I’ve been going to this salon for the past 3 years and the customer service here is just immaculate. The staff are so welcoming, accommodating and I have always left with a smile on my face. It has taken me such a long time to find the perfect hairdresser and I’m just so happy I came across this place! Lorena is amazing at what she does and never disappoints. I always receive complements for my hair and many of my friends and family have booked here because they are just so amazed at how talented she is. Lorena is also such a lovely person to talk to, she understand my hair very well and makes me feel very comfortable thought. I can’t imagine myself ever booking anywhere else other than at Live True London.

I have just walked out with the best hair that I’ve ever experienced, all thanks to Daniel at Live True Vauxhall. After months of deliberation, I finally plucked up the courage to have a colour to fix the multi-coloured skunk look that was going on with my hair due to a combination of grown out henna and sun bleaching. It was not a great look and needed fixing! After a colour consultation with Daniel and showing him what I had in mind, he made first of all made sure that my hair could take any form of colour treatment due to the henna and then he WORKED….HIS….MAGIC!! To say that I feel like a new person is an understatement!! Even before he took the scissors to my hair it already looked like a million dollars, but the cut and blow dry just finished off his bespoke creation. I’ve already received so many compliments on how amazing my hair looks. Thank you Daniel, you’ve restored my confidence! I haven’t found a hairdresser that I’ve been happy with in how they cut my hair until I found him. The attention to detail and time and care paid to it was second to none. I booked my appointment while a half price colouring offer was on and now I won't be getting my hair cut anywhere else. I've really struggle to find somewhere that can cope with my mixed curl pattern and Natalia really knew what she was talking about, she fixed the lackluster cut I'd had else where and the colour, oh my god. I contacted Live True London as I had found their page on Instagram and loved their balayage work. As it was my first time to ever get my hair dyed and before my wedding, I was slightly concerned however I was reassured by Live True and they had advised me on balayage colourists that specialise in the colour and style I was looking for. I felt confident after my consultation with Lorena and she even made sure the colour was right at my appointment so that by the time my wedding had occurred my hair colour would be at its best! I cannot recommend Livetrue London Vauxhall enough. I went in for hair colouring as my old colour looked quite brassy, and for a new hair cut. Daniel coloured and styled it and he managed to give me exactly the colour and haircut that I wanted, without me having to explain it at all! Actually I think he knew more what colour style would fit me than I did, which is great. He has an incredible eye for colours, and also what haircut suits your face, so I can really recommend him 100% :) I was there for 4 hours, but the time went by quickly, everyone was very nice, and the salon very clean :)

The best hairdressing experience I’ve had. After a year or so of letting my hair recover after a disastrous round of bleaching, I decided to try Live True London, as I’d heard good things about their hair styling and balayage services. Becca did such an amazing job colouring my hair, she really took her time, and made sure I was happy. I went in for a standalone Olaplex treatment with Danielle. It was incredible!! My hair was so soft afterwards, although after the first wash it didn't stay as soft. However it's still worth it in my opinion. Danielle gives a great hair wash and head massage. Amazing treatment and great staff if your hair is in need of a little pick me up!

I really recommend Lucy, what an excellent job today! After years of having dark brown hair I was trying to come back to my natural ashy blond/brown colour, I went to few salons and got my hair lighter but only Lucy made it so close to my natural colour so I can finally forget about doing roots! I received a shellac manicure and pedicure. The manicure was so painful I had hang nails on every single finger. The shellac was chipped and pealing withing 2 days. On one nail the whole layer was lifting. I return ed and complained . The work was inspected and the shellac was immediately removed and replaced. It was completed to a much better standard. This is is why I give 3 stars instead of 1. I would return but be mindful of who does my nails.

This salon is great for nails, eyebrows and waxing services. After 4 years I've decided to stop coming for my hair appointments. I always get overcharged for services I didn't ask for or consent to such as Olaplex. The salon looks a bit tired and dirty. I've never once been offered a drink. And despite going for 4 years, the staff always think it's my first visit. The staff turnover has increased in the last year I've not loved the results I've had in recent visits.

I've been going to Live True London (previously known as Gro) for the past 3 years and I can't recommend it enough. Every time I go they greet me with a smile, there's a great chilled out vibe, my hair feels really healthy and I always leave feeling pampered. It's on the steep side of salons but definitely worth the treat :) I always go with Paco who does the best colouring ever. I'm quite conservative so I tend to go for a blondish balayage and often get compliments from all the girls at work. Yesterday I was feeling a bit adventurous so I asked Paco for a rose gold balayage and I absolutely love it. I've attached some pics from different times I've got my hair done by Paco at this salon over the years in case it helps to see some results. If you are thinking of going, give it a go. You won't be disappointed!

The salon is well set up following covid19 guidelines too with temperature checks on arrival, hand sanitiser readily available and each chair spaced out with perspex inbetween. Highly recommend.

I cannot tell you enough about this salon, absolutely amazing results, I am extremely picky with who I let touch my hair, every-time I go to Live True London, any of the branches I always receive the upmost care and results. So far Vauxhall has been my favourite because my hair stylist has similar hair to me although that doesn’t really matter it’s so helpful to me because we can share tips! My hair is so hard to manage with all the frizz and Lorena makes it so easy. Also my colour this is why I love my stylist, she knows what I want and how I want it!! Had the most amazing experience at the hair salon! My stylist was Joe, one of the nicest people I’ve ever met, he listened to me, asked me what I wanted and gave me the perfect hair result. I went in for balayage, highlights and a haircut. They were all done beautifully. I couldn’t have been happier with the result. I was in the salon for 4 hours and was taken care of so well. I went to Live True Vauxhall for the first time in November 2018 for my first balayage and I have been going back there every few months ever since. My hairdresser Lorena creates the best balayage I have ever seen and I’ve never been more happy with the way my hair looks. My hair is naturally very dark and I was previously worried about making it much lighter, but it is now blonder than I ever expected and I have the exact look I want. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do my hair now and it is definitely worth spending slightly more money, as I am always happy with the results. I love going to this salon, all the staff are so friendly and I will never go anywhere else!! I don’t live local to London and I travel nearly 2 hours every visit but it is 100% worth it. I was also impressed with the new social distancing in place in the salon, and I felt very relaxed being in there.

This is my 4th time coming to Live True Vauxhall, having come for the first time due to a 50% off voucher. It’s not the closest salon to me at all (I live in Borough) but I’ve kept coming back as I’ve had such a good experience with Clarissa cutting and colouring my hair! There’s nothing better than having the stylist actually listen to your idea and making it amazing, rather than trying to do what THEY like. For example I like to have my fringe quite short and I’ve had so many hairdressers in the past telling me that having it longer and half over my eyes is the fashionable style, but Clarissa always makes it look great and asks me every time whether the length is right. She has also absolutely nailed my balayage on two different occasions, both the colour and style! The first one lasted over a year! For this visit the salon was also clearly following social distancing and hygiene guidelines which made me feel nice and safe. I would say the only con with Live True is it’s quite expensive, so I do have to space out my appointments to justify spending. But there are options such as a discount when you rebook and the new client offer.

This was my second time here because I had a good experience the first time. The hairdresser this time was also nice. If the hair cut didn’t cost £63 I probably wouldn’t have written this review, as it was an alright hair cut. But it certainly was not worth the money. I left thinking I can’t get home to fix the fringe myself. The blow drying wasn’t professional. I had to stand up to have the hair cut, which I really didn’t mind, but no adjustable chairs?! In covid times, it was way too stuffy and humid indoors, with no ventilation. I did convey my concern to staff but it seemed there wasn’t much they could do about it as i was told they couldn’t keep the doors open. I am not sure if the visit was worth the risk... I will try my luck elsewhere else next time.

This salon it's a good place to get your haircut and colour done. I have been going to Live True Vauxhall for the last 2 years and it has always been a fantastic experience. I had my haircut done with diffent stylist, all of them extremely professional and lovely. I booked an appointment earlier this week for a haircut but ended up with a look that I'm extremely unhappy with. I, therefore, contacted their customer support and requested another appointment with Joe because of all the great reviews people left for him on Google. This second appointment was out of my expectation. Joe is exceptional when it comes to his technique, patience, attention to details, welcoming attitude and willingness to listen to customers. He was able to trim my hair to exactly as what I wanted. We also had a fun conversion during the entire hour. The salon has a very lovely ambiance and overall great service. But if you are a first-timer like me, highly recommend no one but Joe, especially if you have straight Asian hair like me! :)

Got my hair done on the 1st day of the lockdown easing. The haircut, blow-dry and toning was a good quality, I really liked it. BUT the experience was spoilt by a couple of things (this should be addressed by the management) 1. I bought a voucher to haircut and blow dry that gives you 45% off. When I came to pay for the service the receptionist seemed to be ‘unaware’ of the voucher despite the fact that the ads on FB were running since late March. She then asked me to pay a portion of the service I already paid for..which was frustrating and uncomfortable. Eventually it all settled but it took ages and I could see bitter face of the receptionist 2. They were quite unorganized with the booking. I was supposed to attend at 8:30, then just a day before I got a call about them only able to make it at 9:30. I was only seen after 10...the management should make sure that they book services such that there is enough time for the staff to finish their work.

I have thick, long, wavy hair and prior to meeting Paco, I always worried about booking in to have my hair cut or coloured as I’ve had some awful experiences over the years. He is truly an expert at managing thick long hair so I would highly recommend to see him if you worry like I did! Every time Paco does my hair, he explains everything clearly, gives me advice and guidance on what would suit me and ALWAYS leaves me with a fantastic result. He pays attention to detail and truly knows his stuff. I often see him in the salon training new staff and giving his expertise to other stylists. I am always inundated with compliments after I’ve been to see Paco and sometimes even get to feature on his Instagram page @pacolatorre which is a real honour. I couple of months ago I discovered by chance the Live True salon in Vauxhall and got into the hands of the stylist Paula. After an initial consultation we agreed to change my hairstyle slightly and I have been very happy since then. Paula is such a great positive person, skilful and takes her time to deliver a good cut, not just rushing through it. Plus she provides the most amazing headmassage which always sends me into deep relaxation..., A nice salon overall with a relaxed ambience, easy to use online appointment system, I can only highly recommend this place and especially Paula.

I have been having my hair done by Myra for a couple of years now and she has completely re-styled my look and colour, allowing me to achieve the flowy curls I've always wanted. I used to find my naturally curly hair hard to style and wear down with ease but with Myra's cuts I'm now able to do this with minimal effort - pretty much wash and wear with the right shampoo. Myra has also given me wonderful colour, turning my black hair to caramel hues which still look natural - an almost golden colour. On dark hair, you can often find blonde highlights which initially look / fade to a yellow colour and look unnatural - definitely not the case with Myra!! Every hair colour experience has been beautiful. Even when it turned out slightly darker on the first try, Myra was very happy to welcome me back and lighten it up free of charge (of course the first time can be tricky for any colourist as it's the first time you can really see how the colour is going to be absorbed so discretion is necessary!) However, once Myra knows your hair, there is no going back and beautiful results are absolutely always on the cards!! She understood exactly what i wanted (even though i didn't know how to explain myself 😅), made me feel super comfortable during the 4 hours i was there and the end result was fabulous! They're very strict on the covid-19 measures, had to wait outside the store until my appointment time (there's seating outside), all customers were spaced out with a one way system in place and i had to wear a mask throughout my whole treatment. All the staff had face visors on, it's good to know that they're taking it all seriously and thinking about safety first. I'll definietly be back!

I had a great experience at Live True London at their Vauxhall branch. Everything was very organised in the lead up to my appointment, including the patch test I needed to go in for before the appointment. Clarissa was the great hair stylist who my appointment was with, and she listened carefully and advised knowledgeably around what colour would work well, especially as I'd dyed my hair myself beforehand. Their COVID measures in the salon were also reassuring, there were suitable dividers between work stations, and all stylists wore visors, and customers all wore masks. I arrived at 6pm, and left at 9pm, but the time doesn't surprise me as each stage needs time to work properly to achieve the best results of the balayage, toner and Olaplex, that Clarissa highly recommended. I'm really happy with the results, it's a super fresh blonde look that pops, and is summery too. The only reason I've given 4 stars is just because of the pricing, but I know this is unavoidable in this day and age. Overall, I highly recommend Live True and Clarissa, she was a talented and considerate hair stylist 😊💁🏻‍♀️ Thank you! You'll be able to see the before and after photos in this review.
