I've been going to Heat hairdressers since the age of 10, 15 years ago, only once in that time have I had my hair cut elsewhere, when living abroad. The quality of cuts, professionalism and reliability of service is always exemplary Peter is the most kind-hearted, admirable man. Its a pleasure to not only call him a hairdresser, but also a good friend. All other members of staff are of a similar vein- extremely friendly, undeniably respectful and caring to the core. Matteo was truly professional, confident in his cutting techniques and really understood my hair and which style would look best. He’s one of few hairdressers that take the time to wash my thick hair properly and actually comb it – something you’d think was standard! I came to him last-minute and he made a special effort to fit me in after another hairdresser had butchered my hair, leaving it noticeably uneven. Matteo used some scissor tricks I’d never seen before! I had only used this salon once before and had a great experience with Bianca too but after this time, there’s no doubt that I will be visiting each time I need a trim. I feel like a different person now – thanks again Matteo!

Best hair cut in London I’ve been coming here for just about 6 years. Peter is the best hair dresser in town. He’s incredibly attentive and detail oriented. On top of that he’s engaging and funny and a pleasure to be around. You won’t be disappointed going here, trust me. Highly recommend this place.

I've been going here since I first moved to Brockley 15 years ago - lovely people, friendly vibe, fantastic service. Book early to avoid disappointment - and be prepared to wait a bit: it's always busy because everyone round here knows you get a £70 (men's) haircut for 25 quid!

What a hidden gem after having a close encounter with a bad one a good one is hard to find I would give 10 stars 🤩 so 5 will have to do lovely and welcoming from the moment I walked in offered a drink straight away nice bit of banter lovely staff. Lee did my hair for me there was no rush asked me what I would like and explained what I was looking for and he did exactly what I asked for absolutely over the moon with my hair and will definitely be going back Lee have a lovely manner about him and is so easy to chat with and makes you feel relaxed and important.

I saw on recent post on here from someone who had a bad experience with a balayage and I was extremely reluctant to go to my appointment. However I went anyway and had the nicest guy do my hair. He stayed for hours after the salon closed just to ensure it looked good and I couldn't recommend a nicer, more professional and comfortable salon. I had a balayage and cut and blow dry and I was extremely happy with the outcome... a very good overall experience :) (Matteo, Matthew?)

Very happy all 3 times I have been. Lee and Bianca have both cut my hair, and Bianca has also cut my daughter's hair. It is reasonably priced, unlike some other local salons. They are friendly and professional and give good advice and most importantly, I think my hair looks really nice. I'll be definitely going again

Really great staff and fantastic value for what you get! My new regular spot for my hair cut! Definitely going back again!!! As soon as you go inside you're offered a drink and there are loads of magazines to choose from. The staff are very kind and friendly, perfect for a local place. I haven't had better service. A friendly, comfortable salon. I wanted a complete re-style so my stylist spent a lot of time cutting my hair and making sure it was how I wanted it. Very good value for money and a relaxing experience. The lack of a diffuser (I've got curly hair) meant that the blow-dry wasn't quite how I wanted it, otherwise I'd have given five stars! Would highly recommend.

I had a great experience at Heat today after another local hairdresser cut my hair really badly. I walked out of the other salon with a wonky haircut and they wouldn’t fix it straight away. I then discovered Heat and Lee was so helpful and friendly. He found time to fit me in even though he was busy and fixed my wonky hair, so now it’s looking great and shiny - and not wonky at all! Just had the best experience here. Took my friend to my hairdressers and they destroyed her hair. The length was like 2inches different on either side. We popped into Heat on the off chance they might be able to sort it out having been told we would need to wait 2hours for it to be sorted at the original place. The staff at Heat were just wonderful - squeezed her in. Made us both laugh. Essentially saved the day. Looks like they have two new customers not just the one!

I just had an amazing haircut by Lee! I went in yesterday scared of hairdressers (but loving being blonde) after a horrible experience at a different salon which resulted in clumps of my hair being fried off. I have been coming here for years with my 11 year old son Vitaly. He adores Pete and absolutely refuses to let anyone else cut his hair. And with good reason! It always looks great and Vitaly also loves to have a chat with Pete about all the latest games and gadgets etc! I have Paulina who is really great too, always gets it right! And with no fuss, which is great as I never have time to be pampered! Though I know they pamper those who want it! The staff are all really friendly, going there is a fun experience and the prices are really reasonable. Everything is great here!

Great Haridressers. I take my three boys and we all get our haircuts together. Peter and Paula are great and are always ready with a coffe for me. Sweets for the kids :-) Last time Peter got his iPad out for my boys to watch whilst they had their hair cut. Proper service. Proper hairdressers.
