Wanted a haircut and blow dry but completely run out of ideas. Needed something new, fresh, I spoke to Dejan and I can’t say enough about his capacity of understanding exactly what I want/ need! Amazing skills, fast and super friendly! Would strongly recommend him especially if you want something new but you don’t know what! Best stylist ever!

I’ve been seeing Hannah for several years now and still to this day she never ceases to impress. She always greets me with a big and warm smile and always asks if I’d like a tea / coffee before getting started. On several occasions I’ve posed the idea of a new hairstyle I wanted to try and on each occasion she’s talked me off the ledge of what otherwise would have been a simply terrible mistake on my part, and for that I'm even more grateful to her. I’ve seen many hairdressers over the years which have normally resulted in an ‘in-and-out’ process, but Hannah breaks this mould with her warm demeanour and general interest in life’s adventures. Would have no issues recommending her to friends / family. Five stars all around. Hannah’s simply awesome.

From my initial helpful and professional conversation with Ayoub to emerging with a new hairstyle, my experience at Headmasters London Academy was excellent. Siân listened carefully to the outcome I wished for my hair. In the context of my hair type, she explained the implications of my ideas and helped me make an informed decision about changing style. I am delighted with my new hairstyle. Another positive aspect of my experience is the quality of the education Siân provided for the trainees. She explained with great clarity each stage of the process, encouraged questions and gave very effective feedback. In addition to hair cutting technique, the trainees were also given instruction on correct posture when working at particular angles. My observations on how keen to learn and how engaged the trainees were enhanced my experience. Thank you everyone. Vera

Went on a a Thursday to get a balayage, cut and blowdry. The young lady who served me was lovely and did an amazing job. It was my first time colouring my hair and it was a great experience. Will definately visit again

I never leave reviews but Jessica cut my hair this evening and all I can say is WOW!! I went in for a standby appointment with low expectations and I’m amazed by the outcome. Jessica is knowledgable, professional and understood exactly what I wanted. Honestly can’t rate her enough. My hair looks so healthy and the blow dry is up there with the best ever! Plus as a bonus she’s so friendly so the time flew, felt like I was catching up with an old friend. Do yourselves a favour and book in for a haircut with Jessica, you won’t be disappointed!

The appointment was for my daughter who suffers with verbal and physical tics. I had called ahead to explain this and the staff were incredible! They were so understanding and so accommodating. Jordan is an outstanding hairdresser. I visit the salon regularly and can’t fault a thing. Jordan listens and will always advise. Had a great trim with Miriam, very friendly and super efficient.

I usually love going to Putney salon to have my haircut. Often I use standby deal, which I find very affordable and flexible option. Some stylists don't know how to cut your hair.Last time,I had even shown a picture of the hairstyle that I wanted,instead of having layers in all my hair, it turned into a hearcut mob.Very disappointed.

I had a lovely experience today at headmasters. All staff are friendly. Hairdresser Lena was patient with me then I was explaining what I wanted. As well her personality is nice and bubbly. It was nice that she explained what steps she was going to do. Had a nice advice too. My results was exactly what I wanted. So far Lena is best hairdresser I had. Thank you.

I was really happy with Cloe’s work at Putney Headmasters. She did what I wanted and took care of every detail to leave my haircut perfect. The lady that washed my hair gave me a very relaxing head massage which I truly needed. Awesome place to treat yourself!

Have been a customer here for a couple of years, and almost every cut exceeded my expectations. I recently switched to Josh, and based on his work I will certainly be returning. I had my doubts prior, but he really knows his stuff. Good clean fade, great scissor work, and the initial consultation made me feel like he was really listening to my requests, and brought them to life. Happy to give his opinion on where we should deviate from what I asked for, with good justification for doing so. Very happy with the result. Looking for a solid mens cut - ask for Josh. Overall 9/10 (one point deducted as it took me a year to be told the chairs for hair washing have a massage feature!)

Amazing service from Josh and Nuzla!!!! Josh is an absolute star! Highly recommend him for colouring, he knows what is the right colour for your hair and he will do everything until he gets it right and make sure you are happy. Nuzla did an amazing blow dry.If you want a 5 star service this is the right place!! Thank you Headmasters!

Friendly staff and well organised, it suits me for a local place for a blokes haircut, although it's generally more popular with women. The head massages are great - just try not to dose off, as they're really relaxing despite the hustle and bustle all around you!
