Went for my first time and was served by an amazing lady whose name I don’t recall but she’s of Indian (Goa) origin. Lovely, professional, and quality service. I would definitely return and would advise anyone in the Shepherds bush/ hammersmith, Goldhawk who is looking for a good beauty salon to come. I am already thinking of when to return to get a hair treatment. The lady definitely deserves a bonus for her warm welcome and professional service. Thank you

My absolute favourite hair salon!!! I’ve been going to Helen’s Salon for over 10 years, there have been many changes over the years, but one thing that never changes is the level of quality for every treatment given. Can cater to all types of hair, worth every penny. Brilliant even with children . I take a selfie every time before leaving 😏

Wow. Where do I begin? I wanted to get a balayage and some hair extensions put in for a while now and have been looking at different salons. I was stuck in traffic one day in front of Helen’s salon and I noticed how busy it was and the lovely decor caught my eye as well. I remembered the name of the salon and googled it immediately to see Helen’s work and it was the exact blonde that I was looking to do. I had chocolate brown reddish hair and I saw her colouring videos and was intrigued at how she managed to achieve the perfect blonde with a dark hair base in one go. I then saw all the positive reviews about this salon and Helen, and I decided to book an appointment. All I can say is that I don’t regret it at all. This has been my best experience at a salon and I tried out so many from the big brand ones to the local ones. Helen is so kind and professional, I had no idea what hair extensions to buy and she took me to the shop and helped me. Not to mention that she explained every step to me during the colouring process and offers a lot of great tips as well. After she finished doing my hair as well as my hair extensions she gave me a paddle brush for my new hair and I found that to be very thoughtful. All of this and the result is exactly what I had asked for. My hair is soft and doesn’t feel damaged from the balayage which is what I was mostly afraid of. I have received so many compliments about it and I can’t thank Helen enough for making me feel good. Here are some pictures to help you get an idea. Dark hair is before the balayage.

I’m very picky when it comes to my nails and gel manicures. But I couldn’t fault the results of my gel manicure here. It was shaped perfectly and painted evenly. And so far hasn’t chipped (I’ve had places where they chip after 2 days). Location is easy to get to by public transport and car. Parking isn’t the easiest to find but oh well

I have done a disaster at home by bleaching by myself my hair and all my roots were supeerrr ORANGE! I went to Helen in a rush and she has done some magic I can tell, my hair is super super blonde and shiny and thank for the best products that she uses my hair is not even close to being damaged, it looks and feel healthier than ever. And the customer service.. OMG! I have been served with tea coffees and delicious cookies, I spent there an amazing afternoon! Thank you Helen and staff, I will see you soon for sure!

I can't recommend this salon enough. It's a nicely decorated, friendly environment and totally Covid-compliant. Helen has done my hair for years and does such a great job (long hair/half head highlights), so I keep going back. They also offer massages, nails and all beauty type treatments. If this is local for you, definitely give it a try!

WOW. I don't usually write reviews but I have to this time. What a fantastic service. Helen gave advise on how to improve the health of my hair and I trusted her recommendation for a keratin treatment. I am so so so happy with how it turned out. I am regular customer at this Salon and to be honest the reason for that is because of the excellent service I receive every single time . The staff are warm, welcoming and very professional . The salon is also very clean and my regular hairdresser & owner (Helen) is just fantastic at what she does . I decided to cut most of hair off back in January and I was very nervous about this as I have Afro hair and it was my first time at H and G but Helen knew exactly how to style my hair, she put me at ease right away and my hair looked fabulous for the new year! Since then, my hair has grown a lot and it has been maintained well thanks to Helen! I would definitely recommend this salon ! They also offer other beauty treatments including nails, facials and eyebrow threading etc. So what are you waiting for ! 👌🏾😄

I found my way to this lovely salon via a Groupon voucher and I could not be happier with my experience there. I was lucky enough to have the salon owner, Helen, as my hairdresser that evening but all staff were courteous, professional and kind. I have honestly never had a more thorough hair wash (or head massage!) in my life! Staff really listened to what I wanted, provided helpful suggestions and advice around hair care and styling and I felt I could really trust them. I was offered a cup of tea, my coat was hung for me and I was then bundled back into it at the end of the appointment. I was very impressed with the range of hair and beauty services available and the attention to detail. Would highly recommend this salon!

Thanks to the perfectionist that Hellen is and her amazing team, I always walk out feeling like a kardashian 💁🏾‍♀️I (I wish I took a before picture but imagine, mum of 2 under 2 hasn’t been to hairdresser for 1yr 🤦🏾‍♀️ ) I stumbled across this salon after shopping at Westfield on holiday from Sweden a year ago and it was the best salon experience I have ever had in my life and I used to be an air hostess living in Dubai! typically I always walk out of hair dressers disappointed that I can straighten my hair better or that they cut too much and the treatments don’t last but was amazed how soft, sleek and shiny my hair stayed months after. I haven’t trusted anyone with my hair since. This is now my forever salon as I have just walked away again beeming. Every time I am in Uk I make sure to come to Hellen so she can fix my hair. This time I did the full package with nails, eye brows, hair cut, treatment, set and dead straight iron Waw! Feeling a million bucks and so happy with everything. Beautiful, clean atmosphere with really nice coffee, WiFi and staff!

Very happy with my Olaplex treatment and my haircut. I was offered a cup of tea several times and asked if I was okay. Just a little con the lady that washed my hair (she did an amazing massage) left me unattended after rinsing it. No towel on my hair or communication at all with Iris, the woman that did my haircut. I had a great experience and I’ll come back after summer to have another treatment done. Thank you for all of the compliments about my ombré.

Would definitely recommend this salon, their customer service is excellent. I have thick curly hair and they knew how to blow dry and handle my hair well (thanks to Helen), it is so difficult finding hairdressers who can handle my hair type and I'm glad I've found it at H&G. I have been coming to this salon for a long time and i am so greatful for finding this place. I have afro hair so it was hard to manage but they have helped my hair grow and become healthy. The staff are all really kind and listen to your every need. I have had bad experiences in the past and damaged my hair but the h&g staff made my hair healthier and alot better than it has ever been.

I hadn't been to a hairdresser's for years, as I don't like just anyone touching my hair, due to bad experiences with hairdresser's in the past. However, I'd been to H&G's a couple of times, for wash, treatment, trim and pressed and my goodness, Helen's hands work miracles (she always looks top notch from head to toe also). My hair is naturally frizzy and dry, regardless of what I use to moisturise. By the time she was finished with me, my hair looked like the human hair wig I always wear whenever I can't manage my hair.... Perfect!!! My scalp felt clean, moisturised and nourished with that professional finish! Additionally, my hair has grown back steadily and healthily. I wish I could go more frequently but life is just busy. Hi&G will always be my number one beauty salon. Highly recommended!!!

Her team is very welcoming and professional. Would highly recommend. Easy location to get to; tube station next door and there is parking space for drivers on side streets.
