I’m a guy with long hair, and Jamie really nailed the haircut. He gave great advice on maintenance, took a lot of care through the process, and I had lovely chat with both him and Jasmine, who took care of cleaning the hair before the cut. Good music, great atmosphere. All around fun experience, I’ll be going back.

A fantastic experience!!! I’ve tried a lot of places and have always struggled to find somewhere/someone who can actually help me decide on a cut and style to aim towards. I saw Charlie, and can not recommend him highly enough. He listened to what I’ve liked and disliked about previous styles and shared his thoughts with me. He set out a plan for where I can get my hair and what I need to do and how he can help. The cut was perfect and Charlie was giving me great detail about what he was doing and what we can do next time. By far the best cut I’ve had in London and looking forward to going back.

Very expensive for an average haircut. They didn't even wash my hair! Consultation process was great but the result was similar to a barber shop charging third of the price.

Not bad at all. Very expensive, and perhaps for people with more complex hair styles this is the place to be, but for me it was slightly overpriced. Nice friendly staff. Receptionist was especially nice. Had some confusion with the barber over what I wanted, don't know if my fault or his...but overall a good experience.

Great service here professional and great consultation before my cut to discuss what I wanted and the barbers input. Sure it’s a bit of a premium in terms of cost as opposed to high street barbers but I felt Jamie really new his art and I pushed the boat out having saved on cuts during lockdown. A couple of weeks later now but I felt he deserved some praise, we all do from time to time in our field. If it’s deserved of course! We appreciate you Jamie. Thanks mate

My favourite barber shop in London. They always do a great job and my haircut seems to last for me for ages 6-7weeks (as opposed to 3 weeks in some other places) as it grows out very well in the right direction keeping its style.

Having not had my hair done in a long time, and anxious to go somewhere that could do a good job on long men's hair, I'm delighted to have found this place. Jamie did a great job talking through what I was after, explaining what he was going to do, and generally advising me. Really impressed with the service and the haircut itself. Highly recommended!

I wouldn't normally write a review but after reading some of the negative ones, I thought I'd share. I'd had been growing my hair for a about a year and wanted a proper consultation on where to go with it. After a bit of research I came across Joe and Co, and once seeing how reasonably priced Joe was - he could easily be charging double what he does - I decided to book with him. It's a really nice atmosphere with the efficiency of a barbers but with the feel of a salon. Joe was brilliant, I was able to go through the different aspects of my haircut, the bits I wasn't sure about, getting decisive, technical answers, allowing me to decide and get across exactly what I wanted. He spent the whole time talking to me about my hair and showing me step by step exactly how to style it curly, as well as explaining the technical side of it, something which I'd failed to get from any other hairdresser over the years.

A fantastic haircut in an unpretentious atmosphere and very reasonable prices considering the location. Senior stylist Nikola was in constant discussion throughout to make sure I was happy, as well as providing knowledge and styling tips. Receptionist also very lovely and friendly with whole host of refreshments available.

This is my 3rd time visiting Joe and Co. Simon - the lead hairdresser never disappoints! It's hard to find a good hairdresser in London that knows how to cut fine hair with scissors. Expensive but worth every pound!

this is the third time I've visited joe and co. In the past, I used to get cheap hair cuts thinking somewhere like joe and co would be pretentious and not my thing. In reality, it's completely different. Simon who cuts my hair is a very relaxed, polite and down to earth guy and I get this feeling across the whole shop. Most importantly, the haircut I get is great and it makes me feel good. The price is fair and reflects the quality you get and although it's more than typically I like to spend on myself, it's worth it.

I used to have my hair cut by Joe Mills at The Lounge Soho. It took me a long time to find a men's hairdresser in London who could do a flat-top properly. Luckily, a friend recommended Joe. He's been cutting my hair for several years now, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. The staff at his Barber and Hairdressing salon, Joe and Co, are as polite and welcoming as their colleagues at The Lounge, and the Soho location makes it easy to reach. Excellent!

Hands down the best barbers I've been to in London. Totally relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and you'd be hard pushed to find a nicer gent than the man himself, Joe Mills. Definitely worth a visit!

The fact that I’ve been coming back to Hayley at Joe and Co for over 4 years should be reccomendation enough. But the fact I’ve lived away from London for the last 2 of those years in deepest darkest Derbyshire and have travelled down once a month just for a haircut should demonstrate just how good Hayley’s barbering is. I’ve never ever been disapointed and always walked away into the streets of Soho with that unbeatable, fresh, sharp, new haircut spring in my step. It’s probably a cliché that clients think that their hairdresser is their friend but I can honestly say Hayley is genuinely pleased when you have good news and sympathetic when life is not so good. A good conversation in a relaxed atmosphere (not the usual "where are you going on holiday") is an unexpected bonus of getting your hair cut here. Technically brilliant and a lovely warm person, with not a hint of pretentiousness in either Hayley or the salon itself make it just a perfect place for a haircut. I will never go anywhere else.
