I went to glasshouse salon and was not 100% happy with the result, they listened to my feedback and were super kind and professional. Immediately asked if I could come back the next day to rectify the colour which they did and it now looks AMAZING!!! I highly recommend the place and will for sure be back! Ask for Thalia she's experienced, sorted me out quickly and understood exactly what I was looking for and she's the sweetest :)

Wonderful organic and natural products. I recently bought some Kure nail polish and some charcoal masks & toothbrushes. They were delivered really quickly and the products are amazing.

I have been a happy Glasshouse client for a few years now and recently returned a couple of times this year when they moved to their beautiful new salon. Staff are always exceptionally welcoming, my hair always feels great with the products they use, the tea and coffee menu is a lovely treat and hairstyles are always on trend. However, and as I notice another reviewer has also commented, a potential dealbreaker for me now is how uncomfortable both the chairs and the wash basins are. I have long blonde hair which takes a few hours to balyage and requires a fair amount of sitting. In the previous salon I was so comfortable I could fall asleep in either the chair or at the wash basin. Unfortunately the chairs are very hard on the back and the wash basin causes terrible pain in my neck which brings on a headache. The staff are always so kind to let me move my head around, but it's really making me question going back. I mentioned this to the lady washing my hair but I'm not sure if the feedback would get passed on. I would urge the owners to reconsider their furniture :) Getting my hair done is not just about having nice hair, but also a bit of me time, a pamper experience... and for the amount of money it costs - comfort vs pain becomes a factor.

With Lachlan's balayage and Dylan's blow-dry, I had a fabulous hair day. The hair colour that Lachlan gave me was exactly what I wanted. My hair is very dark, almost black, and he was able to lift my colour without damaging it, added just the right amount of warmth, and blended the colour beautifully. My rather frizzy and difficult hair was blown dried by Dylan, who took the time to make sure it was smooth and voluminous. Glasshouse will certainly be my go-to place to maintain my colour.

I had a really great experience at the Glasshouse Salon and would definitely recommend this place. I was quite nervous about getting my hair done as I had a bad experience in the past when getting a balayage done at another salon years ago, not only was the colour awful but my hair was so badly damaged that I did not ever want to change the colour again. After years of growing out the colour and damage, I decided to get my hair done again and I choose the salon because I loved their natural approach, not only do they use products that are better for your hair but they are also better for the environment which is amazing. Abbey did an amazing job at the balayage and was very tentative about my concerns and what I wanted the end result to look like and did not let me down, I love the colour! Jess also did an amazing blowdry on my hair and was great to talk to; the end result was amazing. My hair does not feel damaged at all, considering my hair was very dark and I ended up with a light brown/blonde colour is amazing. I would definitely recommend this place not only because of the products but Abbey is very skilled at colouring and just the atmosphere and the people were great. Thanks very much Abbey and Jess.

This is a beautiful salon with very talented stylists and lovely products, however I found the chairs so incredibly uncomfortable and hard to relax in that it really tainted the experience. I don't think I will be returning (unless they change the chairs!).

It took a bit of trial and error to find the right salon in London, but Glasshouse is ahead of the pack. Talia has transformed my colour and style, and I’ve never liked my hair more. Sustainable products and thoughtful touches to the service are the icing on the cake.

Love glasshouse! They saved my hair when another salon in Dalston destroyed it. Condition is getting much better and the staff know their stuff. Mel is amazing and super friendly without being over bearing. Getting into organic hair products too now which has been a good learning experience!! Not cheap but the quality of the experience and how my hair looks/ feels it’s totally worth it. The receptionist is also really lovely!

I switched to Glasshouse Salon as I'd been getting increasingly concerned about the impact of standard industry hair dyes long term on my hair and had researched salons with a consistently and genuinely organic policy. Also my hairdresser before starting hinting I should have my crowning glory cut short now I was a bit older, as well as put in blond highlights I stopped having when I was about 25 (back in the day). I mean, really - it's my hair and I love it long and Rachel Weisz-ish brunette! While Glasshouse is a bit further now to travel, it's an exciting part of London near Broadway Market, with no shortage of fun places to go before and afterward a visit. Melissa is an exceptional hairdresser, always very pleasant and professional, and all the staff are unfailingly polite and good natured. It's very relaxing place. No-one is rushing and the ambience is way way better than the vast majority of other women's salons in London. I would be hard pressed to go anywhere else. There are interesting quirky magazine to read if you want and a good menu of teas. The condition of my hair is so much better than before, and always Melissa understands so easily exactly what I need. Which is quality, quality, quality, easy to care for and elegant. The products Glasshouse sells are brilliant too, also available speedily via online purchase. A long way since the days of being a Vidal Sassoon occasional model as a teenager and giving a number of my teachers something new and Bowiesque to tut about! Glasshouse is truly first class in my book.

Amazing organic hair salon. After 3 years of boxed dye turned my hair nearly black and ruined its condition Matt and Lucy have taken my hair back to how it looked in my teenage years, shiny, healthy looking sun kissed hair, you would never guess my hair is coloured it looks so natural! Also the Power Build Organic range of shampoos and treatments are great for getting strong hair again if you blowdry too much!! Really cannot recommend this salon enough!

Talia is literally my lifesaver - I’m so grateful to her! I had bad highlights done elsewhere and was really upset so I rang glasshouse and got a same day consultation and was booked in for 2 days later with the lovely talia who took the time to listen and discussed exactly what she was going to do to fix my hair. She took it so seriously and made it how I originally wanted it in the first place! Such a bonus that it's all so environmentally friendly. Really happy thank you so much xx

I always feel great when I leave with my colour and cut, and quite often a few makeup or skincare products too!

Best haircut I've had! I usually struggle to explain to a stylist the kind of haircut I want, but at Glasshouse they take the time to understand exactly what I want. I'm always really happy with the cut and find the shape grows out nicely so it lasts longer than my usual barbers cuts (I love this because it saves me money!). Thanks Glasshouse, thanks Olivia. I've been going to Glasshouse since it opened a few years ago. Olivia and her team do an excellent job - whether you're after something really trendy or already have a signature look, I've never been disappointed. Olivia is especially good for blondes. All the products are organic/non-damaging to hair, and in the beginning I was skeptical that they would really work but my hair has never looked healthier. Highly recommended!

I would highly recommend Glasshouse Salon! After doing months of travel and recovering from a perm that had gone wrong . I seriously thought my hair was beyond repair.Olivia and the staff at Glasshouse Salon were wonderful to deal with. Olivia used organic treatments to repair the years of abuse I had inflicted on my hair. I was very happy with my hair cut and colour, not to mention the incredible head massage I received . I also really liked how her main focus and emphasis was on the long term condition of my hair. I purchased 'Powerbuild ' which has been incredible with repairing and strengthening my hair. I highly recommend Glasshouse Salon to everyone . If you knew me personally you would realise I would not say this a lot, but Glasshouse is well worth a visit.

Really lovely experience. The products are brilliant, smell delicious and to top it all off are vegan! Yey! The team there are awesome too. The only downside was the price. I paid £165 for a colour (a very small T-section with some colour dragged through the ends) and a trim. It seemed pretty astronomical for such a small amount of foils, with the cut coming in at reasonable £48. I would come back again (the team made the experience) but only once my bank balance has recovered from the sting!
