I’ve been coming to Jeff’s since 2014 and never once had a bad cut at either location. You’ll always get the same great service in a relaxed fun atmosphere. Sit back with a soft drink or great Turkish coffee while Ibrahim or one of his guys give you a great trim or a hot towel shave. A real gem in Southwark!

4 stars for the quality of the service, the coffee, the hot towel and the massage. It's £21.50, so not exactly cheap, but a fair price for an enjoyable experience. If my hair grows in the right way after 2 weeks, I'll return and give them 5. My barber (aka Harry Potter) said "You're hair is not easy." This is true and only decent barbers can handle it. If it is apparent that he was able to, I'll make this my regular....

My go to barber for a few years now, always a quality cut and shave. Hot towel service always makes you leave feeling like you're 10x as attractive as you actually are. Guys are super friendly but if you want to just sit in silence they won't try and force an awkward chat (perfect when you're slightly hungover and can't form full sentences)

Jeff's barbershop is a little gem that provides a top quality service with that essential attention to detail that makes customers come back time and time and again. I've been getting my hair cut there for nearly 4 years and have always had a great experience, from start to finish, the little things like the greeting you receive when you walk through the door, the banter you get when when you're sitting on the barber chair, and really nice candy sweet touch you get when you leave. Second time I have been to Jeff's the guys have been warm and welcoming each time, I was offered a drink and good conversations both with Ibrahim and his brother. The cut quality is top notch, they are attentive and listen to what you want. They may take a bit more time and more expensive than some other barbers but you pay for what you get and that is a first class haircut. Would definitely recommend.

I was given the full treatment (cut, shave, hot towel treatment) without being asked if I wanted it. This was my first experience of a Turkish barbers, so wasn't sure what was included. Would have been nice to have been asked if I wanted the full package before being given it. The experience was good. My hair cut and beard trim, turned out OK, though I've noticed longer hairs. Been here a few times now, once for a hot shave, which was brilliant and subsequently had a couple of wash, cut and finishes. Service has been fantastic, and the quality of the shaving, cutting and finishing is superb. Staff may seem a little aloof, and it might be disconcerting at first that they talk amongst themselves in their own tongue but I think that's part of the atmosphere and culture of a Turkish barbers and should be embraced. That being said I have certainly been pulled into the conversation (and the jokes), by the guys in there and it makes for a great all round experience. I'll miss the place when our office moves later this year, I may even make a detour for my regular cut.

Had been searching for years for a decent barber that didnt just give the basic and rushed cuts. This place is my new regular since finding it. The guys are friendly, you can have a soft drink whilst you wait - for free of course, and you'll leave with a quality hair cut. £21 is a little expensive but I gladly pay it knowing they will do a great job every time. Been going to Jeff’s since they started, and never looked backed always receive the same professional service from the whole team, brilliant banter with all the boys here. I Don’t understand how some of these reviews are saying they are beginners and rush, Yes this establishment may charge more than your average barbers but they take their time to cut your hair and are serious professionals. Think some of these negative reviews are from the local competitors who will never be on the level of Ibrahim and his team, keep it up and don’t pay attention to the jealous haters!

The haircut itself was quality. I got the Full Monty. The owner (or who I presume to be the owner) was very friendly. When I arrived I was immediately greeted, offered a drink and encouraged to have a seat as there was a queue. It was the weekend... The experience of the Full Monty was nice but I likely would just get a normal cut if I was a regular. Chairs are very comfy. Technique is good. The shave was quite good though at times the lather had gone cold so the razor technique with the lather was a bit uncomfortable. I haven't had a ton of wet shaves at a barber but I am quite familiar with wet shaving as it's what I do (double-edged safety razor and all). The skin prep and after care was nice. But the process itself didn't seem right. I could be wrong. The flames to remove ear hair and all was interesting. Not upset about it or anything. Also new to me, but it was fine. The one area I'd knock the point (other than the somewhat cold shave) is the conversation skills of my particular barber. Had he been as friendly as the owner?/manager? then this place would be a hit all the time, every time. But my guy essentially only spoke to me as needed. He was talking a lot -- to the other guys working in the shop. I don't need it to be a women's salon. But at one point while waiting for my cut the manager was walking past and spoke to me for a minute, immediately knew I was American and asked a question or two. It was trivial but friendly and welcoming, especially as someone new to the shop. But my barber really only ever said what he needed to to give me instructions or ask my preference. Would I go again? Absolutely! Probably wouldn't get the shave. If I had a special occasion, I might give the shave one more shot. (Also read somewhere on Google that Full Monty included eye brows. Not sure if that's accurate, but if it is, they didn't do mine.) Otherwise though, the haircut was really good and the shop has a nice vibe to it.

What a great find! I'm new to the area and was going to a wedding the next day and needed to find a barbers quick. A colleague told me about this place so took their advise and went. The Turkish barbers were great had 1st class clipper cut and beard shape up from Henry or Harry i think his name was? My husband refuses to go to the Barber's as he claims it will not be like the one he had in turkey. I read the reviews on this place and thought I would surprise him and hope the experience would be as good as the one in Turkey. As soon as we walked in he was asked to take a seat and the welcome was amazing and was genuine. I sat and had a turkish coffee while by husband was pampered and I was very comfortable. When it comes to local barbers to the office, Jeff's is by far the best. I've tried the other ones in the area, but Jeff's is more about making you look and feel good, rather than about the gimmicks, and definitely the best value. They know what they are doing here! First time to this barber and massively impressed. The staff made me feel very welcome and I had a nice bit of banter with my barber. I didn't get his name but as soon as he started my haircut I could tell I was in very experienced hands. He listened closely to what I wanted and spent a decent amount of time paying particular attention to detail around ears and sideburns. The use of the cut throat razor to get an extra close cut on the neck was very satisfying as was the ear singeing which was a bit scary at first but again I felt I was in experienced hands. I was offered hot towels at the end and also offered a beverage when I arrived. Overall a very pleasant experience and delighted with the result.

I discovered Jeff's Barbers when I was living in the area. Now I moved to East London but still I go back there every time I need an haircut. The staff is made by turkish people, they are very nice in welcoming you with a drink, and they have very good skills, which in the end is the most important thing. The hot towel shave is a must. It's not cheap so if you're looking for a £8 haircut this is not the place for you, but in my opinion the service you get is worth the price.

Wonderful service, I always like the barbers that put the crepe around your neck so you don't spend the whole day with hair down your back. You know those ridiculously handsome guys that have a full head of hair and perfectly groomed beard? This where come to get dolled up. Born and trained in Turkie, Jeff and his brother Ibrahim, bring an old world barber experience to full expression. First timers will be amazed at what barbers provide in countries where barbering requires a fuller set skills than knowing how to operate a shaver. Also as part of the experience ask for a Turkish coffee. The haircut is £21 but you'll leave £25. The experience: priceless.

I've been getting my haircuts at Jeff's Barbers for over a year now since I started working in the area and in my honest opinion, they are the best and I repeat, the BEST barbers I have ever been to in my entire life. Let's be honest, every time we fellas go into a barbers for the first time we feel slightly nervous. However the team at Jeff's welcome you and make sure you're at ease. Always a smile and a kind greeting every time you walk in. What more could you ask for. 2. Free drinks! (You didn't hear this from me...) 3. Imbrahim. That is all. Go and find out for yourselves. 4. You'll feel like you're apart of the Jeff's Barbers family. Honestly, they make you feel welcome, always so polite and have great banter with you. They even bloody remember your name when you go in the second time haha! 5. The environment. Super chilled out, nice looking place and the whole experience is generally always great. 6. They properly style your hair after a haircut. I've had many issues in the past with other barbers where they'd throw on some wax and that would literally be it. These guys know what exactly I want and will always style my hair so amazingly well and put on hairspray to keep the style lasting for the day. 7. They really take their time with your haircut and always want to make sure it's perfect. Once one of the barbers stepped back to examine my hair to make sure it looked good, he even walked straight out the barbers on to the street to make sure it looked perfect from the other angle hahaha! 8. You'll always feel good when leaving because you know your haircut is the best you can get. Especially when you get random strangers on the street complimenting your hair then you know they've done a good job haha! 9. They'll stay late even if you're the last customer and won't rush your haircut so they can leave quickly. They honestly care so much about your haircut and won't rush the job. 10. These guys never fail to amaze me with their barbering skills, but damn these dudes were honestly sent from the barbering heavens. I usually get a skin fade and it is literally on point every single time I get a haircut. I'm honestly so glad and happy I found these guys. I hope this has convinced you to go check out Jeff's barbers. These guys are honestly the best barbers ever. You won't be disappointed!

Been here for years, always had the full service. One day I wantes the 'buzz cut' service that's £17, not the £21.50 full scissor cut, but the barber didn't even know what the 'buzz cut' was even though it's listed on their price menu, he thought I was asking for the kids price which is £15. I explained but he insisted it was £21.50, which left me confused to why they have a 'buzz cut'?! That aside- he came in from his lunch break without washing his hands so I could smell the fish and chips when he was cutting around the sides of my head. He kept speaking in Turkish with the guy next to us, which made me uncomfortable as I kept thinking he was talking about me. I agreed to pay the £21.50 even though no scissors were used, and the hair cut was literally 10-15min. Its a shame because I like the place, maybe I'll go back and try the other guys that had a more professional appearance and approach. For me it's not about paying the extra £4.50, because before that day I always did and more with tips. Because he didn't want to charge £17 he lost out on more than that and possibly a returning customer.
