I can’t recommend this place highly enough. I’ve been coming to see Alan since I moved to London 4/5 years ago and he always takes time to understand the look you are after as well as offer any advice and tips, depending on your hair style. I’ve also used Kat on a number of occasions and she has also been excellent. They’re a great pair.

In a world of fast pace change Highbury Hair Studio and the owner Alan has been in the same place for over 25 years. Classic, contemporary and cool. The Studio is haven, with eclectic and classic music, and banter galore. Not to mention a proper haircut rather than the one cut fits all of others. Try it and maybe like me 10 years on you’ll still be going back, even though I moved out the area 5 years ago.

Apart from a few years when, inexplicably, I went other places for a haircut, I've been coming to Alan almost since he first opened. He takes real pride in his experience and talent and he's always offered great value for a really good cut. He's the only hairdresser I've ever actually enjoyed going to. I know I'll get a top class haircut, have a bit of friendly chat and a laugh all with a classic soundtrack in the background.

Alan doesn't just give you a haircut, he provides a whole experience. Seems a bit pretentious written out like that but I can't think of better way to describe it right now. Anyway, the cut is great; he really took the time to check out how my hair grows, the shape of my head and the best style to cultivate from these considerations. He's got good chat as well, I can't remember what we talked about but it was varied and fairly nonsensical. See you for the next one soon enough.
