I had my hair cut and coloured on 9/5/2021 by Freda, it was a off chance I contacted her pretty last min, as the other salon was fully booked. But I’m soo glad to find her as I’m really looking forward to come back next time. she is so knowledgeable with the sort of cut that suits my faceshape, what’s in trend, yet honest advice on hair colours. She see her clients as individuals rather offer off the shelf advice which is really refreshing. She wasn’t pushy with selling alternatives. Honest review being a first time customer. I did a lot of research on Google and Instagram because it was going to be my first time doing something in my hair. I wanted to do a balayage and a hair cut. First I did the consultation in order to know what was possible to do in my hair. Freda was really honest with me about the possibilities, since I haven't do a lot colour in my hair. The price was a little bit high for me, however it was sooooo worth it, and in the end it is all about the experience and knowledge that the professional has, so at the end the price was just about right. No doubt. Also, I didn't wanted to be hard on my hair, but at the same time wanted to do something different and with good products, so I decided to use Olaplex. She explained to me everything during the process. When letting the colour in my head she verified constantly that my hair was doing good and I was afraid because not everyone can manage a curly and fine hair, but she did. She is a professional. The attention was really good. Using quality products and the final product just stunning! ( She took the pictures before and after and wow) To sum up: really good value for money, professionalism and I'll be back for sure, knowing that my hairdresser is interested in the health of my hair.❤️ Thanks Freda! I went to Frieda last week (just before going on a last minute holiday) after researching hairdressers in my area and looking at the reviews. So so glad I did! I had let my blonde box colour grow out but didn’t like the grey mousey hair it left behind. After patch testing several different box colours on the back of my hair and then getting highlights at another hairdressers which had left brassy yellow tones, I put a box ash blonde colour all over. BIG MISTAKE!! It left my hair a dirty uneven colour, terrible condition and basically a mess. Frieda has sorted that completely. She extensively treated my damaged hair and colour corrected it with lots of blonde highlights. I left feeling 10 years younger than when I went in! Freida is very patient and honest with her opinions. She will tell you exactly what she can do and what will suit you. Totally recommend 100%

She is a miracle worker - I walked in with a patchy, coppery/yellow mess and left with an absolutely gorgeous balayage. I popped in to Freda's on the off chance to cut my hair which was in desperate need of a reshape. I had never been before. Freda was lovely, sat me down, talked through what I wanted to do and she gave some great advice. Washed my hair, combed through the knots (it's really curly) and I didn't feel a thing. Other hairdressers have struggled to comb it through and have given me headache they tug so hard. Freda was very pleasant, didn't chat too much, kept very focussed on cutting my hair. Hair by freda is my go to place....she is the best hairdresser and gives me a barber style hair cut that i want without making me feel uncomfortable to a bit more trendy if i fancy it and advice on dying my hair different colors which she can do at the salon too. As a lesbian its really hard to get the short clipper haircut at a hairdressers salon without feeling awkward but freda is so non judgemental and funny she listens to what you want and makes you feel at ease and doesnt charge a bomb for it! Her salon is very clean, relaxing and bright and with covid happening you feel very safe as her salon is super clean.... she has masks and seperate spaces so you are not near anyone else. Great experience. Would highly recommend.

However when my turn came, Freda didn't rush through and gave me all the time I needed.
