What can I say. If you’re still thinking about going, BOOK your appointment! The loveliest stylists I’ve ever met, professional to the core and able to handle any hair texture. They are in the hair CARE as well as styling business. I have a history of distrust with hair stylists. But Mebu is officially my stylist and I aim to make my appointments monthly. I came across Mebu Salon through Instagram after seeing some of the videos she had posted on her page and to say I was amazed would be an understatement. So I definitely wanted to book an appointment! I honestly was so scared when I got there for my appointment as I've never allowed a salon or anyone other than my mum touch my hair. I travelled all the way from Chingford to Mebu and I am sooooo glad I did! The owner is lovely! She really does look after you from the moment you arrive until you leave! The other ladies who work along side her are brilliant aswell! All very polite and welcoming 🙏🏽 I am so happy with my hair and I've had so many compliments. A hidden gem! 10/10 Afro silk hair press along with a cut for £60. A one stop salon using good quality products with friendly and welcoming staff. It's very hard to find a special service like this elsewhere, in my experience. I am very thankful and happy with my hair do and hair treatment from Mebu. I was looking for a hairdresser in August 2020 when I walked into Mebu Hair & Beaty Salon on Stockwell Rd in London SW9 9PY. I met Mebu herself, my hair was extremely damaged, and she recommended Keratin and deep treatment, with trim to quickly regain my hair growth. Unbelievable, my hair grew with volume, and I was back at the salon today, November 11th for another treatment of Keratin protein. I also got color that perfectly blends with my skin. I asked for a surprise and she gave it to me! The whole team were amazing! I went to mebus because my hair was in serous need of some TLC. I have 3a type curls and I needed up bleaching my hair and adding baby highlights to it at mebus. My hair was completely virgin black hair and Mebu was able to get me to ash blonde with hardly any hair damage! I had a olaplex 1 and 3 treatment for bleached hair and ash grey toner added, then finally silk pressed my hair. The silk press lasts be about 1- 2 weeks which is very long! At other sailing my hair frizzes up after 2 days. I would highly recommend this salon. Thank you mebu & the team x

I’ve been coming here for years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else, Mebu is an excellent hair colourist and works her magic with scissors, uses top quality but gentle products followed by nourishing treatments. She is very knowledge about different hair types, even tricky ones like mine (soft and sensitive curls prone to frizz) and she takes time to make sure you are happy.

My cousin recommended Mebu as I needed a new hairdresser. My hair which is between 4B and 4C was slightly damaged due to chemically relaxing my hair throughout the years. Mebu recommended the hot oil treatment and hydration treatment to restore my hairs beauty. After having two treatments i have noticed how healthy and bouncy my hair is - I’m very happy.
