Came to Giovanni with a mess of a haircut made by a hairdresser at Live True. Giovanni saved my hair like a bloomin miracle worker. I was hoping he could conceal some of my horrendous 'layers' I'd been given, but I came away with a near perfect short bob. You'd never know I had recently had a horrendous haircut elsewhere! He is a total perfectionist and really has pride in his work. The salon itself is really nice and, as someone with anxiety, I felt quickly at ease. I am thrilled I decided to go here and can't wait to be back for a balayage soon! Thank you Giovanni!

I had my appointment today with Giovanni. Originally I wanted only roots done and a bit of haircut but after the consultation I decided for a radical step to chop off the unruly long hair and asked for a short bob and full dye. I told Giovanni to do whatever he thinks and feels right. He did such an amazing job that it brought me to tears. The entire experience, from the moment I entered to the moment I left, was wonderful. The price was lower than I expected, considering the time, treatments and personal care put into this. I will be returning for sure and strongly recommend this salon to anyone who is really fussy and particular about their hair like myself. Giovanni, I really love what you've done with my hair and cannot thank you enough!!!

Emma is an incredible hairdresser, always friendly and fantastic at using her eye and experience to take your ideas and tailor them to your hair, appearance and lifestyle. For my last visit I made a significant change, going from shoulder length hair to a short, blonde pixie cut, and I've never been happier. The salon itself is in a great location, has a very friendly atmosphere and fabulous styling. For my first visit I had to bring my then 3 month old son and all staff were so accommodating and lovely with us both, making it an effortless and positive experience for this new mum. I've found my perfect hair stylists in Emma and the Shout House and couldn't recommend both more.

This is a local hairdressers for me so I decided to try it out - the reviews were also good and I usually only have a trim so I tend to be braver with new salons! My first visit was decent. I enjoyed the experience, the salon was nice and tea and snacks were served. I had a cut and blow dry and the blow dry was fabulous - the cut, however, was lopsided, as I noticed a few days later when my hair was washed and straight again. My second visit, a few months later, was much less pleasing. I was the last customer of the day, a walk in, in an empty salon. My hairdresser was nice enough but the service was not great. I only got a wash and cut this time as I didn't need a blow dry. The hairdresser spent some time telling me that my hair was 'too long' (it was just above waist length, and it sounded like she was just kind of complaining) and after washing it, my hair was dried using some paper-towel like material that left my hair still really wet. Afterwards the hairdresser continued saying my hair was too long and asked me to sit on the hairdresser's stool rather than the usual hairdressing chair - the hairdressing chair is usually height adjustable so this confused me, but I complied. I was left sitting stiff and upright on the stool while the hairdresser trimmed my very wet hair - as if she could only cut a straight line if my hair was plastered down. After trimming it to the length of my choosing, the hairdresser then confirmed I only wanted a wash and cut - and then told me I was finished. My hair was still wet, barely short of dripping at this point. I would have understood leaving it if my hair had been properly towel-dried after washing at least, but considering how wet it still was I'd expected the hairstylist to at least give me a rough dry using the blowdryer (no brushing or blow-out, but a rough dry). However at this point I was quite disappointed with the overall experience and decided to just pay and leave. Ultimately the second experience really diminished my opinion of the salon - I feel that a hairstyling appointment at a nice salon is usually a treat and a chance to relax and be pampered, which was not the experience I had. If I ever return, I will be asking for a different hairstylist.

The best hair salon ever ! Kelly and her team have created a fabulous place . A warm generous welcome, delightful quirky decor and a relaxed environment await . Nothing is too much trouble . The hair cut is second to none ...so much so , having moved from London some time ago ,I still travel back for Kelly to cut my hair. Go here !

I've always been afraid to get my hair cut professionally because i never end up liking it but honestly this is the first time ive actually liked my haircut (done by lauren) she did exactly how i wanted. Layered hair but keep the longest length as how my hair was already. Most hairdressers cut way more than you wanted. This is will be my hair salon from now on x

I have been going to have my hair done with these girls for over 3 years now and each and every time I walk out of the salon I have exactly what I went in for - and at a cost which doesnt break the bank!!! It doesnt seem to matter who does my hair, all are equally skilled, attentive and keen to get their brief right. My hair used to be "bleach it till it breaks", but now its "age gracefully with long, healthy, luxurious locks. I have never had my hair this long and still so healthy EVER! And thats a very long time. Once you try them, you will be hooked. And the interior of this salon isnt bad either! Interesting to look at and quirky and individual, Like You!!!

I love this place. Having my hair done here on a regular basis and never once had any regrets. Friendly and very proper trained hairdressers are working here 7 days a week. Appointments are no problem because of the long opening hours. Easy to get to by train or bus. Just 3 min walk from Streatham Station. I definitely would recommend Shout Hair.

I had a wonderful day at Shout recently, when I got a metallic grey beleyage done by the lovely Olivia. My hair had been bleached 8 months prev and looked totally ragged (almost stripey looking with my natural dark brown hair) but after 5 hours of love and attention it’s back to it’s shiny silvery-self. 5 hours may seem long, but Olivia was attentive the whole time- letting me know what was happening, offering me drinks, and even offered to pop to the M&S next door to get me something to eat! I loved chatting with her, the vibe of the salon is unpretentious, comfortable and friendly. A sure Streatham landmark.
