I went in with a vague idea of what I wanted and Mitch was able to give me options as well as his honest opinion of what he thought would work best with my hair and face shape (which was much appreciated given how indecisive I am!). I am so happy with my hair and the service that Mitch provided. He is personable yet professional and I look forward to going back!

Mitch at Teal has been my hairdresser for many years, he’s always reliable and great at flexing to what I need, knowing how to change my colour up when I want something different. He also gives good chat or knows when to leave you be if you’re knackered and need to zone out. Would highly recommend.

Mitch has been cutting and colouring my hair for years and there is no one else I trust with my hair. So, when he moved to Teal, I was certainly going to following. The salon is lovely, staff are professional and as always Mitch did a fantastic job. I can't reccomend Mitch and the salon enough.

I was lucky enough to be placed in the care of Francesca - she was friendly, professional and took on board all of my requests whilst advising what I may or may not be able to achieve. Francesca is the best hairdresser and hairstyles of Balham... actually better to say of London! I did try Teal London Balham last year and I booked an appointment with Francesca. Since that appointment she is my hairdresser and hairstyler! I book my appointment every 3 weeks.Everytime she knows how to get my hairstyle to the top! I highly recommend for men of you want to have a modern and clean hairstyle. I love the ambient. Very clean and I love the way they offer you coffee and water with almond biscuits ( my favourite!)And the receptionist Justina is very professional and very helpful with anything. The salon offers beauty treatments too. I highly recommend to go and visit the salon and book your appointment with them! 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 service!

Francesca did an amazing job, cutting and blow drying my hair today. She listened to what I wanted while also providing some ideas on what else she could do that she felt would add to my haircut and overall style. I was searching for a new colour technician to do my highlights last year - somewhere local, and I came across the great reviews online so decided to give a full head of highlights a go. I am extremely fussy when it comes to my hair & I have to say Francesca did the best job on my long, very thick hair for a very long time & I've been to some of London's top hair salons. Francesca listened to what I wanted (very fine highlights and lots and lots of them) and I got exactly what I wanted, and I got loads of compliments on the colour. I am so happy to have found someone so great locally to me now, won't go anywhere else! Thanks Francesca - can't wait to come back and see you soon!

Angela spent a lot of time at the start of the appointment going through a consultation to make sure she understood what I wanted and gave her professional opinion which I really appreciated. Only FYI to other clients is although you can use AMEX to pay your deposit online but you cannot use this payment method in store. Looking forward to returning to the salon.

We have had three hair cuts at Teal and have not been disappointed. Francesca did a fantastic job of cutting my 13 year old son and 10 year old daughter's hair- both were delighted, particularly my fussy boy! A month later I had my thinning, dry, wavy, difficult hair cut by Angela. The cut has given it a new lease of life, boosted the curls and increased volume. Angela's product advice was very helpful. I would highly recommend the Davines range, which they stock in store. My hair felt super silky and the frizz minimised after washing/ conditioning with Momo and styling with with the milk spray and Love curl serum. Thank to the lovely team. We will return!!

Lovely decor, lovely staff who know what they are doing and are interested in making you comfortable and have a good hair dressing experience. Lavinia is excellent with afro Caribbean hair and really knows her stuff! How many other hair dressers do you go to and get tea and coffee let alone a glass of proseco! If you are looking for a fair dressers would completely recommend.

The salon has a lovely atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. Seeta cut my hair beautifully and I have had many compliments since. I will definitely be returning.
