If you're looking for precision, attention to detail, friendly and supportive people, just book once and you'll become a regular. Always clean, professional, kind and helpful. Been going there for the past four years, never had an 'OK' experience. Every time was excellent and left with a smile on my face. Have been booking with Rachel only, but from the time spent there all staff look like they really know their stuff! Truly and highly recommended.

I’ve been to ManKind 5+ times since I moved to Manchester last august and have always been really impressed with the kindness and professionalism of their staff. I’ve had my hair cut by Kieran and Craig in the past and can’t fault either of them. It’s always such a friendly atmosphere there and I’m so glad to have found a barber to go back to. I’ve been going to Mankind for 4 years now. The staff are all extremely lovely and professional, they really listen to what you’re asking for and deliver every time. I’ve been so lucky to have such an amazing barber for my time in Manchester, sadly leaving now but anytime I’m in the north west, I will definitely be back for a haircut!

Decent barber. Had appointment with Dan and he cut my hair with precision and took his time making adjustments. Update: Had appointment with Craig and he cut my hair and trimmed my beard so well; one of the nicest haircuts I’ve ever had. He listened and understood and cut my hair specific to my head and even showed me how to maintain my beard properly. Definitely recommend Craig.

I went for the first time today. Craig was brilliant, despite me being 15 minutes late (because of trouble with satnav). He cut hair brilliantly, I will definitely be returning as a regular customer. He has good professional judgement and is meticulous. There was also a friendly vibe in the shop.

Best barbers I've ever been to, and trust me, I am the fussiest man alive when it comes to haircuts! Rachel and the team are amazing; they are perfectly skilled and knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly, providing an all round service. They also go above and beyond providing hairdressing advice and tips. Their prices are very reasonable for the haircut services that they provide, but especially given their exceptional customer service. Also good to mention that they have an online booking system which is incredibly easy and straightforward to use, so you can always book a cut at your convenience.

Since going the first time I have been a regular customer and really enjoy the effort put in, care taken, attention to detail, attention to what I want and the final product. Service is friendly and always very welcoming. I used to have my hair and beard cut by Nathaniel. I can't remember the exact date or time but it would have been a good few months ago and I would have submitted the review sometime after (likely from being promoted by Google to leave one, hence the multiple reviews on one day).

Given the new challenges of COVID this place has it figured out, watching them do what it takes to keep everyone safe was impressive, cleaning down before and after clients. Great Barbers.....I've lived in Manchester for four years now and have really struggled to find somewhere that delivers a good cut for a good price until I found Mankind Male Grooming Barbers and Mens Hairdressing. I Strongly recommend checking this place out! Also, you can book an appointment on their website and saves any possibility of waiting around. I booked on with Dan for first thing in the morning and he was their bang on time and gave me possibly the best hair cut I've ever had (have to wait to see what my girl friend says before I say it's my best cut). Brilliant barber shop. Staff are very pleasant and professional, welcoming atmosphere and a level of attention to detail and the customer's needs, however specific, which I've seldom if ever experienced with a cut before. Dan took his time to make sure I got exactly the length and style I wanted, adjusting and checking as he went to make sure it was as I wanted, while also explaining how and what he was doing. Couldn't have asked for better. Very well priced, a large variety of options to choose from depending on what you're looking for. Would recommend them over many of the overpriced, overhyped and overgimmicked hipstery city centre barbers 💈

I've been a regular since moving back to Manchester last July. Rachel does a fantastic job every time. I cannot fault her. Good conversation, comfy chairs, nice up to date magazines if you have to wait. Appointments in the week but they do walk ins on a Saturday. They do a loyalty card too, so you get discounts on every 3rd and 6th cut. They also do beard trims and cut throat shaves !

Not a bad haircut although not what I asked for. I asked for a low no.1 on the back and sides (top of ears) and a bit of length off the top, but he took the clippers very high up on the back and sides of my head. Doesn’t look bad but really not what I asked For, won’t be returning
