A great place. For someone who hates getting their hair cut they actually manage to make it an enjoyable experience. Great music, beers (or whatever your tipple may be) and overall just a very decent bunch of guys. They also know what they’re doing with scissors and clippers, which is obviously the primary goal (the beers are important as well..)

The Owl is simply fantastic. I have stupidly tricky hair to cut and tonnes of it. When I first came to London i had some disasters at some really well known places. Since the Owl opened and Drew started cutting my hair it’s been simply fab. He even resists putting any product in my hair…a great place. Go!

Really sound lads, made me feel very welcome in a genuine way (offered me a chilled beer - excellent start!). I only had to wait about 5mins before I sat in the barbers chair, I was really happy with my cut, attention to detail. I've visited a few Barbers shops in London over the past couple of years and I've felt like the service has been quite rushed most times, but definitely not with these guys at The Owl. This is by far the barber shop I've been to in my 6 years of London. Nothing to gain from being this nice as I don't know the lads personally but great whiskeys, post industrial interior and sharp haircuts are enough for me. A little more premium the last place I went to but well worth every penny for the banter and craft beer that I was offered alone! Very satisfied with the haircut, lots of attention to detail... will go again for sure!

Booked in for a crew cut and beard trim 26£. I rarely go to barbers as I never know the quality and I am pretty precious about my beard. My haircut was exactly what I wanted but no beard trim?? Maybe that was swapped out for the hair wash I didn't request... Or maybe that's standard, I don't know. Overall I received a good cut in a chilled place but was charged 33£ so I'm not sure how to get what you book for.... Not sure if I'll return...

From my previous experience being at the barbers is like visiting a dentist, always nervous and worried whether they're gonna screw your haircut or not. Today I tried the Owl, and I was left happy and satisfied. Paula did an amazing job, she really knows her stuff. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere here is really relaxing. Historically have had a decent job, that’s why I’ve given it three stars, however my last cut with Josh was a disaster. Fade a mess, with minimal blend from top to bottom. Very sloppy cut. I’m sure people have had good experiences here, no doubt, but for me once bitten twice shy. I won’t be back unfortunately.
