Love this place. Have had a haircut from AJ and Daniela. Great haircuts and friendly conversation. Most importantly, the understood my hair and its needs. Amazing place, if I could give more than five stars I would! I trusted danielle to do what she thought was best and she did the most amazing job! There was no wait time either, and they had an entire room especially for hijabi women. Danielle gave me fantastic advice on how to maintain my hair, will definitely be returning!

Each stylist is experienced and can offer you advice on what would best suit you.... which is invaluable. The salon is always clean and well presented Prices are fantastic! Always have great service by staff there. Went with my husband for his hair cut and the stylists have worked there for years and they know what each client wants. Staff are friendly and they have a women's only section too for hijabis - a you have to do is book in advance and the female hair stylist Danielle will style your hair. One of the best barbers I've been to, they provide a great service and friendly environment. Absolutely fantastic! I called before hand and got an appointment in an hour. When I arrived George was waiting for me and took into a room at the back. I felt I had a lot of privacy (which is important for me). He then proceeded to show me an array of hair colours and we picked one after he advised me. He was professional and friendly throughout and even offered me tea/coffee while I waited for the colour to take effect! I felt like a VIP! Got a blow dry and my beard straightened and a wax finish. The best hairdressers experience I've ever had so if you need hair services got to AJs, you won't be disappointed! 1.5hrs well spent and worth every penny. Thanks George!

I've been going here well over 10 years when I first started college, its my go-to barber. One thing I've noticed is that they don't rush a haircut, very relaxed and always communicating. Few points I've realised over the years: - they have kept up with the times, you can now book online for a haircut - new clippers, chairs etc. they don't hesitate to spend money for a better customer experience - you will see these guys cleaning after themselves every few mins, this place is extremely clean for a barber shop.

Aj and his team are awesome as usual, been coming for years now, always well looked after by whoever does my hair on the day, whether it's AJ himself or George. It's very reasonable in terms of price and a professional at what he does, it's a refreshing change from the amateurs I go to when I can't make it to AJ. The atmosphere and staff are welcoming and friendly. Never had a complaint about them so far. Oh and the occasional complimentary cups of tea is a nice touch to :)

As a student from Newham college coming to the salon for experience and work at my first thought was that it would just be any barbers but when I walked in I was supprised because it is decorated amazingly. My first day there I felt so welcomed like I'm part of the team the staff are really nice they make you feel welcomed they aren't like other salon where you go get your hair cut and leave because the salon vibe is great you can sit down and have a laugh the banter is great between staff and customers. I have learnt a lot of stuff that I never knew about hair for example you have to work with the hair see what problems there are and what you can do to make sure you don't make it worse, I've learnt the different stages of cutting the hair to make sure that every haircut is your best. I am glad that I have the opportunity to work with such an amazing team and learn so many thing I didn't know about I recommend everyone to come to the salon because you won't regret it you will have a laugh and enjoy your haircut.

Aj hair design has never given me a bad hair cut one's and if I wanted to do something like dye my hair he or would tell me all the positive and negatives before doing so. Furthermore Aj's staff are super nice and there prices are very fair considering there professional and if you go to other hair stylist there very expensive. In conclusion Aj's is the best hair stylist I been to and will continue to go to.
