Great gents barbers shop in Ptown AKA Prestwich, none of the expensive gents grooming malachi which is OK if that's what u like, Stans is reasonably priced and Jack knows his stuff and is quick as well so don't think your going to be ages if there's a queue. If your wondering why it's called Stans, he retired when Jack worked there and as all the locals know it is Stans the name stayed.

I have had my haircuts at Stans ever since I moved to Prestwich in 2013 and have never wanted or needed to go anywhere else. They are also excellent for children’s haircuts. Both my sons first haircuts were at Stan's and they are extremely patient and considerate towards the often screaming child. The racing car highchair is great. Reasonably priced as well.

Stan's is my regular barbers in Prestwich but this is the first time I had visited post Covid. An excellent experience and the lads have put everything in place to make it as safe and secure as possible from mandotry mask wearing to temperature checks and social distancing. Definitely one of the best around, will be visiting again soon.

This is my usual barber, it's has no pretensions, you get a good haircut from a skilled and friendly barber for a reasonable price. They also do shaves and are brave enough to tackle my unruly ear hair so they're alright with me.

These guys a machines! 15minutes maximum and they'll get your hair done to a great quality, and a reasonable price!! Mad! the haircut near them take 30mins-1 hour! stans the best. Busy day at stans? don't be afraid to sit and wait, the waiting line will disapear before you know it!
