Julie Harper is truly the best colorist I’ve ever had. I come from LA and have been to some “great” salons but truly no one is able to capture the color I want. She creates such a great environment. I never feel intimidated or stressed about going in. I truly feel relaxed, accepted and heard. I want to make a small tweak and she does it so well! And if you wanna get the best haircut of your life, go see Matilda. If you wanna change your hairdresser or just visiting London, you have to come in. My hair has never been better.

I have been seeing Julie for a while now upon recommendation from my friends. Julies colour knowledge and service is incredible. She really listens to exactly what you're looking for but also advises on what she thinks would be best for you and your hair type. She takes her time to really get to know you and your needs which makes for a really enjoyable experience. I've also had my hair cut by Lizzie who is equally amazing! All of the staff at Paul Edmonds are so lovely, i'm always looking forward to my next visit!

Paul Edmonds inherited me as a client as I have been a loyal client of their colourist, Julie for more than 10 years. Julie is the only person I trust to colour my hair, I'm very particular (fussy!) about the colour and particularly the tone of my blonde hair. Julie listens to what I want, she remembers my history, knows what I like, advises me and gives me confidence to change things up a bit when I feel like it. I'm also not joking when I say she gives the best head massage ever - if you're lucky enough to get her at the hair washing station! I always feel so looked after when I go to the salon - you get treated like royalty - the drinks menu is endless! Not to mention the delicatessen next door where you can buy a really delicious lunch! x

I have been to the salon several times for blonde hair highlights with Julie Harper, and to say that she is amazing is to say nothing. All blonde girls will know how important and difficult it is to find a good specialist, and Julie has been excellent. The colour is always clean without any yellow undertones, the hair remains healthy and strong. On top of that Julie has a lovely personality, always very professional and great to talk to. Such a beautiful salon, lovely relaxing atmosphere and incredibly friendly staff. Since my first visit, Julie has completely transformed my hair from its appearance to its condition and I can not thank her enough. She really is just the best! Matilda cuts and styles my hair and she always leaves me feeling extremely happy with the results! I had my hair dyed by Julie and I couldn't recommend her enough to any brunettes out there that want to change up their hair but are forever fearful of ending up with ginger streaks!! I’ve always taken pride in my hair. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2020, I was devastated. I faced total hair loss and aggressive treatment. Julie was very empathetic and professional in managing both my hair loss and the eventual regrowth. Step one – Haircut short and coloured bright pink. Step 2 - Throughout chemo, Julie kept a constant supply of scalp moisturiser and support. Step 3 -Julie trimmed my regrowth and supported any head concerns. All her knowledge came true, and my bristly sideburns were of great concern to me, but she reassured me they would grow back into normal hair, and they have. Step 4 - 18 months post-chemo my hair is almost back to normal. It embraces new bright colours that I love to change each time! and cutting every 4 - 6 weeks my head of hair is well and truly back! This horrible daunting journey would have been so much harder without Julie. I will always be eternally grateful to her.

Laura Byrne, I would highly recommend her for gent’s haircuts. After moving to London I have tried decent number of barbers but always got disappointed with the results, till I had my first haircut with Laura. She gave me the perfect haircut from the first time, I have became a repeated customer since then.

I followed Jenny to Paul Edmonds many years ago as she is by far and away the best stylist I have had (curly hair is a challenge ) and I have lived in NYC , Paris and London so have had my share of varieties. My happy surprise in following Jen was discovering a great colourist in Steven and Miso therapy and more from Gene…so am happy Jenny moved here and that I followed (so much so that this is my first ever public review ) ! I went here to have a wash and blow dry before a wedding this august - I saw Lizzie and not only was she lovely, talkative and professional but she did a wonderful job of styling my hair exactly how I wanted it for the day! The curls lasted all weekend in my hair which barely ever happens. I will be booking in with Paul Edmonds at the Power station again and hopefully Lizzie will be available to style my hair for the next wedding event coming up!

Impeccable pedicure by manicurist Yung at the Battersea branch. My only feedback is I’d expect a wider range of brands, in particular OPI. Also had an amazing cut and style with Stephanie at the Knightsbridge branch. I was conscious of my thick hair but Stephanie advised on the best cut and treatment to bring it back to life. Thoroughly recommend booking with her.

My first time at Paul Edmonds Battersea, I had such a lovely experience. The salon is super sleek and luxurious, it was such a nice place to hang out for a few hours getting my colour done! I couldn't recommend Julie more, I found her through a friend and on Instagram, she is an EXPERT! in blondes which is a hard colour to get right! I totally trusted her to decide what I should have, so we went for a Californian Balayage. Results were exactly what I wanted! Thank you Julie! and Paul Edmonds :)

Always look forward to my appointments and come away with such fabulous hair. The salon have done a brilliant job making everyone feel safe with masks, temperature checks, sanitiser etc after opening up, and they really looked after everyone with getting appointments as quickly as possible, working crazy hours to accommodate us all!

I can only describe this salon as the best in London! I visited for both a hair and beauty appointment (colour with Salma & facial with the wonderful Sunita) and I received a 5 star service throughout. I was treated to a Soya Latte and even offered a menu full of yummy looking breakfasts, lunches and home made smoothies. I am so happy with my hair and I will now never go elsewhere! I've known Julie for years there is no one i trust more with my hair. She's always honest about what will look good and wont and I've never had a bad colour from her she is literally the best. She recommended the Shu Uemura night serum and the ultimate reset shampoo and conditioner. I was skeptical at first as they are pricey but they last a long time and they have transformed my hair along with olaplex 3 and 6.

Okay, so ive tried waxing, cut and blowdry, and nails. The hair services are amazing, i got my hair washed and blow dried and it cost me 25 pounds, the nail services are okay, hygienic but not so professional. The waxing, however, ill give a 0. I waxed my underarms and arms in july 2019, was super painful and i have a scar on my right underarm that never went away and its itchy. I dont know what they used on me. But hair services are on point and great.

Whilst I have had my hair coloured for over 20 years I have never known anybody to offer the range of expertise that Julie does. Rather than being offered highlights or a balayage for example Julie will suggest several different styles and methods to achieve the end result that you are looking for. It’s hard to describe but since going to see Julie my hair has a brightness and shine to it that it never did before and the blonde tones are soft with no yellow tones and very fine highlight streaks. Not only is Julie a fabulous hairdresser who many of my friends now go to but she’s also great fun to catch up with! I tend to go to Battersea but also Knightsbridge when Julie is based there.
