Love this salon and all the staff. I have A LOT of hair and they are always excited to take on the challenge, when I've been turned away from hairdressers before they make it such a pleasant experience. They really listen to what I want and offer great consultancy and advice, and even more importantly a fabulous cut and colour.

First time having my hair coloured professionally as well as cut in a really long time. Rosella was super professional, friendly and made me feel at ease - as someone with super dry damaged hair I didn’t even recognise it after she was done, I was so happy and it looks/feels so much healthier. Booked in for a haircut and saw Jasmine. She is young, though very experienced. She took the time to listen to what I wanted, and really looked at my hair before she washed it. She even put consideration into what shampoo and conditioner to use on me - I've never seen that before! I'm very happy with the first haircut I've had in many months (due to lockdowns). I walked into this salon with long, thick, damaged, brittle, flakey hair and left with an absolutely beautiful, stylish and modern haircut that I adore. It's intimidating going to a new salon and after having some negative experiences, I was anxious to get a cut for the first time in a very long time. Janet was very professional, kind and helped me choose a style that would work for me, and eased me into the "big chop" (6-7 inches being removed, as per my request). She cut and styled my hair so well that it was unrecognizable from the long, damaged mess I walked in with. I left with a very cute, wavy, bouncy shoulder-bob with so much weight removed! I'll definitely be going back, all staff were extremely accomodating and kind, I recommend this salon 100 times over!

Jasmine did my haircut, colour correction (yes, yet another lockdown bleaching disaster here) and took my patchy bleached yellowy blonde hair to a beautiful pastel lavender with natural looking shadow root. With everything she did you could tell she was putting her all into it - from washing my hair, to caring for it by putting in masks and bond protection, to making sure I was 100% happy with how much length was coming off my hair. She even gave me some semi perm hair colour to maintain my colour at home! ♡ The amount of services I had in one day should have taken absolutely ages - but not only did it take less time than I thought it would, but Jasmine was so lovely that the time seemed to fly by! Genuinely my best experience at the hairdresser ever, left feeling like I was looking forward to my next session! Can't wait to go back soon - would definitely recommend Jasmine, and the manager was lovely too.

I wanted a balayage for a long time but I previously used henna on my hair so I was a bit worried that it will turn out green. After a consultation with Jasmine I decided to go for it and it turned out gorgeous. Jasmine is amazing and done an incredible job, managed to sort out the henna issue and the balayage turned out just how I wanted. I also got a beautiful trim which gave my hair more volume. I can't recommend Jasmine enough, best hairdresser I ever had and this is my first time at the Hair Bar. She is very professional, passionate and genuinely wants to do a great job. I hadn’t had a haircut since before Christmas, that meant 9 months and my hair was in a state. The staff at Hair Bar London were so lovely and the space was clean and stylish. As it had been so long since my last haircut, I knew I needed quite a bit taken off, and my hairdresser prompted this without even me mentioning, I thought this honesty was really refreshing. My haircut was great, and I’ve gotten a number of compliments since having it done. Serina was fantastic! I hadn’t had a haircut in almost 18 months, so was going from long to short and I have to say I’m very impressed - I don’t usually like my hair shorter, but Serina did an amazing job and I’ll definitely be back!

The go-to place for waxing! This is my first time getting waxed by a professional. Based on the positive reviews, I went to Wax Bar London and met Sara, who was very friendly and accommodating. I went to get my underarms, legs and Hollywood wax. As this was my first time getting a Hollywood wax, I was nervous about the pain and the process but Sara was nice and clear about the procedure. The experience was not as painful as I expected, and the pain I experienced subsided quickly. (I took ibuprofen half an hour before, so that might have helped alleviate the pain). Sara worked quickly and professionally, she checked with me when the wax temperature is tolerable on my skin. She couldn't have made my experience any better and I highly recommend her as the person and the wax bar for your waxing needs. They were clearly quite experienced in it.

Being able to make an appointment online was so convenient and I love the fact that their hair products are vegan. The salon is comfortable, stylish and relaxing. I just moved to London and really needed a parlor close to home for hair removing and styling needs. After a bit if research I found hair bar, it was highly rated and the reviews were just fantastic. Needless to say I had an amazing experience at hair bar. Went in first time for a threading appointment with Bee and she was incredibly friendly and very good with her work. She gave great advice for my face and knew exactly what I wanted. My eyebrows looked great! I came back the second time to try out the hair cut service and met Tony who started the appointment with a hair consultation. He carefully explained what he was thinking and heard me out to understand what I wanted. The end result was fantastic. He spent a good amount of time cutting and styling my hair and gave really good advice on how I should continue styling them so they fall well. I absolutely loved the place and will come again! Also everyone was very friendly and easy to talk to :)

As a Muslim woman having a separate room where my hair can be looked at and styled is amazing. You do have to go upstairs to wash your hair, go under the dryers etc but they always make sure you're hair is covered so I'm very happy. I went in in April with uneven damaged hair and now I have healthy hair... couldn't recommend it more. The fact that they deal with ALL hair types as well is something you rarely come across.

I took a 3 hour trip to hairbar london yesterday as i live all the way in the West Midlands, I cover my hair and was disappointed in the lack of hairdressers in the Midlands that don't provide private accommodation for muslim woman, especially ones with afro hair. Also the afro hairdressers down there just dont seem to be living up to peoples expectations. So I decided that because of the amazing reviews and reputation hair bar has I will dedicate my time and money to come to London. I was NOT disappointed. This place is amazing! This is the best customer service I have ever had anywhere, every single person in the hairdressers where friendly, polite and professional. My afro hair was styled my crystal who is such a gem! She's lovely, very attentive, listens to you and knows what she is doing when it comes to natural hair, she's just such a happy person and that's what you want when you go to the hairdressers! Janet is so kind, and professional she made me feel so welcomed in her salon, I felt like I could ask her anything! Anyway if you cover your hair and even if you don't, if you have natural, European or curly hair you NEED to come to this salon. I will be making my way here every month! even though I live so far I don't care because this place has given my confidence back that I have lacked for a long time! Thank you hair bar!! I went there to cut my hair, there were long , far down after the bra (back) and I ended up with arm-lenght. I have got an extra conditioning treatment for my hair, which was a nice suprice. Best hair salon in london!!! And privacy for woman wearinghijab.... They did a real transformation to my hair. I had been to an other salon before and they ruined my hair very badly it was over processed by appling bleach wrongly for highlights. My whole hair was damaged thin and had massive hair loss. I have been at hairbar the first time. Before I attend the appointment they recommend me to come first for a consultation after I explained her what happened to me on the phone. I also was very happy that I was able to go there with hijab cause they provide downstairs a separate room. The owner recommended me to do a keratin treatment and after to give it a nice short haircut. One week later I went there for my appointment and I'm more then happy I found this little cute and professional salon. The stuff is very nice friendly and experienced. I generally not a fan of short hair but the way she cut my hair I really felt in love with it. The salon is for me on the other end of london but the long travel is really worthic and you absolutely will get what you pay for!!!! Also the salon itselfish is decorated very nicely and everything is clean and new. Definitely found my new favourite salon Thanks again for the great service

I wear a headscarf and so do not go to salons often.. usually have someone come home to cut my hair. As it's my birthday soon I thought I would treat myself.. so trekked from south London to attend Hair bar. I had called and booked the private room for 4pm but when I arrived at 4pm I was told that someone else was in the room and I would need to wait 20 mins.. no apology was given and I was not offered any drinks while I waited. 30 mins passed and I had to re-enquire about when I can be seen! The reason I have given 4 stars is because Crystal came and saved the day! She listened to why I was upset and went on to provide excellent customer service! She was professional and lovely from start to finish! If it wasn't for her I would have walked out! I would recommend the following for the other staff members: 1. Confirm who has booked the private room before taking another customer there 2. Which one was a combo waxing called full wax with Brazilian inc. full legs, arms, armpits and Brazilian for 85£. So I called them booked for a full wax and Brazilian everything went well next day I have got an appointment.. Michaela was very professional,kind, no pain at all and very fast as I was expecting from a waxing salon however at the end I have paid more than I was expecting 121£ instead of 85£ plus as a first time visitor 20% didn't applied as they say on their website!
