Decided to try Hectik after a recommendation and opted to travel 20 miles from home to the salon. Glad I did as Catherine and Micheal were fantastic. A big thank you to Catherine who has magic and expert hands for being patient and persevering with my wife and after hours she managed to detangle my wife's hair and then Micheal finished off with a cut and blown dry. Place was very welcoming. Offered refreshments. Overall a lovely experience. If it wasnt for a 20 mile long trip I would be there regular customer however I think my wife has already made up her mind where she will go after today and whether I like it or not she is most certainly going to be dragging me there kicking and screaming. 🙂 Again a big thank you to Micheal and Catherine and hope to see them soon. Lots of love and respect to both.

Barbara is simply first class, providing excellent beauty services. She has such a big heart and always makes me fell great - I’m severely visually impaired, therefore, I struggle with some aspects but Barbara makes sure my eyebrows, my nails always look perfect. She’s just a superstar now

Amazing hair colour and cut from Michael, took a lot of time and care to ensure it was exactly what I wanted. I was invited to a consultation before my appointment to discuss what I wanted and what was possible which I really appreciated. Wonderful experience, would highly recommend!

My daughter & I went in for a consultation & I was pleasantly surprised how lovely, modern & clean this place is! I've lived around the corner from it for the past 16 years & didn't realise how lovely it would be. The consultation took place as my daughter dyed her hair & it didn't turn out the desired colour. We had an indepth discussion with Catherine & Mike who were brilliantly professional & friendly at the same time! They gave brilliant advice & my daughter will be going in soon to get the colour corrected & hair styled. Admittedly, the cost is a bit on the higher end for us but they made us feel confident about their welfare & safety for their clients. Will definitely be going there again very soon. Happy we found this local gem & I found an old friend of mine in there too! 👌😊

Highly recommend hairdresser Janine - this is definitely the best haircut I have ever received. Definitely will be getting my haircut from Janine in the future!! Also, if you ever need to get your waxing done, I would highly recommend Barbra - I have been getting my waxing done by Barbra for years and I cannot fault! My skin is always left clean and smooth!! I first came across Hecktik Hair in June 2019. The same guy had done my hair for years but had emigrated. I was really nervous about having to go to someone else. My hair is naturally dark brown, but I have it heavily highlighted and only like a very ashen colour- with no warm tones left at all. This is not easy to achieve and some stylists have got it really wrong over the years! Hectik was close to my work, easy to park near and did not look too intimidating. Mike did my hair - listened carefully to what I wanted to achieve and then did his utmost to make it happen. He used an amazing 3d toner after bleaching which knocked all the warmth from the highlights- it definitely had a lilac tinge for a couple of weeks but this looked great anyway and the colour held so well I didn't need to go back until December!! This time Mike and Kerry spent ages on my hair, using hundreds of foils and tiny pieces of hair- the result was the bleach took so well I didn't even feel the need for a toner- fantastic. The Salon has a great family atmosphere, is not at all intimidating and Staff go the extra mile to try and meet your requirements. No hard sell of Salon products ( I will not use a Salon that employs this tactic) just information and advice on what may be helpful. Prices are very reasonable. If you are looking for a new Salon give Hectik a try - Mike is a maestro with colour- you won't regret it!!

Fab experience every time! We always have a great conversation about what I would like to do with my hair in order to ensure I get what I want and that it will look good/be as healthy for my hair as possible. Super great for curly hair too, I have 3B type curls and it’s a great experience every time! Highly recommend.

After having a horrible experience at a different hair salon 2 and a half years ago I’ve been terrified to be seen to by anyone. But my hair was so dry and damaged that I needed to pluck up the courage! I finally booked an appointment with Kerry and explained my previous trauma and she took such good care of me - Really made me feel comfortable, will definitely be coming back soon for my treatment as my hair still has some ways to go !

Very pleased with my first experience at Hectik Hair, Michael was very helpful in terms of giving me advice about my hair and what would need to be done to strengthen and achieve the goals I want. Aside from giving good tips, he did an amazing job at lightening and toning my hair to a white-blonde shade which I've always struggled with doing in the past, due to cost and and risk of over-bleaching. Will be revisiting again this weekend for a treatment!

This salon is absolutely amazing! I’ve been coming here since I was 12. I used get party hairstyles done at that age. Hektic hair then opened their very own beauty room since then I have been getting a full body wax by Barbra. Barbra is the most loving, kind, friendly person on the this earth. I was absolutely terrified of waxing however, barbra made me feel at ease, now I can talk on the phone whilst getting my waxing done! The application and growth of her skills are absolutely spot on. I was recommended by barbra to have my hair cut from another lovely lady who works at hektic hair (Janine) . I was apprehensive at the time as I have had a lot of bad hair cuts but i trusted barbra. I have to say everyone reading please understand it is not cut on the day that you should feel happy with it is how the hairs grows out after the cut. My hair growth grows so incredibly lovely that I only trust janine to cut my hair. I can go on even more, customer service is absolutely 10/10! I will continue coming to Hektic Hair and so should you!
