I'm in love with my new hair! Zofija is great - she is very skillful and friendly, knew what to do and kept me informed throughout the whole process. I had a full head balayage with toner and a blowdry and cut. The colour looks expensive and my hair feels soft - she made sure not to damage it. I would highly recommend this salon.

Jerry did a wonderful Brazilian blow dry on my messy, thick and frizzy Asian hair. I've regularly had my hair coloured copper with Claudia. She is one of the best colourists I've come across in and outside of London, and that's for 3 reasons; 1. She is an artist. Claudia totally understands and owns colour theory, how you hair will look in different lights, what colour it will be when it fades, when it washes etc. She mixes colours to perfection. 2. She's an expert. Claudia is incredibly knowledgeable in the science of hair colouring- how it binds to different hair types, how it reacts with heat, washing and what product is needed for each unique application. 3. Claudia explains everything! If you want a massive colour change she'll explian why that might not be able to be done in one sitting, but exactly how she will get you there and she will do it prioritising the health of your hair. You'll never have a moment sitting with her where you end up with something you hadn't discussed and expected. I've had an awesome copper journey with her so far! If you want an expert who will respect your hairs health and give you an amazing colour, go to Claudia.

I’ve never been happier with my hair than I am right now! Molly is THE BEST! As a person and as a stylist, she’s just amazing. She explained things for me in a way that didn’t make me feel silly for not knowing what to do with my hair, and she kept me a part of the entire process. I had one of the nicest experiences with Claudia Sofia. We spent the whole day on my hair together, she was so attentive and kind. She surpassed my expectations and you can tell she is really passionate about what she does, but also she connects well with her clients which is so important. I had a great experience at Live True. As a tourist in the city, I spent a long time trying to figure out the best place to have my balayage done in London. I decided on coming here and was lucky enough to have Claudia @brushedbyclauds for my appointment! She was so sweet, very communicative, and explained the whole process to me as we went. I was so delighted with the final result, although I don’t have great before/after photos because I was there at night and they have a purple-blueish light filling the salon (who’s idea was that?). The prices are very reasonable given the high level of service, and probably less than I would have paid at a comparable salon back in the US! SOHO BRANCH 15/6/22 - 1700H Appointment I selected services in their website that I would like before coming to the salon because they have 50% off promo and also had a patch test 3 days before my appointment. The total of my selected services which I also had a copy that they sent through email was £178 but then the total amount of what I really paid was £231. I was not informed of the additional prices (breakdown) but my hair turned out fine (hopefully even after few days). We ended at 9pm and it was their closing time so it was a bit of rush in the end. But my stylist was accommodating and kind, thank you! ☺️

When she was in South Africa she used to be my hairstylist then she moved to London and of course I booked a flight all the way to London just for her to do my hair! Red clearly has an exceptional grasp of all hair types based on his portfolio of other projects and knew exactly what to do with mine. His technique was top notch, from head massage to blow drying to create a natural curl. I visited this salon just over a week ago, wanting to get my hair dyed (but I knew my hair was in bad shape so I asked for a consultation first). The consultation was given by Andres and he was really helpful in telling me what we could do for my hair. After cutting and bleaching a strand of my hair it was clear we couldn’t bleach it any more, which I was told on the phone less than an hour later. I then booked in for a repair treatment which Andres also provided. I’ve never had a hairdresser as knowledgeable as him and I couldn’t recommend him and this salon enough. His advice has really helped my hair feel like it’s a lot healthier and I’m also very glad they took the time to decide whether my hair could withstand dying it again - it shows they actually care about keeping your hair to a good standard rather than just worrying about getting money.

Update: I have now also had the pleasure of having my hair coloured by Claudia Sofia who was absolutely brilliant! I felt completely at ease in her masterful hands - she understood what I wanted and created the most gorgeous colour using various techniques. She also took great care to ensure my hair was not damaged in the process and I walked out feeling like a million bucks! Annabel is nothing short of phenomenal. She is incredibly skilled in balayage with the most beautiful blending technique, as well as being a total joy to spend three hours with! Gianmarco was absolutely amazing. I came with an idea, but he carefully looked at my hair and he suggested me something similar, that could highlight the shape of my face. Since I have curly hair the haircut that I had in my mind wasn’t suitable for me. I did a drastic change but I trusted Gianmarco, and the result was incredible. We had a quick chat about what I wanted to do, went through inspiration and expectation. She outlined what we were going to do for our session. The whole process was very streamlined. Claudia was very meticulous and patient. She explained to me what we were doing every step of the way. Her calm demeanour kept me very at ease throughout the 5 hour appointment! The job was so well done that Claudia’s colleagues came by to comment on how nice the results were. Then came the final reveal! I am certain that my hair has never looked better. THE MOST AMAZING SERVICE! I was running a few minutes late to my appointment but I called them and they were totally cool with it and still got seen by the stylist. I had a consultation a few weeks prior to my colour appointment and Red went through everything very thoroughly, you could tell he was passionate about his work. He answered every question I had and recommended me other treatments aswell such as Olaplex. I had a full head of foliage balayage done by Red and he was amazing, he made me feel so comfortable and I felt totally confident getting my hair done by him. I showed him pictures of what I wanted and he achieved it amazingly! The colour was spot on and the cut is lovely. I’m completely in love with my hair! I feel so confident and would 100% recommend him and this hair salon to everyone else! The online booking system was really easy to use aswell. 10/10

I’ve been to this salon a few times now and I’m so happy that Jerry was my hairdresser the first time I went! Been back twice for a haircut and another for full head balayage and the man is a genius, especially with Asian hair. He explained every step and why he was doing what which I really appreciated and for the 19 years I’ve been in the UK, this is the best haircut/colour I’ve had. Unfortunately this wasn't a good experience for me. My hair stylist called Glenesa was not friendly or welcoming at all. She made me feel uncomfortable, and seemed like she didn't care about what she was doing, very unprofessional. She struggled to get my hair even, I had to ask her to re do it multiple times, when we finished she just walked off, didn't even say goodbye or a word. This is upsetting especially when I saw other stylist being friendly with their clients, lovely salon though just a shame my experience wasn't what I was expecting due to picking wrong stylist.

The level of attention and detail given to the process - from choosing the perfect colour that complemented my skin tone and features, to working on / blending every section of hair meticulously to give the highlights dimension, to possibly my favourite cut ever- was next level. Mike is someone who really cares about their work, and listens carefully to what you want. You can tell from the results that he takes real pride in what he does. I visited the salon and my high expectations were surpassed. They have brilliant facilities and the staff are friendly from the get go, they made me feel safe with mask wearing and it just felt like a really wonderful atmosphere. Jerry was my hair colourist and stylist and my word can the man work miracles. I've been to many colourist throughout my lifetime and have always been a bit disappointed with the orange undertone that other people couldn't lift or tone, but not Jerry he got it straight away and worked later than his hours to ensure my hair was how I wanted it. Live True Soho truly exceeded my expectations! Thank you so much for such a great experience & performing such a great colour correction! I came to the salon with hair that had recently been scalp bleached (accidentally) grey-blue-blonde, and then corrected back to my natural very dark brown shade. Other salons, understandably, said that my hair was very damaged and would snap off if I tried to dye it back blonde, and did not want to gently attempt to dye it blonde. Konstantin has saved my hair & I walked out with healthier, shiner *and* blonder hair! I did not expect my hair to be my dream shade of blonde so quickly and in one sitting and to achieve this with highlights! He was careful to apply the foils and dye it not too strongly and to keep checking my hair in the process to ensure that the process was going smoothly. This shows that you can go blonde from brunette, and it can look healthy and it can look natural (blended with roots) - but it requires patience and skill from the hairdresser! I really recommend Konstantin for helping you achieve your hair goals. Thank you Konstantin again for saving my hair and making me blonde again!
