I haven't been to Jubilee for some years, but I came in today. One of the things that I like about Asian hair salons and Jubilee especially is that they are very professional, caring and gentle. I have tried many hair salons in London and some of them, they just rushed through everything and I sometimes left with shampoo in my hair or product on my clothes. At Jubilee, the hair stylists take their time and they are very honest about what they think I should do with my hair which I appreciate. I think I will return more often next year.

Got my first perm here last week and it did not turn out anything like the picture I showed the stylist sadly. I have had the perm for a couple of days and it has loosened a lot, I waited 3 days before washing and have only used conditioner. The stylist was really nice though and it was a good experience just the style didn’t turn out how I wanted, they have called me back to rectify which is great.

Recently moved to London so decided to search for a Asian hair salon to get my hair properly sorted out. Jubilee came up on google search and I picked this based on the positive reviews and reasonable price. So happy with my first time visit here as the top stylist Sho is polite and very friendly, not to mention very professional. I showed him a photo which he said it’s too light for my hair, then he helped me settle on a stunning brown colour which is exactly what I’m looking for - not too bright nor too dark that doesn’t show up under normal lighting. Sho is patient and takes his time colouring and cutting my hair (even when m he has to apply colours to my hair twice as the colours don’t cover my entire hair at the first time). My friends all compliment on my new hair colour and style, I will definitely make this my go-to salon! 🙂

Kumhee cut my hair beautifully and really quickly as well. When I asked her for advice on a low-maintenance short hair, she explained what she would do accurately and proceeded promptly. Let’s start all the way from the online booking process. It’s a bit hidden so you might have to look for it but after that it’s smooth sailing, you can choose what you are planning to get, which hairdresser you want and the total price attached to it. After that you pay a deposit and you are all ready. It was my first time at this hair salon and also my first time getting a perm. I’m an Asian guy with fine short/medium hair. My hair dresser was a very meticulous and attentive lady named Seonjin. She was extremely professional through the whole experience. She analysed my hair from all angles found out what type of hair I had and when I told her I wanted a perm along with some pictures of what I wanted she advised me on because my hair is fine and a bit short it wouldn’t turn out exactly like the photo but that’s understandable. Instead she gave me a perm that was perfectly suited for my hair and head shape. Seonjin Used different sized rods for different sections of my head which I believe is part of the reason it turned out so well since parts of my hair are different lengths. I cannot stress enough how good this experience was for me and highly recommended you to try jubilee hair salon.

First time getting my hair cut in London and had a fantastic experience with Seonjin. I wanted a lot of layers and side bangs and she was extremely meticulous in her process before she even started cutting. She analyzed all different angles and compared my hair to photos of what I wanted. During the cut she was very detailed and careful and gave me an excellent cut. I've been to a lot of hairdressers (including several that specialize in Asian hair) in my life and this was one of (if not *the*) the best "first cuts" I've had. Highly recommend Seonjin!

After reading through multiple reviews, her bio on the official website and based on availability, I booked a Gents Cut & Blow-dry for Medium Length Hair with Yuka. As I have an odd head shape and go for an Asian (Korean specifically) haircut, I’ve not had much luck with barbers and hairdressers in the U.K. except for one guy who I’ve worked with to get the cut right for over about a year. However, after patiently looking at some photos of the haircut I wanted, Yuka absolutely nailed it first time! I never felt like my hair was being damaged at any point, and she was very efficient and speedy with the haircut. I also really like that Jubilee washed your hair after the haircut as well as before, and the hygiene and cleanliness was perfect. Moreover the service was excellent, especially Yuka, who was really fun to talk to and quite lovely. I definitely recommend her and this salon for anyone otherwise struggling to get an Asian haircut done. The only improvement I could suggest is to check a couple of times during the cut with the client to ensure you understand what they want. Luckily for me all the lengths and ratios were perfect. Also, the prices are quite high (£45 for mine), however it is 100% worth it if you are prepared to pay! Thank you Yuka!

I don’t normally leave reviews, but this salon certainly deserves one. I’ve been visiting this salon for over 5 years, back when it was originally located in Tottenham Court Road and John and the team have always been friendly and welcoming. My go to stylist is the very skilled & talented KumHee, but when there have been occasions when she’s not been available, John has always stepped in to cover in her absence and just like her, I’m always pleased with the results. Another mention is Yuka. Although I’ve only had her services once, the results were just as good! Overall, I highly recommend paying a visit to this salon as you’ll definitely be looked after by the friendly professional team there.

I have been in search of a hair salon ever since my hairdresser left to go back to his home country. I read the reviews for Jubilee Hair Salon, which seemed pretty alright, so decided to give it a go a few weeks ago. I managed to get my appointment booked by email, which was quite efficient, and was told i will be seen by Katie. She was absolutely lovely, and very friendly. Main thing was, she delivered quality service, and was able to provide me with a hair cut that i actually liked! My colleagues, friends and family have been giving me compliments ever since. I will definitely go back there again, location is good, staff are friendly, but although it is slightly pricey but overall still a thumbs up!

I was looking for a place that cut very straight Asian hair and was not disappointed! Hyun cut my hair, I showed his a photo of my old hair style and he did a great job! He washed my hair before and after the cut, blow dry and styled it really well too. These people are really really good. Although it’s a bit of distance from where I live I always have to come back here to do my hair. If you have Asian hair I would highly recommend getting cut/perm/colour here, they know what they are doing. As for today- I’ve always wanted a silver colour in my hair and finally got it done today, Kosuke did an amazing job, he was very patient and explained everything well. he bleached my hair three times and put in the perfect colour and my hair still looks healthy. I’ve heard so many people saying bleaching ruins hair but I don’t feel like my hair is particularly damaged at all. It was an overall very good experience I would highly recommend if you are considering getting your hair lighter(blond/silver/pink etc.)

I had a lovely long-bob haircut done by Aiko! Prior to this my sister also had a haircut with her and the good results convinced me to come back for my own hair. Aiko really listened to what I asked for and gave her own inputs on anything I wasn't sure about. I just came out from my first appointment at Jubilee hairdressers with Yoshi and words cannot describe how impressed I am with the incredible service and the outstanding results she gave me! The salon is very clean, equipment and products are to a high standard, the staff are very kind, hospitable, efficient and most of all, the patience and care that Yoshi put into my hair to give me exactly what I wanted, by far exceeded my expectations (a layered styled cut and perfect golden blend colour for beliage with Asian brown hair)! She was very patient and even pre-treated a lock of my hair with the sample colour to ensure I was happy before proceeding. Great central location and helpful service. They listen to customers and work with them to help to create fantastic haircuts and styling. This works especially well when I bring a picture of the style I want to try. They never dissppoint me and the styles they create always look better than the picture! I got my hair bleached and dyed here and, as someone whose hair is quite hard to lighten, Seon Jin did an amazing job of achieving the hair colour I wanted. The price was better than other salons (cost the same as just bleaching my hair would at Toni and Guy). The staff were all welcoming and it was overall a great experience.

Her cuts have never disappointed, and her schedule is busy! last minute appts are so rare and I often have to wait at least a week to see her, so advance booking required. I been meaning to write a review for this place for quite some time since i been coming here since the business relocated from their previous Tottenham court road location. Always disappointed with the service and attention to detail from other Asian salons based in Chinatown, Jubilee has never let me down in these requirements. As mentioned by many others, they specialise in Asian hair and they do it so well. My go to guy is Hongsik but have used Kosuke in the past as well. Both are amazing, so meticulous and careful with their work. Also they are patient and will make suggestions to help get the best cut suitable for your taste. Never been let down so far and definitely worth every penny!
