I wish I could give 10 STARS! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had my appointment yesterday with RACHEL and I am over the moon with the results! Rachel really listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted and more. She was attentive, knowlegable and gentle with my over processed hair. She is very talented and exceptional at her job. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you Rachel you made me feel like a star 🌟

Visited on a Wednesday night for a haircut. Mia was my stylist and lovely. She listened to my needs and checked if I was fine with every step of the process. I really liked that. The massage was great too and much needed at the end of the day! I did have to stand for the haircut initially as my hair was almost at waist length, which was fine but I was a little tired at the time. The reception was nice and served my choice of tea. It was a pleasant experience overall.

Ive been a customer at Seckingtons since 2014 and I always enjoy my visits. The staff are all lovely - and seem very happy working there. I’m always so happy with my hair when I leave. The salon is great, with complimentary drinks and super helpful charging cables everywhere. If you haven’t tried Seckingtons - you should!

First visit today having been unable to achieve the colour I wanted at my previous salon and really pleased with the results! Sophie was great at managing my expectations when I showed her the colour I was looking to achieve and also took time to understand my hair which isn’t the easiest to work with. She kept a close eye during development time, checking every 10 minutes to ensure there wasn’t any over development and then rinsed the back foils first to achieve an even colour all over which I have never experienced before but makes perfect sense. I had a treatment applied by Rachel who gave an amazing head massage! The cut and finish by Lucianne was exactly what I asked for and my hair feels healthy and looks amazing. The whole experience was a pleasure, from the warm welcome when I arrived to the friendliness and professionalism by everyone throughout!

Personally visiting the hairdressers is comparable to most peoples visits to the dentist. Seckingtons is first of all set in a lovely quaint courtyard location and is a beautiful salon. Everyone was super welcoming and made me feel very comfortable.

Perfectionist and amazing at what she does, this was the first time here, and I have to say the staff are so friendly, Becky really understand what I wanted, I wanted a balayage with soft tones, I have never had so many compliments in one day on my hair! I have never met Evan before but after a few questions about me and what I wanted, Evan got it, and got me, and she set to work her magic. I was feeling low and lost in the repetitive mum's life, by the end, I was happy and feeling confident again. A good hair cut does that to you, especially when the hairdresser and the whole salon made you feel welcomed and at ease. I picked Evan coz her profile said she understands mums' needs and up to creating new looks for clients. That was exactly I wanted and Evan delivered. The whole salon is welcoming. All the staff are super polite and happy during the whole visit. The salon is also beautiful inside and has a very calming but warming vibe to it. Elise who did my hair was truly amazing, she sat down and talked through colour options and ideas with me as well as giving styling tips. I absolutely love my colour, cut and finish. I also had a complimentary hand massage and treated myself to a facial which were both done by the lovely trainee. Definitely felt very pampered and left feeling extremely happy. I was not the best customer to start with: 10' late and no clear idea of what I wanted. The hair stylist worked with me a cut that could emphasize the features of my face while keeping the hair short. She made clear we aggreed upon (1) precise lenght, (2) final shape of the front bangs. Considering the short time, also the styling after the cut was spot-on. Came in looking like a wild weed, went out looking like an influencer.

I was surprised that the cost was £51 - i had looked at the website before coming and Hannah is a senior stylist = £46 - her promotion was not updated on the system (January) and also I was not aware that a charge of £5 was being made for PPE - I bought my own mask and the items i wore where certainly not £5 worth. I was told in July when i booked that i would receive an email about code of conduct inside the saloon - i had to rearrange the appointment but i did not 'ever' receive said email. overall in todays norm i was disappointed - i appreciate businesses have suffered but so have most individuals and i cannot justify this expense often.

If you want a more personal experience then I wouldn't recommend this place as the salon is quite big.... Also, I didn't feel like I got exactly the haircut I wanted even though I communicated quite clearly. The staff were really friendly and the service was good. I would go back again, but I would make sure I get exactly what I want by showing photographs.
