good price, nice guy, not a great haircut. Nothing wrong with it - just a bog standard haircut, hence the 3 stars. I asked for shorter back and sides- my hair is shorter but not blended or faded in at all. I don't like complaining, but truth be told, I was tempted to go to another barber / do it myself straight after to blend it properly. Probably won't return.

Been meaning to go here for a few months now and I'm glad I waited! Was welcomed with such friendliness from Aldi and the other gentleman that was there, it also had a modern and cool atmosphere. I am extremely picky when it comes to barbers and I only go to places where the barbers are perfectionists and nice people and you get both of those here. If I don't get the right feel, I don't go. But this place fit the bill and I will definitely be returning!

What fantastic customer service, friendliness and professionalism by Aldi. I moved recently to this part of West London and was on the hunt for a good barber since my previous one I had stuck with for many years is now too much of a commute and it would take too long to get back to them on such recurrent basis. A friend of mine who lives nearby said I should strongly consider BEM Hair House as he said he's been a regular with them for many years and that it used to be called W12 Barbers. He spoke highly of the team which are like family, as all know each other well and are very genuine and down to earth people. I got my haircut done by Aldi at that time who definitely delivered when I showed him a picture on my phone of how I wanted mine to be done (which I'm sure he's used to seeing requests of this kind). He was very polite, didn't rush at all and told me about the different families and everyone else he's known, how they bring their children and relatives over too which made me feel at ease and more comfortable. BEM is now my new favourite, go-to place for when I need a cut in the area and if you're like me who is new too, give them a try as I have a good feeling you won't be disappointed!

I've lived in Shepherds Bush all my life and I've been to a various barbershops in the area, but this place beats them all by a long shot. Why? 2 simple reasons. 1) the quality of the cuts 2) the staff are extremely friendly. In addition, you can always minimise the time you have to wait for a cut by simply giving the barbershop a call. The staff will always answer the phone and provide you with their most accurate waiting time estimation, or when it's best to arrive. Highly recommend - you wont regret it.

I called by to see Bler and Arildo for my monthly spruce up on Sunday afternoon, they were charming and friendly; I was made to feel incredibly welcome! Both guys are very professional and experienced; I always leave looking sharp and smart, my wife comments on my dapper appearance after every visit. Arildo gave me a fantastic fade haircut and beard trim, taking time and care to ensure I looked the part. The shop is immaculate at all times; clean, tidy and inviting. Finally a local hairdresser I'll revisit and l've only lived here 18 years - better late than never. Bem, named from the initials of the co owners and their lovely daughter, has only been around for two years !!. The ambience is relaxed, sophisticated, yet strangely subtle too. The focus is totally on the client, their comfort and needs rather than displays of fancy hair products you feel pressurised into buying. This is all about you, the welcome, the sit down,the consultation, the decision, forward planning, ( that's the way to get customers into the loyalty club ! ) and then the experience of being pampered. An exclusive sink, screened from the main seating area, the comfy chair WITH ARMS! and my feet comfortably touching the floor after a small adjustment. At five foot three l struggle to be counted as an adult at a hairdressers sometimes. Large clear mirrors to watch the live action and pleasant conversation throughout and l had the whole salon to myself so l felt like a Queen - it was 4 in the afternoon on a Tuesday to be fair. My overly dry, badly square cut medium length Bob was rescued in just over half an hour. Bem, isn't responsible for the appalling worn out orange/ red highlights from my last session with a L'Oréal colourist. These will be put right on Thursday when l go back to my preferred plummy purple hue. Then in three months time I'll happily return to get more of a 'slope put on my stack ' so l can eventually achieve a beautiful layered, touching shoulder length lightly textured Bob. It sounds like creating a fabulous cake. Emanuela did a fantastic job. I hope she doesn't get a huge shock when l bring my sons long locks in to get shorn. He has hair most women would envy, there's just too much of it. NB this a unisex Salon and men are as well catered for too with attention to detail, comfort and great value for money.
