I visited Jack Knife Barbers over a week ago and WOW- what a hair cut! Cristian did a fantastic fade and cut. My friends said that it was the best fade I'd ever had and that my hair looked amazing! The atmosphere is consistently great in Jack Knife barbers and along with the best level of service, it's why I travel 30 minutes each time to have my hair cut by these awesome barbers. It's a professional barbers with no pretentious nonsense. Previously, I've had my hair cut by Ibrahim who is also a fantastic barber! I highly recommend this place to anybody looking for an experienced barber who listens carefully to what a customer wants and provides exactly that and a brilliant experience.

Great service and good value for money. Be aware though, as you can’t book barber in advance risk is that you’ll end up with someone not as great as your previous experience. I’ve had 4 different barbers doing my hair here, 3 of them with great results. The fourth one completely misunderstood what I wanted unfortunately.

I've been getting my hair cut almost every month here for a few years now. It's an excellent place! The folks are skilled and know exactly what theyre doing. Theyd give you the cut you want, or theyre happy to suggest a new style if youre looking for a change. There's always a great, friendly atmosphere, lots of chatting while you get your stuff done. Theyre quite busy too, so it's always a good idea to book online in advance so you dont have to wait. Strongly recommended!

This barbers is fairly new and still a bit of an undiscovered gem. I've had some of my best haircuts here and at good prices. The staff are really friendly and ridiculously hardworking. And I find the whole vibe nice and chilled. Pretty sure this place will be buzzing in a year or so.

Good for older people but if you want a fresh trim go elsewhere. I went for a wash and cut it was perfectly fine, just not exactly as I wanted. Initially they didn't take card so had to go and get cash out by which time I had lost my spot in the queue and had to wait... Then I told the guy exactly what I wanted him to do and he didn't do it, told me it wasn't 'possible' (I've had it done before). The haircut was fine but it felt like he rushed it and didn't even ask me how much I wanted off the top (Luckily not too much). One positive is that they offer you a bev of your choice.

Haircut was great. I liked it... But I wish I were asked about my facials length... The guy cut my facials too short. I took off my glasses and I didnt even realize the outcome till he finished. Please just warn them about this. They should ask the client for their proper facial length... Thanks...

I have to say that I'm a very demanding customer when it has to do with my hair. JackKnife barbershop and Mo,their barber that treat me,are excellent in everything. Very professionals,spending time on every customer,the atmosphere is as you're on a piano bar,which helps you relax. Once again their barber Mo, a very kind and positive guy from Bulgaria, who is very professional and skillful. I definitely recommend everyone to visit this shop, I will be a regular from now on and I live in Turnpike Lane .

Went there today for a beard trim. I am pretty odd with shaving stuff and just metal near my face (sick as kid and had enough needles/blades near me for a lifetime). Also only 2nd time in my life I have been to a barber who is not my normal guy. They were innately patient, kind and considerate. Service was just exceptional. Thank you.

Always a great haircut here, really great price compared to other places. Really friendly professional staff. I've been about 5 times now and it's consistently good. I would definitely recommend booking an appointment online first though as it's always busy with walk ins.

I have a pretty big beard which needs constant shaping due to it's length. I normally get it cut in Covent Garden at a trusted Barbers Shop but the person I use left and so I thought I'd try out Jack Knife. I am so glad I did. For a fraction of the price of what the "specialist" in Covent Garden charge I felt I got a lot more attentive and skilled barber. They tended perfectly to my requirements and understood exactly what I was describing for the shape an style of my beard. I have now made this my local and recommended it to a number of people. Not only did I get a beard trim last time but also a hot towel and neck/arm massage. If there was one improvement I could suggest is that the place take card as you have to pay cash. That is a minor thing but would polish the already great experience.

Really liked it here. It's clean and well done out, comfortable and the staff are friendly. You can book online, which is a bonus. Really happy with the haircut, too. Not particularly expensive, either (they had an offer on and I paid £14 for a dry cut).
