A. R.When I first went to Scissorz I felt so welcomed by Lauren and her team, all of the staff are lovely. I’ve been to the salon over the past few years and will not let anyone else touch my hair. Initially my hair wasn’t in the best condition but now it feels so healthy and even when it’s coloured it still feels and looks super healthy.
I first had extensions as a previous hairdresser had cut my hair way more than just the trim I asked for. I went to Lauren and she went through the extensions, and I’ve never had any problems at all since having my extensions they’ve always lasted well and look amazing :).

Also fading the roots so when it grows it looks natural! L. T.Visited last week with the plan of getting a restyle from a over grown bob to a pixie cut. Took multiple photos to discuss what idea I had and to check how this would translate to my hair. The stylist was pleasant and referred back to my photos throughout the visit.
The end result was me looking like a reject from a 1990s boy band with horrendous 'curtains'.
End result was choppy, uneven layers, stray long hairs at the nape of my neck. Overall it's a total mess and I am booked into another hairdresser asap!
**** Update****
Lauren (owner) contacted me directly to apologise and offer a free cut and blow-dry and treatment. Lauren immediately put me at my ease on arrival. We were able to discuss styling options and Lauren was able to cut and style my hair exactly as I wanted.
I also got ongoing advice regarding my new style and tips for maintaining or tweaking as required.
Overall a very positive experience and I have amended my rating to reflect this development.

S. H.Had shellac gel nails done on my fingers and toes by Simone nearly 3 weeks ago and she did a great job! Only just chipping now on one finger and the rest have stayed perfectly! Simone did the whole treatment of filing, buffering, cuticles, and even a foot soak and scrub to remove dry skin on my heels. I even got a coffee half way through while my feet were soaking and Simone was lovely to chat to! Only cost £16 for everything as they honoured the price of a groupon deal they had on so great value for money! Would definitely recommend :)
d. m.Bought a groupon voucher. I did have to spend an extra £50 on top of the voucher cost but the results were worth it.
Rubi did my hair and I will definitely be going back. She was friendly & polite, with a warm personality. Plus she really is great at her job.
I don’t mind traveling 35 mins to the salon as I know they will do a good job and I’ll go away happy with what’s been done!
Please do print out your Groupon/Wowcher vouchers as they do need the hard copy as some places do..

They charged a bit more than the voucher price.
They really have mentioned the extra charge when she went in for the patch test.
Instead of telling once it was done.
A sly bit of upselling.
