I have started going along to this barbers over the last few weeks, since it is closest to where I live while I work from him. I've been fortunate enough to have my hair cut by Safak each time. He is a top barber who is very relaxed and friendly and I always leave in good spirits.

By far the greatest hair cut I have ever been treated too. The service and standard of haircut is 6 stars but 5 is the most you can award. At first I was daunted by the cost as as a northerner I wasn't used to London prices. However what you got for your money was great value to an expert standard. I would thoroughly recommend this Barbers without hesitation. * * * * * *

Shout out to Safak every haircut is on point from this man. All the barbers here are top and the service is no. 1!! 3 starts because there is a strobing flashlight that needs to be changed!! Also this is one of the few places in the UK that does NOT accept card.

It takes a long time to find a barber who can consistently deliver great haircuts. Especially, if your hairline is uneven, your head shape is awkward to work with or your hair has irregular patches of thick/thin. With all of these obstacles, Gokan takes gentle care and gives me the cleanest haircut out of everywhere I’ve tried in London. I highly recommend!

Got my first hair cut at NV Barbers by Gokhan about 3 months ago, out of convenience as it was close to work. Not gone back to my local barber shop since then. The service by Gokhan is very seamless. Every haircut has been immaculate and the attention to detail is great. You get a hot towel wrap with every hair cut and shave. Keep up the good service!

Had a very good haircut by Yakub and an exceptional, classic service (including a wash before and after, facial scrub, hot towel treatment and arm & shoulder massage). All for a very good price at £26, especially given the average of other barbers in the area. Highly recommended.

Went around 10 days ago. Shout out to Taz, gave me a spicy fade and kept a good amount on top too. Sharpened up the side around the temple and beard. Honestly the best cut I've had. Service was great as well; if you wanted to stay silent they will, if you're a chatty customer then he'll talk too. Always free at lunch time if you need a midday snip. Bit spenny but if you want a £5 haircut, go to Peckham. Turkish massage was great too, just a shame there was no happy ending

Switched to NV from Jack the Clipper and it while it is always risky trusting somebody new with your hair, I’ve not regretted this decision for 2 years now! My usual barber Riza not just listens to what I want but recommends how best to work with my annoyingly thick, straight hair. All of the barbers here are very skilled and as well as the cut itself, the hot towels are super relaxing and choice of drinks are juices, beer or my favourite, Turkish coffee. If you’re stuck where to try given you’re new to the area, give NV a go! And luckily there’s another shop around the corner if it’s too busy.

Some of the reviews of NV here are hilarious. Not the best location? Had a bad haircut that day? For real? I used to live nearby for three years and these guys became my go-to. I'd never been a Barber type guy before but they turned me. I now live in France but EVERY time I go back, there is only one place I head and that's straight to old hood and NV. What's to love? Firstly, it's a proper Barber shop. They're about men's hair and grooming in a stand up way. Check em all out. These guys practice what they preach and always look smart. Next, it's the service that comes. A Turkish coffee? yes please. Full shave, massage, face treatment, massage? All part of the action. The cut? No matter which of the boys has been in charge of my head, it's always top notch and to what I ask. And that's the thing, boys are artists but still need direction to apply their formidable skills to. Ahmet - champion bloke looked after me so well. Thanks boss. It was one of the highlights of my weekend back in London, and that included a 4-1 Spurs win at Wembley! See you again soon lads.

Excellent Barbers. Very skilled Here's a big difference between this barbers and my local barbers: At NV Barbers lots of fine hairs drop during the cut. Whereas at my local barbers, clumps of hair drop during the cut. This shows the difference in skill. This difference becomes very noticeable a couple of weeks after the haircut, as your hair grows. They all seem very skilled in there, but personally I would recommend Jem, as I would describe him as the Lionel Messi of this trade!

The barber shop is welcoming, clean and there is always very little waiting time. As well as cutting hair, they provide cut-throat razor shaves, beard shaping, hot towels, waxing, ear burning!! and also a nice drink to welcome you when you get there I always get my hair done by Yakup (Jacob). He always does a stellar job, and he is a master with scissors and comb!! FYI - Cash only :) Cheers, Mits.

I visited NV barbers at great eastern street on the 05/11/18 a barber called Berkan gave me the best trim ever what an excellent service he knows what he is doing, takes his time no rush he even got rid of my ingrown hairs I'm defiantly going back again i really recommend everyone to try him, keep up the good job....
