I’ve never seen a barber pay so much time and attention into their work and when you’re there you really feel like you are appreciated. Not only are his skills with the clippers unlike anything I’ve ever seen before (I have a skin fade), but his scissor skills are unreal, a combination I have never seen so refined before. Amazing value for the service provided and no matter where I move to London in the future, I’ll be making my way to Putney for Romain’s haircuts.

Romain has definitely earned himself a long term client! His overall approach, attention to detail, care for the customer and passion for good hairstyles isn't something I've seen before. 7 garcons = 5 stars!

S. W.Absolutely one of the best barbers around - Romain is lovely. *However*: record keeping is a real problem. I've been coming here for the last year or so, and rarely is an appointment without some time-keeping issue. Either we start 15-20 minutes late, or my appointment was recorded for the day before or after. All bookings are taken manually over the phone or email and entered into a written diary - please consider going digital! I think you'll have far fewer problems if you embrace a bit of technology here.
That said - service once you're in really is top notch, and while I normally wouldn't stand the ongoing issues with bookings, with Romain I'm still coming back on a regular basis and accounting for the problems by allowing extra time.

I have visited seven garçons every two weeks since then and I can confidently say that I have never been to a place that provides a professional service as consistently as he does, there's no Cutting corners (no pun intended). P. S.My local barbers. I live across the road and was excited to see this place opening a couple of years ago. I tried it out and it was so much better than any barber experience I had had before! The place has been decked out to a high finish and its always clean and tidy.
Recommend booking in advance as you would be very lucky to walk in and get seen as he's quite busy!
