How many people can honestly say they look forward to going back to their barbers? I'm not sure I did until I started visiting Marco. Great chop and unrivalled chat from both him and Shane.10/10 experience from the moment you walk in the door at a very reasonable price. Marco is very well known by the other local shop owners. Passers by frequently stop in to say hello, the place has a real community vibe. Great job guys!

I've been going to hair tonic for the best part of 5 years, and I can't imagine I'd ever go anywhere else in london for a hair cut. Great cuts, excellent chat, Marco always happy to accommodate if I'm going to be turning up late or need an early chop. An all round 5 star experience, keep up the good work fellas.

Great service. I’ve been to loads of local salons and barbers around Stoke Newington and Dalston and this would be the best. The biggest difference between this place and the others is that the stylist/barber actually listened to what I wanted. We had a discussion about what was achievable and what I could expect. A hidden Gem in the area of Stoke Newington. 10/10! Wow! The best Barber I have ever used in Stoke Newington (Hackney). Really rate Shaheen. He really knows how to cut hair. By far the only place for me. They are the best above all the rest in the area. Very humble and patient guys and this is vital in hairstyling. No rush service here. I have found in my experience living in the area for oved 30 years that the others lack in nostalgia and passion in men's hair and this place is a warm, calm and friendly environment with none of that artificial rubbish you get these days in this area. It actually feels like a Hair Studio to me. It shows that both these guys are from the local area and have lived among the locals which I feel very comfortable with. They are both experts in the field of Gents hairstyling at Hair Tonic no doubt about it. It took me a very long time to find these guys and I am so grateful I found them in the end and I will never trust another Barber or stylist to touch my hair - NEVER! Forget the rest; these professionals are the best in the trade. Please disregard any negative feedback on here because they are bogus and they have no clue about hair. The guys at Hair Tonic are far superior to all the others I have tried in the local area who claim to be experts. No they're not as I have been trying them for over 20 years and never felt satisfied as I did from my very first haircur at Hair Tonic. Hair Tonic hair stylists are highly passionate when it comes to hair and highly experienced too. I can assure you that much. I never have to suffer from anxiety as to which one of these guys at Hair Tonic trim my barnet as they are both equally good at what they do. I found they cut both similar styles. So you do not have to worry about this at all. P.s it is obvious the hate comments on here are actually covert competitive business related feedback in the local area and that has nothing whatsoever to do with the quality hair cuts served at this brilliant barber studio shop!
