before I met Michele. I always say to Michele - do whatever you think will look best and every cut has been fantastic, I trust him completely.. The Salon is also a treat to go to. I love the design of the salon especially and the lighting is great. The waiting area is very lovely and the staff are always thoughtful and are there to help with anything you need. Even though it can be very busy there, I always feel relaxed and the way they have set up the chairs there is still an intimacy to the salon. I have been in so many salons where there is bad music blaring out of speakers, you cannot hear what your stylist is saying as there is so much chatter and noise around. Not at Gielly Green. Gielly Green is a sanctuary and has somehow created what I can only call a very magical space where I feel relaxed and calm. Also, I would like to point out that the Gielly Green hand soap and hand cream are divine. I love the smell of them and always make sure I use the hand cream before I leave. Having had long hair all the way down my back 2 weeks before, my usual hair dresser did not have the courage to give me the edgy short look I wanted and cut it into a very sad looking bob. Cue Matt, to the rescue! My first impression entering the salon was a bunch of highly energized stylists creating a positive buzz. Matt was delighted to totally reinvent my look and taking one look at my sample photo (Scarlett Johansson's short crop), he knew exactly what to do! Matt really embraced transforming my shoulder length bob to a fresher, shorter style. He spent 2 hours on layering and shaping my hair, with the utmost care and attention. It looked so good, I instinctively gave him a big hug - never hugged any other hair dresser before that! Roxie was amazing at matching my previous colour and brightening my hair up, with Matt completing the look with a totally fabulous blow dry. Matt is simply the best hairdresser to ever cut my hair. I live in Germany and hope to be back in London soon to visit Gielly Green again. I cannot recommend this hair salon enough, they even have their own branded hair products. Michele Antiga is a brilliant colourist and stylist. I've been a client of Michele's for years and he is the first person I've trusted completely with the style and colour because he has always listened to what I want, advised what will and won't work and given great alternative suggestions, and the results have been amazing every time. Michele cuts with the direction my hair grows meaning the style stays as my hair grows. And he never rushes a haircut, he will keep snipping away until he is satisfied. I have never been disappointed and I regularly get compliments on the cut and colour, I've even had a couple from total strangers!
