Absolutely amazing service !! It was mine and my partner’s anniversary and I needed to get a blow dry (I have Afro curly hair). The team took care of me and my mane and got me ready in time. I can’t thank them enough. Absolutely 5 star treatment

I have always had very short hair and Emma cut it beautifully. However with lockdown hair had obviously grown. I had no idea what I wanted with my hair Emma gave me a curly bob as she said it would suit my now very curly hair. I felt absolutely fabulous after my cut wonderful cut. Highly recommend

Each client is treated as special individual by every member of the team whatever their wish or need. Nothing too much trouble and one can always trust advice and suggestions are in best interest of individual's hair. The young lady washing my hair gave an expert and relaxing head massage and professional lovely hair cut by Rupert. All the team show an interest in every client. Wonderful Salon! I was booked in by a lovely lady on the phone who managed to fit me in last minute, and had my haircut by a fantastic woman (I think Ellie), she made me feel super comfortable and checked to make sure I was happy with everything she was doing. I went for a perm consultation with megan she listened to what I was aiming for, she did a hair test to check if my hair was strong enough to take a perm, unfortunately my hair is too week but I really appreciated the call to let me know and was offered an alternative treatment, some other salons would have just done the perm. 10/10 for the professionalism. I will be returning for my treatment 100% trust Rupert Hayes.

Genuinely one of the best hairdressing experiences for me in Manchester. As soon as I entered the door I was welcomed by Sallie at the reception who was extremely friendly and considerate. After waiting about 5 minutes the senior stylist, Emma, greeted me and was very kind - asking me what I wanted for my haircut as well as giving any recommendations I asked. She seemed very professional and I love my new hair. All in all, a very positive experience. Thank you Sallie and Emma at Rupert Hayes! I will definitely be returning here :)

Had my first cut at Rupert Hayes this morning, very happy with the the result! My stylist was exceptional in understanding what I wanted, and ensured we were on the same page regarding the desired length and direction of my hair, and also corrected my previous stylists error in cutting my crown to the right direction, which now looks and feels better, whilst giving me the exact cut I wanted :)

Had my first experience with Rupert Hayes today, at their temporary home in John Dalton Street. As I usually avoid having my hair cut, until absolutely necessary, I was rather trepidatious of the experience. I needn't have worried. Rupert and his team put me at ease as soon as I arrived and held my hand — in the metaphorical sense — as I presented a string of unsuitable hairstyles for my hair type. Listening to my concerns and offering advice, a style was finally agreed upon, but Rupert stopped at each stage to ensure I was happy with the progress and whether any changes needed to be made before continuing. Needless to say, the outcome was more than satisfactory and I have a shiny, trendier new hair style as a result. Can't wait to return to their new salon and choose some colours to further brighten the mop.

I dropped in on the off chance I could get my haircut. I was over from Wakefield with my husband who was having eye surgery so needed to pass time. I had a regular hairdresser for 16 years. She retired and I've not been totally happy with my haircuts since. It's stressful finding a new hairdresser but my hair needed cutting so I called in. It was a lovely friendly atmosphere. Rupert cut my hair. He certainly has a unique approach both in manner and style of cutting but he got me totally. I loved my cut and finish and have found it so easy to manage myself. I'm seriously considering crossing the Pennines every 5 weeks for my hair cutting. Thank you Rupert and team.

Senior stylist Emma did an absolutely brilliant job. Very friendly place, by far the best experience I've had in Manchester. Cut with a style. They listen, they talk and they let you make decisions and you end up with a good result. Highly recommend if you need a drastic cut or change or are looking for something special. Emma was superb!! Best hairdressers ever and I am SUPER particular - Nicole cut my hair after another hairdresser at a London salon literally ruined my bleach to the point where my hair was breaking and it couldn't be brushed. I asked for a dry blunt cut and it was the straightest blunt cut I have ever had even when my hair was in good condition. Sally is always super helpful too and genuinely listens to what you want. These guys make me want to come to Manchester just to get my hair cut :)

Everything from booking over the phone (we were both also given a discount as it was our first visit!) to location of the salon to friendliness and professionalism of all the staff was perfect. From the very moment you step through the door you are treated like a VIP. The receptionist greets you with a smile that makes you feel like you've come home. My coat was taken before l was guided to my seat. Megan was the poor hairdresser saddled with the task of correcting my disaster combination or undercut and mullet, a souvenir from New Zealand. After looking over my hair and explaining the reasons it fell the way it did and where to go from here, Megan worked her scissor skills. It may sound ridiculous but to anybody that has had a bad haircut experience, you'll know how much a good haircut influences how you go about in life. The people at this salon know that, they value you as an individual and know more about hair than any salon I've been too. I can't thank you enough. Day made!
