Wow, what a fantastic experience with Mike today. Booked in, arrived and was seated in a very timely manner, and was made to feel at ease with the whole process despite not having a haircut for a LONG time, so both hair and beard was a little... Wild, shall we say. Have Mike some ideas of what I wanted and asked him for his advice and gave him free reign to give me a style. What a fantastic guy. Easy to chat to, very professional and you can tell he genuinely cares about his craft and was not fazed by the challenge at all. Step by step explanation of what he was doing, checking I was happy with each stage as we moved through the cut, advising as to why he was cutting in a certain way to show how each step complimented the next. Lots of suggestions for product and aftercare, how to maintain the look and how to style to compliment my face. I booked in for 'The Works' and definitely feel I got it all. Fantastic experience from start to finish, I usually visit 'In and Out' barbers, but Mike's work and care really shows the difference between them. Sure, you might be paying a bit more, but the quality and value for what you get is just night and day. Mike really made me feel valued and looked after, he is an absolute superstar and an asset to the establishment. 100% would recommend you give Mike the chance to show off his work on you, a genuine, caring fellow who didn't rush me through and took on board everything I suggested and showed me how best to find my style. Thank you so much for your work today, I would definitely recommend you give Mike and Mr Beardmores a try!

I have not been to a barbershop for 20 plus years, however I decided to pamper my self, and having started growing a beard a couple of months ago and not wanting to butcher it myself. I decided to go to Mr Beardmores as the reviews they have are the best I could find locally. I booked in with Mike, and he was so pleasant and easy going, he put me at ease from the outset and explained everything he was doing and explained the look I could get from my beard. He has done an excellent job and I have already booked him again for next month. I would recommend these guys all day long they are absolutely amazing.

It had been a while since I've gotten my hair professional cut, but I was blown away by this place! Not only are they fantastic barbers, they are super friendly and will make an effort to make you feel welcome. Mike went all out and took his time, gave me one of the best trims that I have gotten in years, slowly walked me through the whole process and made sure I was comfortable with everything, really friendly guy, would definitely recommend coming to this shop if you haven't already! Having had a few issues with other barbers when getting a beard trim, I went here as I had heard good things about the place. Can’t say I’ve ever come out of the barbers feeling particularly great about my trim! That is until I came and saw Mike on a recommendation from a mate! My first time at Mr Beardmores in Manchester, it was recommended to me by a colleague who spoke highly of Alex. I'm not the most knowledgeable when it comes down to a good haircut and I'm not great at communicating what I like across to the barber, sort of just leave them to it which often ends with a dead trim. But I went into this place and was greeted warmly by Alex, I told him in few words what I looked for and he knew instantly what I wanted, it wasn't rushed, he took his time and made sure I was happy with the look the whole way through the cut, very talented guy and the best haircut I've had, hands down, 100% recommend this place and using Alex, I'll be back again definitely. Couldn't be happier with the trim, worth every penny.

Very good experience. My barber was Sam and I am very happy with my haircut. I feel he tailored the haircut to my face shape, because the taper is just right highlighting my face nicely (too aggressive/high tapers make my face look odd)

I arrived a little early and all seemed fine when I sat down and began my haircut, but suddenly a member of the team very loudly confirmed that they had a positive PCR test (apparently it was actually negative but the team were unsure what to do). A guy, who was already cutting my hair became very nervous (understandably). My haircut was awful and uneven, as was my beard. I came home and had to fix it myself, rendering the £44 I’d spent absolutely useless. I should’ve perhaps said something there and then, but they were clearly angry about their colleague. The team seemed nice enough and the owner, Chad has since reached out, offered a refund and a voucher to go back again. I’m very much willing to give the benefit of the doubt and put this down to just a series of unfortunate events.

I had my first haircut in 15 months with Athena at Mr Beardmore. Thought I'd treat myself to a proper cut since I'd grown my hair long, and I have to say this place does not disappoint. Athena was really friendly, chatty and informative about how I could care for my hair and keep it looking good, with great insight on how to manage it myself as it grows. I went for The Works, a full treatment for my hair and beard, with a wash at the start. The appointment flew by, and nothing was too much for Athena, as I admitted that I'd had a go at an undercut a few months earlier at the back of my head which she sorted and shaped perfectly new. I walked in looking like Sideshow Bob from the Simpsons, so much so that I actually had to double take when I saw myself in the mirror when I went in, but on the way out I felt amazing! I love the new cut, it feels light and curly and I know where to go when the hair needs taming again. Plus, there was an adorable dog who was just basking in the heat of the day! What's not to love?

I managed to get a walk in appointment with Alex, he was absolutely great after getting a terrible haircut at afflecks 40 mins beforehand and my hair being butchered he did the best he could and i am so grateful. Now all i have to do is let it grow out evenly now and ill be fine. I will definitely be coming back for Alex to keep on top of it. £30 felt a bit steep for a cut but then again i have not been to a barbers for 3 years, I honestly wish i spent the extra £8 and came here first instead of afflecks!

What a great place. Ok so it's getting a bit of a refurb downstairs and could look better but it'll look great once done. I had "The Works", haircut, beard trim and styling, wet shave and it was bloody brilliant. The fella doing this, Paul, was very professional and did exactly what I asked for and I left very happy. I'll definitely be back and will ask for Paul again. The other guys getting haircuts all seemed very happy with what had been done and all the stylists where friendly and approachable. I didn't get a coffee though...... Need to sort that out next time I'm there.

These guys are superb. Chad is their best barber and is a real artist. They are reasonably priced for the work they do because it’s not a ten minute short back and sides. Pictured the shop very differently in my mind before i went, when i got there it was clean and all the lads were very welcoming. At first i was uncertain about the price for a beard trim, but then Jake ended up spending over an hour detailing and shaping my beard to give me a perfect look to go with my fresh fade. My man Gareth! What can I say? Absolute legend. Walked in there and he took his time with me even though he had a date later on. He used scissors on my hair the whole way! Proper attention to detail. The quality of barbering here is spot on, great website with easy online booking to book a choice of barbering services with anyones preferred choice of barber here. I highley recommend Vincent Quinn, he's an awesome barber did a great job of my haircut and give me the best beard trim I have ever had here in the Manchester area. Like an idiot i went in for my appointment a week early. Sat there for an hour ..doh . Even though they were ready to close and i got it wrong they still sorted my beard out. I had let my beard grow for 8 months after the last trim i had at a previous shop had caused me to cut a years worth of growth. Understandably i was nervous, i didn't need to be . I came at a very quiet time, just after Xmas day’ Paul was both friendly and understanding. My hair was a disaster but he gave me a cut that I have not stopped getting compliments for. Downstairs is horrible, very, claustrophobic and a bit of a naughty step. Didn’t like the music or the atmosphere, upstairs was so quiet and would of preferred out there. The drink never came’ but, to be honest, I was more worried about my hair. I’m happy.

Went in this place today for a cut and must the cut was spot on , showed him a picture and the lad nailed it perfectly. If your wanting a 10 minute service in and out then this isn't the place for the you. They take there time and the attention to detail from this guy was amazing, people don't realise that the blending in properly is hardest part and takes time and skill to do properly , I know this based on poor cuts at other places. I had Ben who was great listened to exactly what I wanted after showing the picture explaining the blend I was after, even making suggestions to me what I'd suit based on the style presented in the picture. Top class barber and overall nice guy too. All the guys are good in here to be honest but will be more than happy to book Ben again.

After my first visit today I can honestly say I'm really impressed. Yes I can go to the local Turkish barbers and pay £8 but I'll end up with half a beard and an ok haircut. Today wasn't cheap (£35) HOWEVER I did spend an hour in the chair and have come out with a properly decent hair cut and beard trim with hot towel treatment *the works* oil and trim and I still have a full beard. I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for" For the service I got (including comp drinks, great atmosphere, good laughs and decent cuts) you cannot go wrong. I will be back!!

Mr. Beardmores has staff that caters to what you want and creates a friendly and relaxed atmosphere as the magic happens. If you're early, their waiting area has boardgames to past time and also the mini SNES console! Want a coffee whilst your hair is cut? No problem! Their bar has a range of beverages. I booked for a £26 'above average' haircut with a wash at the end, left totally satisfied. Highly recommend.

After a few bad beard trim experiences elsewhere I'd hesitated about getting it trimmed and had let it get wild rather than it being ruined (and having to cut it back).. I'm chuffed with the finished result. Ben did an excellent job and did exactly what I wanted and chuffed to bits with the result, meaning it can continue to grow with some shape and looking sharp. When I sat down I got a good advice about what way I should have my hair (as I'm growing it out) by Jake, no honestly is one of the nicest guys I've met and possible the best beard trim I've had since.. ever really! Sadly I'm from Ireland and can't go every week or two but I'm going to be back in may and will be heading back as soon as I land in Manchester again. Personally I’ve only had cuts from the shops resident Mackem Phil, but the work I’ve seen from other staff has all looked great, with the lad next to me getting a cut so good it made his patient girlfriend blush! I can honestly recommend Phil though, he takes pride in putting his name to your head, which you realise as you see the mantra of “your only as good as your last haircut” on the wall behind him in your mirrored view. He’ll even whip up a cocktail of products to give you that finishing touch. You “winnet” be disappointed

Seen enough barbers at work to know a pro when I see one. Only been here once yet and it was a better cut then any flanagans, macclures, close or barber barber I've been to. The only hairdressers that's on par with it is rubber soul, which btw is also slightly cheaper (£23 vs £26), though they have different hair cutting styles. I also preferred the atmosphere at rubber soul but Mr beardmore has more of a modern vibe.

Started to visit Mr Beardmore not too long ago. Always go to see Ben Dutton. I think this is the first time in my life where my hair actually looks 🔥🔥🔥. I have always found it incredibly hard to manage my hair yet at Mr Beardmore I always leave looking sharp and it’s lasts unlike alot of other places I’ve tried in Manchester.
