I've been coming here regularly for the last couple of years, and this was my first time back since the revamp. Easily the best barbers experience I've had. Micheal was great with my hair, working with me to make sure I was as happy as possible with the length and shape. First time as well having a beard shape/trim and couldn't be happier with the result after a couple of years of trying myself at home. Complimentary coffee and water offered when I arrived to a meticulously clean and attractive new look for the shop.

EDIT/UPDATE Having been a regular here for the past several months it was a nice surprise to visit today to see the shop has new owners who have revamped the inside while still retaining the charm of that rustic look, Edison bulbs etc. Still offering complimentary drinks while you wait etc. Had my beard sorted by Tony, who did a great job, first time I have had it down where they kept the length I always ask for but never got. Was never a deal breaker as it always looked good but still was nice. Fantastic, friendly service, professional job, great team. Though I'll miss my regular guy will be more than happy to stick with these guys, really nice atmosphere, chilled music, nice setting, even have a gaming arcade table to keep you entertained! If you haven't been yet, get yourself down!

The shop definitely has a welcoming feeling. The shop’s layout, aesthetics and the service were all on point. I was specifically cut by Jan who was very friendly and professional at the same time. There were certain remarks, like “sir”, that creates the DNA of the barbershop and Jan embodied it. He was welcoming and engaging. The haircut was on point and exactly what I wanted - Jan took onboard customer criteria and definitely executed the job well. Well done to him! I would definitely go back and I shall be asking for Jan when it comes to my future haircuts. Outstanding service - certainly recommend trying the service for any gentleman🤝

Just went today before lockdown. I’m new to the area so done a quick Google search. The barber shop feels very warm and cosy. The staff are extremely polite. One of the staff members called Jay cut my hair, he done a really good job and understood exactly what I wanted.

Great place for a trim, Jay is the best barber around, always does me a great cut. Recently upped their customer service too offer drinks, teas and coffees. Great guy easy to talk to and also knows when you just want a cut and to relax. Highly recommend the hot towel treatment makes you feel extremely relaxed and feel so fresh leaving the barbers. Get yourself a down there!

This is a fantastic place to get one of the best haircuts you'll ever have. The space is trendy and well done with a lot of nice touches that make it feel like a very premium place. I was desperate to find a new Barbour in West Kensington after being let down by my previous one.. happened to walk by the Grooming Cave was firstly impressed by the design and cleanliness of the shop.. at first was very nervous to try somewhere new as I’ve got very difficult hair to cut, also having had a hair transplant with a scar at the back. Jay was very professional and listen to my concerns he instantly relaxed me.. spend time with me to guarantee a perfect cut. Which he did! I can see he has real passion for what he does also .. I am now a regular client and visit every 2-3 weeks. I recommendations to a friend who enjoys going also! Regular customers receive a loyalty card too!! 👍🏼💯

I've had the same hairstyle for a decade until The Grooming Cave suggested a different style for me. Something a little trendier that matched my occupation as a designer. Such a great experience. The owner is super friendly, skilled, and passionate about hair design. I also invested in my first ever hot shave, probably the highest level of trust I've given another person in 20 years, and almost fell asleep in the chair. It's a face massage combined with a shave and full grooming experience. Honestly can't recommend that experience enough. Extremely satisfied, a very positive experience for me. I went on a Sunday at lunch time, so that the guy there (I had asked him the name to put it in the review but have forgotten it by now - mea culpa!) could take his time with me. Extreme attention while cutting, not rushing as most of the barbers do today. Perfect result in the end. Seeing this I also asked to do something about my beard which was out of control, and I know it can be difficult to tackle. But also there, super good service, even got a nice hot towel on my face which helped me relax and made the skin smooth. Will definitely return here and can recommend it.

Let me say, I never take the time to do reviews of any product or service. My experience here warrants it and I want to encourage any one who wants an outstanding hair cut or beard trim to go to this here. Appearance is important and we have to live with our haircuts for some time after. I always am dispointed with hair cuts and beard trims and feel nervous each time that I will walk out feel after and be anxious that my appearance is just not how I want it to be. Also, it often seems the barber pays little attention to my wants and lacks the technical know-how and creative vision to style and cut in an appealing way. Let me say, Jay is the single best barber I have ever met by far. He is clearly deticated to his profession. He has incredible skill and a very on spot sense of style and vision to his work. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed and I immidiately knew I was in good hands. He listened attentively to my needs and then clearly and carefully explained his approach. This let me know he was both thoughtful and understanding. He went to work and we had a nice conversation. He finished the hair and it was spot on, exactly as I had wanted. He started with the beard and again finished it better than I have ever seen. While he was working, I noticed at least four repeat customers walk in. Clearly I am not the only on blown away by his work and wish to return again and again. The cut and style took very little time, and the nice conversation, great atmosphere and good vibe all around made it a very pleasant experience. Finally, the prices were just as they should be, affordable value. This is something you can and will afford to return to again and again to make yourself look and feel great. I recommend it to everyone looking for a fantastic experience and the best in male grooming in London.

Excellent service! Highly recommended! This was my third time going to the Grooming Cave and I've been served exceptionally from both Natasha and Jay. I highly suggest anyone to give it a go and then you'll be extremely happy with the final outcome. Professional, friendly and approachable are some of the characteristics I would say for both of them. I've previously tried another four barber shops in Hammersmith area and I was hugely disappointed as they didn't pay attention in detail. I decided to try the Grooming Cave as it had great reviews and the first time I went I was very satisfied as they did actually pay attention in detail and they spent some time for the haircut. Great service, environment and reasonable price. See you next time!
