Wow wow wow! I found this salon through the Groupon voucher and came here today for a full head of highlights and blowdry- I will definitely be back! Iona and the other lady (sorry I can't remember your name 😭) were so helpful and professional for the entire process. I have really thick hair so a lot of hairdressers lose their patience with me when doing highlights, but not these ladies! The colour turned out so well from the bleach that I didn't even need a toner (something I've never experienced before but it was great 😅). The staff really know what they're doing and the prices are such good value. I really had a great experience here. 100% recommended!

Atmosphere great,friendly staff, Esmeralda is very nice and professional but shame how the groupon was handled. on arrival the other girl just didnt want to scan my voucher and we had plenty of time so I offered 3x, even I had to check for them what is actually incl ... Not my 1st rodeo, this is how I find my loyalty to certain places after 'testing' them via groupon deals 1st but won't be loyal this time because they ought to inform on arrival of the surcharge and after checking length of my hair. I presumed lenght is fine as she didn't say nothing of surcharge as that is what I experienced everywhere else AFTER they scan the voucher but no, she failed to inform me on spot so at the end when scanning my voucher she dropped it on me : 'not sure if you read your voucher but this will be surcharge of £10 🙈 ... Bit crafty... Used to work in retail I know, how it supposed to be but hey ho, they lost out on a customer, they probably won't need me then 😂 P. S toilet could do with better cleaning (tap) otherwise thanks ladies take care THANKS FOR THE REPLY, NOT SHOUTING, JUST REACTING TO YOUR REPLY AS I CAN'T COMMENT OTHER WAY ;) THOUGHT IT PRETTY OBVIOUS FROM MY REVIEW ABOVE ELLIE CHARGED ME FOR £10 BUT SHE NEVER SAID ANYTHING ON SPOT WHEN SHE CHECKED LENGHT OF MY HAIR AND THIS SHOULD BE INFORMED WHEN AHE CHECKS THE HEAD BEFORE ANY WORK STARTS AND DEFINITELY SCAN VOUCHERS 1ST THAT'S MY INPUT. So I got my first highlights at this hairdresser and it's quite bad I've taken a couple months to leave a review as I never usually review places but my experience here was amazing. I came not really having much of an idea of what I wanted and the hairdressers were incredibly patient with me, told me which colours wouldn't work in my hair and making suggestions. I was still nervous before the foil was taken off and knew if I didn't like it it wouldn't really be there fault as I had not had a great idea of what I wanted. In the end I absolutely loved the highlights. The blond streaks looked great with my brown hair but also really natural and I've received many compliments. I highly recommend this place as they take care of you from the beginning to the very end. Great value for money as well.

The staff are so friendly and attentive. I had a hair colour, cut and blow dry at the Great Castle Street branch. Esmeralda did my hair cut and blow dry - she was brilliant! She understood exactly the haircut I wanted and just did it, efficiently, paying attention to each detail. Her blow dry was great too, so my hair became silky and shiny. Very professional in my opinion.

My stylist is really nice and accommodating. However, because of the language barrier, even though she ask my preference and even if after showing the picture of the cut i want, it didn't transpire. And people reviews are correct, it's weird technique to use a razor to cut your hair so it makes my haircut that is supposed to be layer to look like i don't know what style it is. The owner ask if everything is okay, at that point because it's late you cannot possibly ask them to correct your haircut because alot of hair has already been cut and it could have been more worse. overall, you get what you pay. I don't think I'm coming back shame because the location is really convenient and good

Highly recommend the keratin treatment never seen my hair so straight and soft. I've had my hair bleached so much I thought nothing would work but this has truly revived my hair completely. The staff are super friendly and kind. Nikol who did my hair was amazing she took great care of me and told me alot about the after care she went above and beyond to make sure my hair looked perfect before leaving the salon.

I had a Groupon which made my half head highlights, cut and blow dry a very reasonable price. It's always a risk going to a Groupon hair salon, but fortunately it paid off! Nikol did my hair and I'm super happy with the colour and cut. She was a lovely girl and extremely competent, if not a little unorthodox- never had clippers used to trim my hair before! There wasn't much of a consultation process beforehand, possibly down to a language barrier (Greek largely spoken in the Salon), but I was willing to put my head in their hands and all the vital things were communicated. I was especially grateful that they fit me in pre lockdown 2.0! Would recommend.

I purchased a Brazilian Keratin on Groupon. Rebelcutz is conveniently located near Oxford Circus Tube Station so easy to get to. When I arrived I was told the Brazilian Keratin treatment would not work on “Afro” hair and that this was clearly stated in the small print. I did not read the small print. People may not realise, but “Afro” hair is not one size fits all, there are many different textures. I would say my hair type is a 3a and it’s fine and soft and not coily like 4c for instance. I assured the owner, who has actually done my hair previously, that it would be ok and the product would work on my hair type and as I’d travelled all the way to London, I still wanted to have it done. The stylist washed and then applied the keratin to my hair which was left on to take effect. She blow dried and tonged it and unlike most other stylists, she didn’t burn my scalp with the hairdryer, so I was happy with that. At the end my hair was trimmed and I was pleased with the results. The stylist was very good, but I don’t like this idea of excluding certain hair types from their services. We have been in this country for many, many years and it’s high time we are fully catered for in the beauty and hair industries. It’s not acceptable in 2021 to say that a treatment can’t be carried out on “Afro” hair. Buy in suitable products that will work on all hair types.
