I had the best experience at Headmasters in Wimbledon Village. The receptionist was so lovely, she and the hair stylist, Saffron, were very understanding about my situation where I had gone to another salon for a balayage and it didn’t turn out great. They both reassured me that I was in good hands and they were not wrong. Saffron was amazing and she delivered! My hair looks great! She was very informative in what she was doing and very understanding with what I wanted. Will definitely be coming again and recommending my friends and family.

First time at this salon and I’m super impressed! I used Ellie to have my hair cut and blow waved! She was so good and gave me exactly what I asked for! I cannot recommend this salon enough! From my hair wash, head massage to my final trim just an amazing experience!

It’s the first time I’ve been and I had a brilliant experience with Damian. My hair was not in great condition (and I’d not had a proper haircut for years) but he was so professional, made me feel comfortable and totally got what I wanted! Can’t remember the last time I walked out of a salon completely happy with my haircut and it’s made me feel so much more confident.

I felt I needed a refresh of my colour and style. Rosie listened carefully and made suggestions, which didn’t seem too “extreme” and which I agreed to. My result is absolutely lovely and I’ve already received compliments! She took great care and spent more time than usual, and I’m delighted!

The person who cut my hair was good and it wad a good cut but as I walked in and got an appointment it was £35.00 but any follow up appointments would now cost £97.00 as they would be pre booked. My hair is short a pixi that takes no longer than 20 minutes. At £97.00 same cut, same person.....not so sure it would be worth that amount.

This is on my doorstep but I didn't realise how big (or good) the salon is. There are about about 2 dozen styling stations over 2 floors. The salon is clean and spacious. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The best bit though was I loved the cut I left with. I was also concerned about the health of my hair and scalp, my hairdresser addressed and alleviated my concerns then gave me advice on good practices when styling my hair.

I came here after having had two very bad experiences at Rush Wimbledon. My mum called the salon as she was also very nervous due to my past experiences. She asked to speak to the most experienced person there. Marcélo who is the manager and one of the top stylists came to the phone. The professional advice that was given over the phone caused my mum to instantly trust him. I came in for an initial consultation and had an allergy test. The instant I met Marcèlo I felt completely at ease and knew that I was in very capable hands. I have been coming here for the past year now and can honestly say that Marcélo is absolutely brilliant! The quality of my hair now even enables me to have highlights more often. The salon has a very pleasant friendly atmosphere. I advise anybody who has a bad experience to go and try Headmasters Wimbledon village.

Such a relaxing salon. When you have your hair washed you feel like you're in a mini spa. Jayde is an amazing hairdresser and a really lovely girl. I followed her from headmasters in Wandsworth especially. When you find someone good and that you trust you'll follow them anywhere!

Decent haircuts, friendly staff - certainly on the higher end of haircuts, but certainly for gents hair the cheaper places in Wimbledon don't cut it (if you'll excuse the pun). My tip is to ask for a standby appointment, that way you get a cheaper price.

I had a really good experience at this salon. I called for a standby appointment at 2:30pm and was able to book myself in for a cut and blow-dry at 4pm the same day for only £30. My stylist was LJ and she was lovely! My coat was taken when I arrived, and I was offered refreshment. We had a good chat about what I wanted, and I was then taken to have my hair washed. The chairs by the sinks are massage chairs, and I was also given a nice head massage. I was really happy with the end result of my cut - I have very long hair, and have had several experiences in the past where stylists have taken off a lot more than I was comfortable with. This was not the case with LJ, who also blew my hair out nicely. I arrived at 4pm and left at 5pm - which did feel slightly fast, but since I can't really fault the standard of the cut, I suppose is a bit of an irrelevance. All in all, a great experience. I would go back here!

Really pleased with my cut and colour from LJ @ Headmasters Balham. Have been coming here for over 3 years now and never disappoints. My hair can be quite difficult to manage and she always takes the time to work out what will look good for me, and also (most importantly) in a way I will be able to style myself at home. Always have lots of compliments on my hair, so definitely a great job. Also really friendly and easy to chat to, no need for the mundane chit chat you sometime have to put up with when passing the time with strangers. would highly recommend !!

I read through a lot of these reviews and I'm absolutely shocked by what I have seen, to start my experience with this salon was nothing less then perfect from I entered the assistances asked if I wanted a beverage and took my jacket there was a bit of a waiting period before I was seen by my stylist but only about 5-7 minutes because the shop floor was full of clients. I saw the stylist called Lj and she was assisted throughout my consultation by Lisa I just had went in for a root touch up and ended up getting a full head of colour, wash and cut and saved on the me day make over what runs on Monday and Sunday and if you ask me that's a bloody bargain compared to some over salons, all the stylist are and seem nice and I've seen some of the work first hand it everyone who was getting their hair done seemed to love it and all throughout the stylist ask your opinion to make sure your in love with your hair as much as they are, I will definitely recommend going and checking this out Reply and tell me what you think Thank you

I had an appointment there with Danielle who did an amazing job ! I went to change my hair color from a dark honey blond with copper refletcs (from an old supermarket hairdye) to a light blond, and the result was stunning. Everybody was really nice and helpful (I stayed there for 5 hours so I had time to talk with several persons). They offered me a drink and added some biscuits with it, which was really kind. The massaging chairs are a big plus, you can really relax. Plus the backwash sink doesn't hurt your neck like it usually does. I will go back for sure ! Actually my appointment is already booked :)
