M. L.I went there to have my haircut and highlights. The overall experience was outstanding. The staff is professional and attentive, and the salon is cosy and super clean. It's a bit pricey compared to other salons but the I'm.so happy with the result. Will definitely go back!
H. B.I went to South Woodford T&G to get my hair colour and hair cut done for first time after satisfactory service at Romford T&G. Must say the service and professionalism at South Woodford T&G is exceptional. Right from start to end the staff took care of my service like a pro and made sure I was comfortable throughput the sessions.
Lou was extremely professional yet friendly and was so open about what and how should I take care of my hair. She did fantastic job with my colour and hair cut which was just exactly what I was looking for!
Top of it the cappuccino coffee was just what I needed after I had 35mins to let the colour on :)

The Staff were very friendly and welcoming, the Salon was spotless and I could see that there was lots of cleaning going on between clients. I explained what style I wanted and the Stylist listened . I was delighted with the result and would definitely recommend this Branch of Toni and Guy

This salon unfortunately doesn’t have WiFi for their clients which absolutely shocked me. I have been going to different hair salons all around the world for years and never once have I been to one with no WiFi available.. it’s very inconvenient as sitting with a head of highlights goes on for hours so you would expect some sort of WiFi available. I normally work on my laptop while I get my highlights done and I wasn’t able to do anything of the such stuff Toni and Guy as they don’t have the internet facilities.

T. F.Friendly hair salon with excellent customer service .Louise is fantastic and takes great care when colouring my hair and nothing is too much trouble. The manager Joanna is professional and friendly as well as being a great hair stylist. The staff take great care and time over their clients and are always very welcoming.
A. D.Although T&G generally cost a bit more than other local hairdressers I’ve used, I feel very comfortable there. Professional service, discounts for public sector workers (so I’m happy with that!), and I trust them with my hair. I particularly recommend Louise who has been cutting and dying my hair this year. She’s lovely to chat to if you want to chat and does a brilliant job. I wish they had a tip jar at the front counter!

R. M.I had my hair cut by Lou and no word of a lie this was probably the best haircut I have ever received. The attention to detail was fantastic, I left that salon without a hair out of place. I don't think I truly appreciated the artistry of it all untill this appointment with Lou. To top it all off she was very friendly and very welcoming, as was everyone in the shop. Overall, five star service, five star experience and I won't go anywhere else now.

L. P.Quality of haircut was faultless. My stylist actually listened and understood what i wanted and the results were perfect. Previously i have been travelling over 50mins for a decent hair cut but now i dont need to as i will be returning to Toni and Guy!!!
J. S.A salon is only as good as your stylist and Maddie has always cut my hair to absolute perfection. I have a precision Bob cut and it is always admired. I have had anxious moments over the years with styles and do not have the easiest hair to manage with it being fine but lots of it. I no longer have to use hot brushes or straighteners which damage the hair because the cut does it all. I also discovered a brilliant product here , Label m volumising texture dry shampoo spray. Once your hair is styled spray under the roots for volume and texture , it is brilliant.
N. M.Hairdresser was rough, unapproachable and not very friendly. I had a long treatment appointment and left quite traumatized.
Update:
A nice lady from their customer services contacted me in couple of days to ask about my experience. It seems that management takes customer services very seriously.
Nevertheless, I am not sure if I will ever go back to that salon.

Parking is difficult but not impossible at George Lane. Meters are outside the salon and along the main road.
The salon offers a lot if beauty items and beauty services. The staff are nice and friendly and look after you well.
You can make your next appointment before you leave the salon and staff will send you a text message 2 days before that appointment as a reminder. I love this service as I've generally forgotten the appointment time.
As this salon is part of the Toni & Guy chain prices are more expensive than general hair salons so be aware of the cost of looking beautiful!
K. C.Today ,I had a great experience at essensuals. Maddie curled my hair ,which I loved. My hair wash involved a lovely massage and another girl fed the meter for my car! A really lovely morning came away feeling fabulous. Anita
G. S.Recently had my hair done and Madie did a wonderful job. The place is very clean and cool (AC) and they even provided something to drink!
L.The hairdressing itself is still good, but the premises have continued to deteriorate, the radio is hit and miss,the screens no longer work,the toilet has a broken wall which looks very unsafe, it feels as if the owners dont really want to keep it going which would be a shame.
L. H.Its starting to break up in the relentless sea, people have (of course)put graffiti on it, but if you want to see a relatively intact pill box before it's too late get down there before winter takes its toll! But don't get caught by the tide.
