I had an excellent experience at Bonton hair salon by Razia and her team with the japanese permanent hair straightening I had. My hair has always been curly and very thick and this treatment has made my hair straight and smooth, excellent results were achieved which I was amazed of how straight it is now. Bontan is a hidden treasure on kingsway....after being welcomed razia spoke to me at length about the health of my hair and what I was looking to achieve ...I was very nervous as my hair is not in good condition ....I was made to feel comfortable about the treatment and the ladies were very welcoming and professional....after coloring my hair it was cut and blow dried. I'm so happy I found this salon as my hair has never looked so good. Razia reassured me that she would work with me to get the best outcome ....I will definitely be using this salon again .....

Amazing job on Japanese straightening. It's been almost a year since I got the treatment and couldn't be happier. Now have about 15 cm of hair grown out so need to repeat the procedure, but the lower part of hair is still flawlessly straight. I wish I knew about this hair treatment a long time ago.

Had the Japanese hair straightening done here, was fitted in for an appointment just 2 days after I called so very quick. Was a relatively fast process, and the staff were very informative. Very pleased with the results, after washing it it slightly less straight than it was when I left the salon but it gives a more natural look! The entire process cost me £240 :) Note: only cash is accepted here, though there is an ATM nearby.

I did the yuko japanese permanent straightening here, and fell in love with the people and treatment. My hair was looking quite bad and is quite damaged, so I didnt even recognize it in the end. The best straightening treatment is in Bonton Hair & Beauty Salon. Yuko treatment is really amazing in your highly professional hands, they did a very good job, I am completely happy. My hair is curly, but Latin curly and the result is a smooth, soft, shiny hair. A month ago they applied it to me and I'm still in love with the results. Wow... All round wonderful experience - especially after 2x bad experiences in Manchester city centre with Hair Straightening. I went in for a Yukon hair straightening treatment. I have been looking for a place all over Manchester that could do it and found Bonton on google and after reading the reviews booked an appointment. The positive reviews were no lie. Razia was welcoming and gave me a great treatment for which I am very happy with. I have very frizzy hair which is very difficult to manage and for some reason most straightening techniques do not work. I was very happy to see the results and my hair is now silky and a lot more manageable. And I am writing this review almost 4 weeks after the treatment because I was dubious whether it would stick and happy to say that after numerous washes it is still the same as it was on the first day of the treatment. I am definitely going back for reapplication when it’s next needed.

I’m so happy with the results of the Yuko hair Straightening. I’ve had permanent hair straightening once before years ago at a different salon but they no longer do it so I looked around for somewhere else that offered this service. I was apprehensive to go to a salon I was unfamiliar with for an expensive service which has potential to go very wrong and badly damage hair if not done professionally. I had no reason to be worried. I was made to feel very welcome from the moment I stepped into the salon. Razia worked so hard to make sure the outcome would be great and it was. Very happy with my experience. I went for the Yuko Japanese Hair Straightening after doing much research as I was originally going to do the Keratin Treatment but found out that Yuko was much better and less damaging for the hair. I looked for salons all over Manchester but Bonton was the only one worth going to after looking at everyone’s reviews! I’m glad I chose it in the end. Razia and her team are very friendly and professional and she really proud of her work. I called back after I noticed my hair looking less straight and Razia was more than happy to have me in again to examine it and discuss it. She blow-dryed my hair without a brush and it was straight. She then explained why my hair could go wavy if I don’t follow the appropriate care instructions ( as I wear a hijab so I put my hair up - she explained the hair needs to be fully cooled down after blow drying before touching it and not to bend it too much. Also when washing the hair to keep the hair down (no scrunching!) and same when brushing and drying!) Anyway. I’m pleased and will treat my hair with more care from now on to get longer lasting results!

Bonton salon provides excellent service and use quality products. My hair has always felt in great condition after coming here and I consistently receive compliments on my hair colour. The blow dries last for multiple days which is great. Razia holds a lot of experience in the field of hair and that is evident when she gives advice. I feel at Bonton, they care about your overall hair health in the long term. I have come to this salon a few times for colour correction after my hair being ruined by other colourists who charge double the price. I would not trust anyone else now with hair. I can be assured that I will receive the best treatment at Bonton for my needs at the time.

I find it really weird when I see bad reviews left for this place. I've been getting Yuko straightening treatment here for years and they are so professional, friendly and know what they're doing. If reviewers are complaining of dry hair post treatment, your hair is getting CHEMICALLY STRAIGHTENED! Of course you're naturally going to experience some form of dryness but that does not reflect on the expertise of the Bonton team, and they will advise you on post care for your beautifully transformed hair. Rest assured the incredibly talented Razia and her hero team are perfectionists and are thrilled when their customers are happy and want them to be so. The amount of cowboy hair salons i've been to in the past make me completely aware what good quality is, and honestly you can't get better than Bonton. My hair is extremely difficult to manage and every other hairdresser ive been to has either damaged, burnt or ruined my hair. One dresser at Tip Top almost left me bald! I cannot recommend this place more. Razia has a good friendly team around her, and she has the incredible skills all other hairdressers would envy. She transformed my hair in a way I would never imagine possible. The salon is hygienic and clean and they are all very warm and welcoming. I'm always offered refreshments and food when I'm having a lengthy treatment done. If you're not 100% satisfied they won't let you leave until you are happy and that's why I've stuck to this place. The hairdressing skills are of such a high standard you would not feel ripped off, if anything they charge reasonable prices for what you get. If you're looking for wonderful perfectionists, that wants her clients to be happy with the job and looks for customer satisfaction then this the place to go. A HUGE thank you to Bonton.

My friend and I used this salon for the first time as we were in the area to attend a party and needed our hair washed and blown. Upon arrival all the ladies greeted us with a warm friendly smile and kindly offered us a choice of hot and cold beverage. I have long dark wavy hair and my friend has mid length blonde curly hair so both not the easiest to style. We were thrilled with the finish of our hair, nice and bouncy and beautiful. We highly recommend this place to others and look forward to returning should we find ourselves in the area again.

I can't recommend this salon enough! Razia did an excellent job doing the Japanese hair straightening. While visiting Manchester I was desperately looking for a place to do the thermal reconditioning. I read about Bonton Salon and thought of giving it a try. Razia takes her time and listens carefully to what end results you are looking for. She is excellent with hair treatment. Usually I would blowdry hair, which would take about an hour each time I do it. Now, it takes me about one minute to do my hair in the morning , which is great. It's now straight and shiny and very easy to manage. Also, her team members are very nice and professional, all three of them. I really enjoyed spending the day with them ☺ I highly recommend Bonton Salon. I'm very happy I went there.

I went in with patchy hair today, wanting a new look. Razia is the most loveliest of ladies she worked so hard to get my hair to the standard I wanted, after my hair reacting very badly to the colour put on because of a bleach used from a previous salon, she handled the situation very well, she put foils in 3 times to achieve the look I wanted, I could see she is a very talented lady, she knew exactly what to do & reassured me the whole time that she can do it & she did! Travelled quite a distance for a Yuko treatment. From the moment I stepped in Bonton’s lovely ladies were very welcoming and hospitable, making my long treatment so comfortable.
