Best most professional barber experience I’ve ever had. I will definitely be back. My barber Michael was absolutely amazing!

Clean, friendly, professional!
Great atmosphere, the barber take their time to understand what you want, give suggestions and alter the design until you’re 100% happy. Wide range of styles.
Super clean and tidy, feels super safe and comfortable!
i will definitely return . Thanks you Pankhurst team !!!!

Nice little gem hidden in a side street off Carnaby. Great client experience for the entire duration of my time at the salon. The level of service from the store manager Joann was a cut above. Having been to a number of London’s premium barbers, I can honestly say that Pankhurst is the best of the bunch. I will therefore be returning for my monthly haircut and maybe even a classic shave. The salon offers an exquisite décor, a good range of classic books and quality whiskies to enjoy while waiting. I also recommend their hair and shaving products, especially their moulding cream.

Thought the whole experience was brilliant. From the moment you walk through the door to chilling out in the lounge area was total relaxed. Zack was great, had the consultation, where i said what I was looking for, he suggested ideas based on this, made me feel totally at ease throughout and walked out a very happy person, as for the first time in about a year I felt as though I’d had a decent haircut! Which was total different experience compared to barbers I’d used that charged more in the same area.

Great haircut! Was in our London office from NYC and searching for a barber. The reviews seemed good and I was not disappointed. Great staff and Zach (Zack?) was top notch. It can be challenging to explain my mod style in NYC but Zack new exactly what I meant. We talked about Reggae, Soul, Jazz, etc. Really happy. You should go here. They get it.

What a amazing experience from the moment I walked in. I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere, was then shown down stairs where they offered me a selection of drinks. Then moments later was greeted by Lou who was very in depth an thorough with the consolation for what styles were best suited for my hair; and what Pankhurst's hair products would be best for my hair. Couldn't be happier would highly recommend it to everyone and will certainly be returning to Pankhurst London!

Best barbers in London. Staff are polite and professional but up for a chat if you want one. Great decor and surroundings and fab location just off Carnaby Street. The Bentley chairs are a nice touch and the products they use are lush. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting to get a quality cut.

I'm from the Philippines so I've only been to Pankhurst once, and that was during a trip to London back in June of 2013. It wasn't hard to make an appointment and the barbershop wasn't hard to find either. I was groomed and styled by Charlie, who was very nice, engaging, and advising. I had quite a long hairstyle by then and told him I wanted something really really short, like not to leave much of the bangs either. He decided that having something as short as I hoped wouldn't really fit my facial structure very well. In the end, he still gave me a very short haircut but leaving the top of my head fuller than I had initially intended. It turned out to be sharp and great, and earned me compliments. I also bought the Moulding Cream which is lightweight, but still has enough hold to add texture. I'll definitely go back the next time I'm in town.

Excellent experience. Highly recommend!! I invited a friend of mine who wanted a haircut to come to this place for his birthday and he loved it! He usually goes to a cheap place not far, but will be coming back here regularly now. Joanne did a fabulous job with his hair and offered him a whisky while we waited downstairs in the sitting room, which seems just like home. I thought I would stick around and was offered a lovely expresso and even my dog was welcome and offered a bowl of water. There are plenty of the regular magazines but additionally loads of interesting books to peruse while you wait as well. The staff are absolutely adorable and very professional. My friend said it was the best birthday present ever. They also do close cut shaves and massages and the products smell divine.

On entering the space I immediately felt at ease. The owner, Brent was advising a young gent about reshaping his beard with obvious care and attention to ensure the best for his client. I waited for a short time and was invited to the chair after the shave was completed. The ambience is shaped by classic wood, vintage shaving implements and contemporary but classic tunes.
I laid my head back and my grooming began.
Warm water, Pankhurst shampoo and a light but engaging conversation later and I was reborn......some have even said McQueenesque......let's face it, we all set our sights on the great man!

I've been here twice now. Both times I had a good haircut and came away feeling happy, and I love the smell of their products. The reason I can't really rate them higher is that although the shop is well presented, the basins used to wash hair look rather forgotten (both times I was in the space on the ground floor of the shop not the basement so it is that basin in particular I am thinking of). They may well have looked nice a few years ago but now they look a bit grim and grotty. Equally paying £50 for a haircut I would expect proper towels to be used to dry hair not a piece of paper towel torn from a bargain industrial roll. The staff are friendly and well-trained. Just clean up the basins, set your products round them in a neat way and get some towels.

I don't have a lot of hair left but I would never trust anyone else with it other than the barbers at Pankhurst. Have never had anything less than an immaculate hair cut from various members of the team, while the chair chat is always brilliant. Featuring chairs upholstered by Bentley and a stunningly designed speakeasy lounge out back, it's worth coming here just to hang out!

Wanted a real experience, it promised much, but really didn't deliver.
Let me qualify this by saying, I've tested out about 20 barbers in London in the last couple of years.
The lad who cut my hair, told me the same story twice about bentley barbers chairs and his boss going to USA - within the half hour haircut, no questions about who I am/ was what i was into.
Hair looks alright... but what i'm after at a barbers is experience. A gentlemen's experience.
Good chat, good vibes, good haircut.
This is my honest feedback, hope it helps.

I loved the place! A friend recommended me to Pankhurst Barbers and I went there during London Fashion Week.. I had the most amazing haircut by a chap called Stefan. It’s like stepping inside a barber shop from the 1940s. I almost expected Bogie to be in the next barber’s chair next to me.

Zach was the best barber I’ve had the pleasure of working with in all of Europe & USA. I had a very specific request and he not only obliged but made the final product better than I could have expected. He was also funny and entertaining. Give this man a raise!

Super cool barbershop and shave joint in hip space in cool Carnaby. Ask for Louie, but you can't go wrong with anyone there.

Excellent service, and decor - however, I went there for a not inexpensive blade shave and was cut to ribbons. The cologne is excellent, their signature scent is based on rum and lime I believe. But it's not worth the blood loss.

I received a very good haircut in nice surroundings and an attentive hairdresser. She fully understood what I wanted and I was delighted with the results. Recommended.

Really enjoyed getting a wet shave by adam at pankhurst, great area and a brilliantly set out shop. The whole experience with the bentley chairs and the whiskey made it a great afternoon!
