I've been changing barbers too often - over the past year I must have tried 10+ different places across all price ranges. I just got my hair done by Crispian and I think I have finally found what I was looking for! Couldn't have asked for better, he read my mind and got me exactly what I was after...finally someone that doesn't need a buzz cutter and can use scissors like a top barber!

I think every woman is looking for their 'forever hairdresser'. That one person that without you even having to say, knows just what's right for you. Today, I found that in Crispian at Giovannis. I have never, ever, in 48 years had a better colour, a better cut and my blow dry blew me away (pardon the pun!). Simply outstanding. Crispian listened and just knew what I wanted. Women want to leave a salon feeling amazing and I had that today. That is so very rare in London. When I find something I love, I tend to keep quiet about it because its 'mine', but honestly this gem of a salon goes above and beyond and people need to know about it. I simply had the best experience and will absolutely be back to my 'forever hairdresser'. Thankyou so much Crispian x

I've been to a lot of hairdressers around North London over the years and found Giovanni's a couple of years ago.Not looked back John & Crispin are great cutters & colourists. Love visiting this salon so family oriented,keeps up with new styles and plays some great music. Always always have my hair blow-dry at Giovannis and it lasts not like some hair salons where it drops out almost immediately on leaving . Long may it stay an established business in upper street .cheers

I have been fortunate enough to have been going to Giovanni since my early teens and am now in my 50's. I have always enjoyed my experience at the salon and always had a fantastic haircut which was often admired by people who asked who styled my hair. Unfortunately this year I was diagnosed with breast cancer and I have lost my hair through chemo. I have given a fabulous wig by Barts in a colour and style very similar to how my hair was but I felt it was missing John's professional touch. John has personalised and carefully cut my wig just as he did my own hair. He did it with such sensitivity and care he has given me back my confidence. I left the salon with my head held high without hiding under a hat and I felt really good for the first time in many weeks. John said I could go back anytime if I wanted anything else done and in a few weeks I am planning a trim just for a further change. Should you be in my position don't walk around being unhappy with your wig go to John who will reinvent your wig and you! Thank you John your a complete ⭐️.

Absolutely wonderful hairdresser- John and his team have looked after three generations of my family- my mother, myself and now my kids. John even did my hair for my wedding. Fantastic service and very family friendly- it was no problem to bring my baby with me to have my highlights done. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

What a great experience! Crispian really understands how to make hair look great. I really appreciated that he took the time to speak to me and understand what type of haircut I wanted. Crispian at Giovanni's is the god of fabulous hair! He has been my hairdresser for years and has never failed to give me an amazingly sexy and manageable hair cut. I ALWAYS come out of the salon feeling like a million dollars. Have tried other salons in the past but they have failed miserably....only for me to run back to Crispian for a magical fix and cure. Another thing I love is the utter 100% personal touch..with 100% attention and focus on you and lots of giggles and chats. Thank you Crispian :-)

I've been coming here for years. It's a family business with a really lovely, relaxed vibe but most importantly they are great hairdressers. I've got lots of blonde hair (normally shoved up in a bun on top of my head when I arrive) and they do a beautiful, natural colour and always spend lots of time on the blow dry. Highly recommended!
