I normally go to Saber. I followed him there from a barbers in Clapham. Hes very attentive to what you ask for and as well as being a great guy, he will look after you with drinks while you wait and recognises his clients who go to him regularly. I randomly found this heaven of a barber shop Elephant Barbers when taking a walk around my new neighborhood. I popped in and fell in love with Adam’s hair cutting skills. I see him every 2 weeks for the best skin fade I’ve ever gotten and a beard trim depending on if I am growing scruff. He always lets me tell him what I want but will make an executive decision on if he thinks the hair on top needs cut a little because it’s getting too long or the fade needs to be higher. Ive never had a haircut by any of the other barbers but the atmosphere is great and every time I’ve been there I’ve seen all happy customers. I will never get over how cheap of a haircut for the quality of cut it is. My haircuts in NYC weren’t as good and cost 5 times more than Adam’s cut at the Elephant Barbers. I happily told my 150,000 instagram followers and now I’m telling all of Google go see Adam at The Elephant Barbers for the best fade of your life. Sebastian

When you get your haircut here, it’s not like your usual experience at the barbers, and I mean that in the best way possible. From the moment you walk inside you are made feel welcome and each barber takes time to greet you. The place itself has a very relaxing for the customer which for me is perfect as a haircut, beard trim & many of the other services they provide are great to have after a long day/week at work. Danilo, Flavio & Matthias are all incredibly talented barbers who tale their time to listen to what you want, they take time to provide a fantastic service with you as the #1 priority. Great barbers. Staff take their time and are very helpful, professional and clean. From side fades to beard trims I've been coming here for 2 years even after I left the area and never had a bad experience. They also use good quality products and aftershaves. Slightly on the expensive side but you get what you pay for. Can get quite busy in evenings but there's nice waiting area with sofas and armchairs upstairs.

I absolutely love this place, and I haven't been anywhere else for a haircut since I accidentally stumbled upon them several months ago. Each of the team members is incredibly skilled, though my regular barber is Simone, who does a fantastic job every time. People comment on how sharp I look after almost every time I visit. I'm mixed race with half afro hair, and she cuts it better than anyone sense I've used. I highly recommend that guys who fancy a change pay them a visit. Once you do, you won't look elsewhere again. A cut above anyone local, and indeed up there with the very best, but much more reasonable on price.

After I sat down and told him what I wanted, it was clear that he understood my request. It's always a bit of a risk getting your haircut in a unfamiliar barbershop but I received a fantastic cut. Great barbers for a good price! Been visiting these guys for about 12 months and they always give great service with as much or as little conversation as you want. The upstairs waiting area has lots of comfortable sofas, but even during busy times you won't have to wait long.

Recently opened family barbers. Cool, experienced and a real friendly service these brothers really look after you. The flames on the ears trick was new to me but pleasantly surprising. If you've got time and feel like treating yourself the hot towel shave was definitely worth it. And ultimately one of the best trims I've ever had. Would recommend to everyone. Looking forward to returning once the building work has been completed.

This place is great, it is indeed a small gem in elephant and castle and to be honest. It’s probably the best I’ve found in this area noting that I’ve tried pretty much all across the street here. The reason for 4 stars is because of consistency. I used to cut it by Andre who has left but since then I’ve been able to spot where it was not cut properly or shaped having odd small patches growing longer than others (on the back of a skin fade). IMO The cut was done more by the looking instead of rotating around slowly to check if it’s done evenly & levelled with the fade etc.. I’ve had a trim by 3 people. Andre being one of them. I know there’s a lot more expensive barbers out there but I expect a trim to be even and leveled. On a fade or not it’s principle. I understand that it won’t always be like this. There’s no harm in checking that it is cut correctly,same length overall or even just feeling the hair to check which isn’t as issue for anyone. Maybe I’m just too picky, I pay for a cut I expect it to be. People feel pressured on the spot & realise after a wash at home. Turning left and right see abit of hair sticking out because it wasn’t avoided but fade is there. I’m not saying this is a bad place, it’s a very good place. Just not for me.
