I had such a wonderful hair cut by Amber. She was exceptionally attentive and professional and very very gentle in how she handled my hair. She completely understood what I wanted and talked me through every stage of the process, and listened to my concerns. The salon was lovely as well and COVID safe and for the first time I actually felt pampered during a haircut rather than just rushed through and yanked on. She also took the time to style my hair with a wand to give me some soft waves, and was just really really nice. Definitely will be going back as a regular!

Amber is such a fabulous hairdresser. She listens to me, advising where perhaps I might be a bit over ambitious, and producing really excellent results. I have previously had proper hairdresser-phobia and have been very anxious about any new salon. However, I have been Amber's customer since July 2020 and couldn't be happier. She's also a lovely person who makes me laugh and managed really well to be customer-focussed, despite the covid-19 restrictions.

I’ve been going to Rush on The Strand for a few years now and I’ve never been disappointed. Carmel always does such an amazing job at colouring my hair (balayage) and cutting! She’s really takes care of her clients and has so much patience (I have A LOT of hair!). I’ve been reluctant to travel into London since the pandemic, but my hair has missed Carmel and needed some TLC and the team at The Strand has applied safety measures whilst still making sure all clients are looked after. Peter has been my hairdresser for about a year now... I actually travel from Wales to London every few weeks to see him as he is such a great colourist. My greys are really hard to cover, and then I change it up a lot, so I really need someone who knows exactly what they are doing based on the condition of the hair and the way it has been coloured previously. Peter is technically brilliant and a real expert in terms of the science of colouring and the suitability and efficacy of different techniques and products. I 100% trust his advice and he is a perfectionist who wants the results to be amazing and the client to be thrilled. He achieves this every time. The staff are very welcoming, tea/coffee are offered and also free of charge. My hair was dyed by Alex, whom did an AMAZING job. I also had my hair cut by a different hairdresser (I did not get the name of her) who also did a great job. Definitely recommend this salon to everyone!

This was my first haircut in London. Been searching for a good hairdresser for a week, not sure where to go. I went to Rush because a colleague recommended it. I was not disappointed. Made a appointment the same day, 15 minutes before start. Luckily there was a spot with Dana, style director. My hair was washed very good, after the cutting began. Dana really listened to my preferences and what I liked. After some cutting she dried my hair to have a look. She continued her cutting very detailed: perfectionist! After a final cut, she washed my hair again to make sure all the small hairs were gone. After that she styled my hair really well! I paid 45 pound, which is a lot as a student, but totally worth it. The only thing I saw when I came home, disappointed me: apparently there wash a coupon-code that could be used to get 50% discount for new customers. That would saved me a lot. Other than that: very good hair salon! Michel

I had a ladies cut and finish by Chris today, and I can not recommend him enough! A fantastic experience. He made me feel comfortable, and listened to exactly what I wanted. He has restored my trust in hairdressers! I am super happy with the results. We had a good chat and giggle. He was very professional, and most importantly he communicated clearly what he was doing to ensure I was happy with everything. The entire team were very welcoming. It was my first time getting my hair done other than going to the barbers. The experience was lovely, my hair stylist Grant was amazing and really understood what I wanted, the whole vibe of the salon was friendly and I didn't feel judged whatsoever. My friend recommended this lovely lady called Dana to do my highlights. I am very careful in terms of changing hairdressers and salons as I am very particular and always expect professional treatment and personal approach. I was extremely surprised that Dana is not only very lovely lady that is passionate about her work, extremely knowledgeable, happy to give me advice how to take care of my hair the best possible way, she did amazing work that my hair is healthy, shiny with a perfect shade of blond colour that I asked for! This is very important for me as I have been very disappointed in the past choosing different hairdressers across the SW London where I live. Michelle is my regular stylist and I cannot rate her highly enough. When I first moved to London, I tried multiple stylists/salons to find someone who could work with my curly hair and was beginning to give up that I would ever find someone! I was brought to Rush Hair by Grant after having a terrible experience at my first hairdressers in London with another salon. The staff were amazing upon my first step into the salon. Asked if I would like a drink before sitting down. I had already had correspondence with Grant prior to my appointment so we were both on the same page. He sat with me and understood what I didn't like about my hair, what I wanted to change and with his amazing eye for detail, started discussing the best tones and colours which would both suit me and fix my current colour. He was amazing! Very professional, understood exactly way I wanted and took the time and patience to really make my hair right! His attention to detail is unreal. I've never seen in a hairdresser to date. He sections each individual part of colour to ensure no bleed to other sections of hair. The transformation in my hair has been incredible. I would happily return to Grant and pay triple what I paid today! Grant, you truly understood, sympathised and restored my faith in hairdressers (outwith going to my mum to do my hair)! I would highly recommend!!

The staff are all super friendly and take time to speak with their clients to find out what their exact requirements are. I recommend this salon, it's very vibrant with a friendly atmosphere. My stylist Michelle was amazing. She is professional, kind and honest. Michelle did everything to make me feel welcome and was a delight to get to know. I went in for a haircut and ombré dye, it's one of the best haircuts I've had and will 100% be returning 👍🏻. I came to the saloon with the intention of shaping my hair and cut the edges - telling the barber I was saving for longer hair. However, I gave the barber the freedom to do something different if he felt that something else would make a better result. The barber cut my hair realy short and thinned it more than I have ever experienced before - not what I was looking for, but okay. However, because of my thick and frizzy hair, this cut does not work at all and I now have a huge amount of volumet and chaos on top of my head. The idea was probably good, and the barber is probably technically skilled, but because he didn't manage to read my hair type the result ended up being bad. Other than that the saloon deserves a five star rating; iæI liked my barer, the place was clean, nice employees and good service! However, I would not recommend this place to a dude with a hair that is hard to cut.

I got my hair done here about a week and a half ago and wow. The experience was phenomenal. A guy named Grant did my hair. We did a simple cut and a major colour transformation. Grant was professional, timely, focused and also made me feel relaxed and in good hands. When you're in the chair for that long with colour you need someone this good. I won't trust anyone else with my hair now!! I had a suitcase with me and the receptionist took my suitcase into the cloak room which is nice. The facilities were clean and organised. Impressed and well worth the money.

Quite pricey, but you get what you pay for. I had medium curly length hair and was going for a pixie crop - Livia sat with me and talked it through for ages before cutting. I have never had such a careful haircut! She spent ages on it and I am so happy. She was totally confident which put me at ease because it was such a drastic cut. Dana deserves a medal! She stayed way past closing time to ensure the job was finished well, she talked through every step of the process with me (I've often been left sitting in the chair confused with a silent stylist) and adapted her approach using my input to make sure we were on the same page. She was also really realistic about what could be achieved in one session colour-wise which is always a plus. Probably the best customer service I've had at any salon, I was fed lots of wine and chocolates throughout my lengthy colour, cut, treatment and blow dry service. It is pricey, but Dana is worth it.

This salon is the best I have been to out of kings cross and Tottenham Court Road. The staff are amazing very friendly and welcoming. Jade my hairdresser is totally amazing I met jade for a consultation told her what I wanted to be bright blonde and get my hair back in good condition jade reccomended products and treatments and she always delivers an excellent result. She is the best hair dresser I have found.

Nice haircut, courteous staff, but really expensive. I would try something off the "chain" for similar quality but cheaper experience. O'Sullivans or The Salon at London Bridge come to mind as the better competitors, with 40% cheaper services, but as good a haircut.
