UPDATE (July 2021): Always a fantastic time at Stylena. My hair is notoriously difficult (very thick, dark and pretty drab), but Christina gave. it. life. I am so so happy with my balayage and new style! The new venue is also beautifully bright, COVID secure, and all the girls who work there are super lovely. Thank you Stylena for another amazing experience. Original (Aug 2020): Got my first post-lockdown haircut at Stylena and was super impressed! Stylist Val was lovely and cut my hair exactly as I asked, and was very patient in styling my stubborn locks. Precautions are in place and followed well for anyone with concerns. Looking forward to the next haircut!

The ladies working at Elena's salon are all highly professional and experienced hairdressers. It was my first experience in this salon and I was very happy with the result. For the last 8 years since I have moved to the UK I was looking for a good hair salon and I hope I have finally found one :-) Booking the appointment was very easy via Whatsapp. I went for Airtouch procedure which is like balayage but with gentler bleach which takes longer to work - so be prepared to spend 5-6 hours there, but its totally worth it because the result you gonna get will be just perfect! Recently moved to the area and was looking to find a quality hair salon, and I'm glad I made the choice to visit Stylena. I had Valeria as my hairstylist and she was great. Professional, wonderful attention to detail and gentle with my hair throughout the washing, cutting and styling process. I provided her with a picture of the style I wanted and she did a great job and then even added a bit of a twist at the end with curling my hair, which was nice. Everyone followed safety protocols with wearing masks and keeping space between patrons. The salon itself was also very clean. A very high quality establishment. This is the first salon in London that I've been to in the 6 years for being here that I'll be going back to, and would highly recommend anyone else who is looking for a high quality salon to give Stylena a try.

Very pleased with my expeience at this small and friendly salon in Kensington! The professionalism and friendliness of the staff is really what one is looking for in a hairdressers. As many Russian-speaking girls, I used to always go back home to "my" hairdresser - now I think it is safe to say that I can trust my hair to STYLENA. It was my first visit to Stylena and I'm over the moon! My haircut has been done by wonderful Valeria who was very attentive to my requests, gentle with my hair, and very professional. She cut my hair exactly as per the reference I showed her and it was exactly how I wanted it. It's so rare to find such a great beauty salon with high standards and amazing quality. The place is very clean & people inside were wearing masks. My long hair haircut took an hour or so. I got a wet cut and Valeria even showed me how to style my new bangs and recommended me some hair products. I will definitely come back and I would recommend this place to my friends too. Great salon! Highly recommend! Easy to book, very friendly and professional staff and lovely atmosphere. So far I’ve had the Absolute Hair Treatment which left my hair feeling and looking much healthier, softer and more manageable. As well as the hand touch technique which transformed my hair completely. Both done by the lovely stylist Luba. On top of this, I had my eyebrows laminated and tinted by Galina and, again, it left me looking like a completely new person. Was recommended this salon by a friend and I have no regrets. I was treated this past Monday by Valeria! My hair was beautiful and they use very good products, they have their salon very clean and they even offered me a coffee and some chocolate. For me the bad thing was that although the reservation stated that I would be there for 3-4 hours, I actually spent 7 hours to get my highlights done and communication with Valeria was a bit difficult because she hardly speaks English. I would have liked more communication because they spoke with each other in their language all the time and also with another client in their language. They barely speak to me in just 7 hours that I was there and I got bored but in general they were nice and Valeria was very professional and did a great job and effort.

Not only are all the girls so attentive and warm off the cuff (checking up on you with tea, coffee, water and chocolates every two hours), they are also incredibly professional. Elena taught her newest apprentice how to carry out the Russian Air Brush technique on my hair for a discounted price, she then hand-mixed the shade of coral blush I was looking for based off a photograph (this woman is so talented) and finally, she and her apprentice cut my hair into a bob so precise I can cut my fingers on the hem! I have been looking for a professional stylist in London since I moved, but all my previous experiences were very bad. In some places I was overcharged (like £400 with a guy who was keep saying that he doesent know what is he douing, he didn’t know that I understand his language), other made me soffer from low quality service and a “yellow blond”. The place is new and looks nice and you can easy reach it by using overground or underground the are also many buses. The girls gives you a very warm welcome and offer you a drinks (tea, coffee, water). Than we discussed my expectations and we get started. I wanted to have a nice natural cold blond colour that will cover my grey hear and should not be yellow at all, Elena suggusted to use Air touch tequinq, and as I said it was succes! Wonderful, cannot be better! I think it’s all about the passion that she puts in her job, like an artist when he creates new masterwork.
