The first time I've ever loved my hair! Honestly, all of these positive reviews are so right! I decided to give this salon a try after seeing all or the positive feedback it received and it excelled the expectations I had for it. Robert E Lee used to be a mere 15 minute trip away from me until I moved out of London. It now takes an hour and a half to get there but I am still going!. I have had a number of different stylist over the years and they have all been excellent. I think they are probably the best colourists I have ever hand (as well as being lovely, friendly people) and are well worth the trip. I have given them a 5 star rating and, on the basis of my experience, they really deserve it.

I have now been going here for a year and Janine is awesome. She really understands her clients, type of hair they have and has hidden my grey hair well! During lockdown she was in contact with clients that had pre-booked appointments and made sure that I had an appointment as soon as lockdown was over. Great haircut. Very welcoming hairstylist, I purchased haircut with junior hairstylist so she should be junior but I did not feel like that, she did a great job. Amazingly friendly staffs. My treatment was done by Maddie and Janine consulted with me before the treatment. She asked me my concerns about my hair and suggested what I should do to take care of it and gave me the treatment which will be beneficial for my hair. I was offered drinks few times. I can't praise this salon highly enough. After a disastrous colour experience with another hairdresser that left me with green hair, I visited Robert E Lee for the first time based purely on their review rating and location. It took them 7 hours to fix it but fix it they did!. My hair was so bad that at first they were not sure it was repairable but they put their heads together and came up with a plan. From their insistence on a patch test to check what my hair could take to the final colour, cut and blow dry they showed endless patience, creativity and commitment to getting me out of the door in a completely different state to how I was when I walked in. I can not thank them enough and from now on they will definitely be my regular hairdresser.

I went in to save my hair from an at-home bleaching disaster which left my hair patchy and yellow. Now my hair is an absolutely beautiful ash blonde colour and exactly how I wanted it. The staff did an amazing job and were all so lovely and welcoming. 100% recommend to anyone and I will definitely be returning.

Do not under estimate this hair salon just because it's not in a Trendy area. I would describe myself as a very fussy customer in that I know what suits me I know what I want but sometimes I want a change where I am mixing and matching styles which is easier said than done because you're trialing except I want my trials to hit the spot first time. Jenine the head hairdresser delivered where even my partner was impressed and as a photographer he can be critical. I will be happy to recommend this salon to my friends without fear of things going wrong. I don't normally praise because I am a fussy customer but seriously do not under estimate the craftsmanship of this salon.

Never been to a Salon before so was a little (I mean incredibly) nervous & reluctant (normally I just visit the barbers), but so glad I decided to step out of my comfort zone and give Robert E Lee a go because the difference is day and night (compared to a haircut at the barbers).
