A. L.Great place, great hair stylist. Not cheap- but unlike at other similarly priced places, Tokito listens and can deal w all kinds of hair. Gave me a great cut that requires really no maintenance.

His work is impeccable and for someone who struggles with flat non voluminous hair without blow drying, he added amazing volume and the style falls really well even without spending precious minutes with a brush and a blow dryer. His attention to detail is amazing.

Once I had my haircut when the power went and he had to do everything without a hair dryer or any proper tool to style, but the outcome was still excellent. That’s when you know your hair was properly styled and cut, rather than just the cosmetic look using hair dryer or straightener (you know the one that can look horrible after one wash)

Update: it's been two years since my first review above. I've kept going to Hiro and am very happy every time. He recently moved a couple doors down from his previous location and the new salon is very modern and inviting. Most importantly, he continues to get it right every time. I have thick, wiry Asian hair and always struggle to find someone who knows how to layer it properly so that it looks good with minimal effort. Hiro is a master with scissors and I plan to keep going to his salon!
P. C.I went from long hair to short hair, was a little nervous. But Hiro was calm, he listened to what I wanted, gave his suggestions but let me make the final choice.
He was very gentle and the whole process while streamlined seemed to flow very naturally.
It was the first time for me where the salon as an establishment didn’t try and push any product or even force me to join a programme or book something for the future.
I would definitely recommend him to anyone who wanted a cut/ colour without the pain or paraphernalia that is usually attached to a salon.
