I took my toddler for his first hair cut and we loved the experience with Sally. Having Cocomelon on the screen was great entertainment for my little one and Sally was warm and patient and gave him a lovely hairstyle. It was also nice that Sally asked if we wanted to save some hair as a keepsake. We will definitely be back!

I went today with my son who’s autistic and he done amazinggggg! He was very calm and happy, normally his crying and shouting and I was very shocked. The lady was very gentle and caring she also took her time with my son to make him feel super comfortable. My little 4 year old girl had some concerns about someone taking scissors to her head... the lockdowns and the lack of mingling for 2 years hasn't helped her social development. I looked for the best reviewed children's hairdresser and came across sallys. As soon as we went inside, Emily was excited by the decorative hairbrushes all around and the pink bench to wait on. Sally made emily feel at ease very easily. She had emily unfussed and chatting away, while her hair was being cut. The children's TV helped and emily was also watching peppa. All in all, I don't think a 1st haircut could have been in a better environment. I will be bringing emily until she leaves school.

I’ve left a review for Sally before but I wanted to leave another because I think she’s brilliant. I have taken my daughter for a few haircuts with Sally (first one when she was 16 months; she’s now 20 months). Unfortunately my daughter gets upset every time (the most recent time was probably the worst) but Sally is totally unflappable and seems completely unfazed by my daughter screaming throughout her haircut! And somehow she still manages to cut her hair perfectly (not easy with my daughter’s hair as it’s poker straight and she doesn’t stop wriggling). I wouldn’t take her anywhere else for a cut and I’m sure in time she’ll grow to like going to the hairdresser as Sally has such a kind, caring manner.

Sally suggested he sits on my husband's lap instead and she played one of his favourite tv shows which calmed him down and made the haircut process easier. Sally has cut my kids hair for 3 years now, since we discovered her via a recommendation from a friend. We didn't know it at the time, but my son has autism, and would previously never let anyone near his hair without a public meltdown. Sally's calm, kind, and gentle manner, along with the child-friendly relaxing atmosphere (plus TV!) meant that we said goodbye to haircut meltdowns. What a tremendous hairdresser Sally is! I visited for my (extremely shy) daughter's first haircut. The little cherub screamed and screamed but Sally has the patience of a saint and somehow managed to not only get her to stop crying by the end, give a high five BUT ALSO performed a really excellent, skilled, neat hair cut. My little boy (just turned 2 years) has had 6 haircuts now with Sally and the introduction has been perfect for him. He is totally unfazed and really quite likes the experience. Sally has a sweet demeanour, caring personality and frankly a sensible set up with children’s tv channels through Amazon or similar so that the children are engaged in something and distracted. Her shop is clean and light, and set up is perfect for haircuts. If early, plenty of shops/cafes nearby to keep busy. Fara Children charity shop directly opposite ! Online booking is a not complicated on a phone, but much easier on a computer. 👍🏻 COVID-19 set up is excellent. Small shop, but felt extremely safe and secure.

Sally is the only one cutting hair so you don't have the noice of other customers, the next one just comes in at the end which i thought was really good. Sally is a lovely lady who always makes my daughter feel comfortable. She's very flexible towards the kids and we love that she has plenty of toys and Netflix to distract the kids. Booking appointments and rescheduling is so easy thanks to the online system. You have the choice of paying my PayPal which is great for days you don't have cash with you. Parking is always available outside too! We have been coming for the past 3 years now and we love it here!

It's obvious that Sally has been cutting children's hair for many years. Her calm, relaxed manner and the friendly shop environment always puts our children (7 and 9) at total ease. Her prices are reasonable considering the location and the styling is of a good quality. I only wish I lived a bit nearer so I could be a regular rather than an occasional treat.

We are very, very glad we found Sally. Before her our son wouldn't stop crying while cutting his hair. But sally had the patience and experience to make him at least bearing it, even he is starting to like it. The shop is small but it has all the amenities, TV with Apple TV, toys books.... There is always space for parking near the shop. Price is similar to other children hairdressers but is money well spent.

Sally always manages to get an amazing haircut done in the most trying of circumstances. Our boy will wriggle and move with no warning but the end result is fabulous. The new normal is waiting customers have a seat outside rather than inside the doorway which worked well. Good times

Took my nearly 4 year old to Sally today and will certainly be back! It was her first haircut and my little one was put at ease with the toys and of course being able to watch peppa pig while having her hair done was a massive bonus!
