Reviews of The Clip Joint

I have been to a lot of places and honestly their service is very good! I am very picky and I hate when the barber literally punches my scalp with the clipper or pulls my hair with scissors. I was afraid at first but the barber knew what he was doing. His movements were soft, steady and I actually enjoyed being there. Skin fade was done perfectly! I will definitely come back.

Where do I start? I’ve been cutting my hair here for over a year now and it was the best decision I’ve made. My previous barbers use to leave me with spots and marks all over my head as they did not clean their machines and did not really care about customers. This place on the other hand, is VERY clean. Myself, and many others agree that the service of all the barbers, who are very friendly, is of the highest quality. Services include hair cuts, singing of hair, wash, hot towel, massage, face masks, waxing and refreshments! If you are looking for a barber shop that does a top job and chargers fair prices for the service, look no further, this is the place to go.

My first time at these guys.
Very professional and detailed..
No fuss straight to the point.
Very well priced . Be sure to leave a good tip.
Definitely will be back when I'm in the area.
Thanks.

Hands down the nicest gents barber/hair salon I've been in, in about 20 years. It doesn't look much, and it gets busy. The couple of guys who are in there when I've been in on evenings and weekends are quite relaxed and genuine, and there is a bit of banter when random friends come in off the street.
The haircuts I've had have been top notch (from either of the youngish guys). Even though they don't mess about, the attention to detail and advice, and the finished haircut, are all really good.
To be fair, I'm just getting a standard gents cut, but they put in a line for the shed which I've never had before, and it makes the style last a lot longer.
Definitely worth getting your haircut here.

Went for the first time last week as my regular place was closed for bank holiday and will most definitely be returning. Paid £30 for a haircut, wash, beard trim, cutthroat, hot towel and massage, all of which were fantastic. Very pleasantly surprised- one of the best haircuts I've had for a long time.

I've been going to the clip joint for a number of years now and I can honestly say it's the best barbers in East London, so much so that since relocating near to Hertfordshire I have continued to travel back to London in order to get my hair cut. The staff are all great! They make you feel very comfortable and welcome, they make a haircut an experience you enjoy.

Place is a bit rough around the edges (that comment was pre the redecoration) but very friendly, service great, and most importantly you get a really great haircut. As others say, real attention to detail, going over your hair to check, trimming, shaving, burning off ear hair. The result is 1st class and you leave with a cut that is clean, and precise. Worth the money. Beard trims too though I haven't had that done...
Update:
Some of the good people have left recently and seems like owner Ahmed (who does great cuts) not around as much... Now £17 for a regular cut which is quite a jump from what it was. I gave 5 stars previously, but now 4 stars, and that might be generous...

Been coming here for my hair cut for years and have always been pleased with the warm service and excellent cut. Ahmed has become a true friend. He treats all his customers with respect and always tries to make them comfortable while he cuts their hair.

I've been visiting the clip joint for 10 years now and it's hard to go elsewhere. The guys are really friendly and very thorough giving a proper barbers cut which is hard to find elsewhere (so much so that I live in another city and still try to get back when it's time for a haircut). The prices are reasonable and I really hope this place doesn't get priced out of the area on rent rises.

I have been a regular for 2 years and these guys never disappoint. I always go for a trim and a basic cut but they still give me attentive treatment of the highest level. Great attention to details and great vibes, strongly reccommend!
