I go to Mane event regularly to have my hair cut. They are the friendliest, cleanest, most professional barbers/hairdressers I've ever visited and I've visited many both here and abroad. Their prices are also reasonable. Very highly recommended.

Mane Event is both a great hairdressing studio and a proper hub for the Stockwell community. A fabulous cut by Joyce. Memo always with a warm welcome and pretty. Somewhere with old fashion values but on trend styles. Travelled from Liverpool and have travelled from further afield many times. Consistently good quality cuts.

I have been a regular customer of Mane Event hairdressers for over ten years. Even when I used another hairdressers, I ended up coming back to Mane Event. Their customer service is outstanding and has a personal touch. They always do a great job when cutting and colouring my hair. Their prices are very reasonable and I highly recommend this hairdressers. They really take the time to listen to what you want, will not advise any treatments that would damage your hair and the staff make me feel very welcome and comfortable. All of the staff are very friendly and make me a lovely cup of tea :)

The best hairdresser in London!! Initially I started going to Mane Event because it was close to home and I continue going there even now that I live further away. Mehmet, Sergey, Joyce and the team are not only top professionals, but also a genuinely warm bunch of people that put a smile on your face. I’m always excited to get a haircut as it feels like I’m going to see friends. Plus, I am never nervous about the outcome and always get compliments afterwards, which are the best indicators of a great hairdresser!

I'm very particular with how my hair gets cut and who cuts it. Which is why for the last decade, only one person cuts my hair, and I've only been going here. When Mehmet recommends someone else in the shop to do it instead of him, I trust his judgement. Colour consultations? He's honest and friendly and will give you sound advice. The shop has a real family feel and regulars feel like a part of that family too. If it's your first visit, just tell them and what you want done. I cannot recommend this place enough.

I Just had another fantastic haircut , always friendly and polite , I recommend to all of you 👍... I was there again recently and again great service I recommend all you to call in a book before hand due to the new rules on social distancing , remember to support your local 😉

The man cutting my hair was very lovely and professional. He made sure to be careful and not knock my newly pierced helix piercing. My hair was cut exactly how I wanted it and I loved it. He also gave me beachy waves which I thought was impossible for me to achieve as I have always failed with my stubborn Asian hair. These waves have also lasted all day which I've never experienced before as usually curls go flat after a few hours for me. For reference : a hairwash, haircut, blow-dry and curling was £35 which is very reasonable. However I must include that I never asked for a curling, and specifically said "haircut only" so I spent more than I intended to.
