I have my blonde hair done by Ciara and occasionally toned by Kyra and they are absolutely brilliant. All the staff is so kind and professional as well I always feel very welcome and like at home.
My hair always gets loads of compliments and I always feel like so confident when I step out of this salon and they have completely cured my fear of going to the hairdressers as they always listen to what I want with the colour and length when I get it cut etc! 👌
H. L. M.I don’t usually leave reviews but every time I visit House of Finesse Urmston I leave SO happy with the results! Such a lovely environment, everyone is so friendly and customer service is second to none. All the girls are so talented and genuinely care about doing the best for your hair. I visited the salon today and had my hair done by Ciera and I am totally obsessed with the colour!! Even got a free curl afterwards by one of the apprentices Jodie. Both girls were lovely and it was all round a great experience. Also, for anyone who may be cautious because of Covid, I can assure you all measures were put in place. Thank you HOF, always know I can trust you with my hair!

The salon was really easy to find and close to the train station.
Hayley was 1st to welcome me into the salon, she's fabulous really makes you feel at ease and has a little chat while your waiting, offered me a drink etc Kyra was fantastic too, listened to what I wanted doing, offered advice and done a brilliant job cutting my hair. Holly who washed my hair gave the best head massage it was a great experience for my 1st visit & I definitely will be returning. Thank you HOF girls x

Not only did I get a last minuet appoint but I came in with damaged bleached hair and a dark root, I didn't really know what to do with it as I wanted to start getting it into good condition for my wedding !, Nikki advised me to stay away from bleach for a bit do a bit of a colour correction and to put a toner and a root blend to get rid of he harsh root. This instantly made me feel so much better that she knew exactly what she was doing and she was right ! my hair looks and feels amazing after a big chop! I will be going back to Nikki so she can continue to work her magic until my wedding!
J. J. -. F.I have been going to Kelly for my nails for the past year now, maybe even longer and I could not recommend her enough. It took me a long while to find a nail artist who could do a variety of designs and I’m so glad she appeared on my Instagram when she did. She made me feel so comfortable on my first appointment to the point where it felt like we’d been friends for years. She is very professional and a genuinely lovely individual, your nail appointments will not just be for nails, it will be for a catch up too! Her work is amazing and the attention to detail is nothing but brilliant.
I would highly recommend having your nails done by Kelly, she’s fabulous!

R. W.Lauren Watts always does a fabulous job of my hair. She's got it in the best condition it's ever been in after years of box dyes as a teenager. Her advice is always spot on. I wouldn't trust anyone with my hair!
C. M. E.Literally the best hairdressers ever! Would recommend to anyone. Me and my 3 year old daughter both went for a wash, cut and blow dry we felt very comfortable from start to finish. The staff are super friendly but professional, very good use of PPE all had masks on and there is hand sanitiser on most tables all round the salon. All staff are very friendly but professional but a special mention for a few of the staff, Holly with her amazing head massage when conditioning both mine and my daughters hair and Elle for her very skilful and amazing hairdressing. Elle was very patient and professional but friendly with my daughter and give her the most beautiful blow dry and she also cut my hair to perfection literally couldn’t thank her enough. Hayley who was on reception was very polite and friendly but very professional. Would recommend to anyone all ages and styles of hair.

R. J.I have been a few times to this salon and while the service has previously been ok the price seems to fluctuate each and every time even though I the treatments were the same
Recently I attended an appointment for a full head colour, which did not go as planned. Over blonde highlights the colour should have been a light brown -however a dark brown (that nearly looked black) was what I ended up with. This ruined my weekend and my confidence for the weekend and work.
I called the salon up and they agreed to try and rectify the issue (free of cost). They bleached bath my hair and while they tried, the dark colour could only be lifted slightly (still being two-three shades darker than I wanted and had asked for in the previous appointment). The hairdresser did explain that it will lighten in a few washes and in a few months highlights can be added to lighten the hair again. This is fine, but not ideal and not what I wanted.
I do however feel like I have not got the desired look I went in for and now a long and expensive journey begins to lighten my hair that has been coloured incorrectly. The staff made me feel like I was to blame as according to them 'any colour will go dark over blonde and It will come as a shock' , they also said that they didn't realise how much the colour would stick and so dark'.
I am grateful for the salon trying to rectify the issue made, but I wont be returning to this salon for any future treatments as overall the finished result is not what I wanted.
L. G.One of the friendliest salons I’ve ever been too. Won’t go anywhere else now. Nikki figs and refits my extensions, and they’re brilliant. I always come just for wash and blows, and the curls always last.

A. F.I'm so happy with my full head of highlights by Kyra at HOF Urmston. I commuted from Huddersfield due to my usual hair dresser being unavailable and now I'm sticking with Kyra for good! I couldn't recommend the salon more, it so worth the hour drive and I've already booked my next appointment. I live in Altrincham and when Ciara moved to the Urmston salon I decided to extend my journey as didn’t want to change hairdressers! I’ve never really enjoyed going to the hairdressers in the past as I always have a slight dread of what it will look like after and find them intimidating but every time I walk into House of Finesse every member of the team is really friendly and I just feel it is a really welcoming environment. Ciara is personable but also extremely professional and considering how trying the last year has been she is really positive on every occasion! Back to the hair I leave loving it every time and when I was going through a really hard time Ciara made me love myself again! Would 100% recommend!

Made me feel really comfortable at a time when I needed it. Previously had a colour by Kirsty and it’s lasted so long with barely visable root growth.

She is by far the best around and lives up to her amazing reputation!
p.Been in a few times to the Urmston salon, had the most amazing curly blow by Hannah, she gave me a real head massage whilst washing my hair! The curly blow stayed in for 2 days until I washed my hair! All of the girls are really nice and very welcoming when I was in the salon. Would 100% recommend this salon and will never go anywhere else now!

My stylist was Ciara Williams and she was so welcoming, helpful and listened to exactly what I wanted. My original hair appointment somewhere else was cancelled on Saturday morning and HOF were able to fit me in as a last min appointment the same day. I had a full restyle and colour and I absolutely love it! Highly recommended!

Sadly I wasn't very happy with my cut - I must hasten to add I didn't complain or ask for my hairstyle to be tweaked so I blame myself! I went back a couple of weeks ago, as I had a last-minute interview later that day. Oh my goodness. The change in the place was astonishing. The staff were happy and friendly and the lady who styled my hair just happened to be an expert in short hairstyles. By the end of my appointment we had 4 stylists stood around watching how the young lady was cutting my hair. I felt very special haha! It's such bigger salon and Hollie worked her usual magic on my locks. They often do special offers, so check out their socials. You can park in the car park at the end of Atkinson Street for £1 all day. If you're looking for an expert in colour correction, a dramatic change and prefer a friendly, down to earth atmosphere then this salon is for you!
