L. W.Great salon for kids. Friendly staff.
Smaller kids can sit in cars whilst they have their hair cut and they have screens with cartoons showing.
Staff are quick to cut and patient with kids.
Only downside is parking - no dedicated parking for the salon. There are some spaces outside the parade of shops in the road but they were full when we visited and there were delivery vans also double parked, so we parked at Co-op which has a 45 minutes limit.
G. S.After reading mixed reviews on Google I was a bit anxious taking my 21mo toddler there. However, it was great. Georgia was fabulous and incredibly fast, my boy who hates his hair touched didn't fuss at all until the very end (with distraction of course). I'd definitely recommend this place.
J. F.Nothing is too much trouble, the kids love it there. The staff are so friendly with the children and the game consoles are a winner whilst having a haircut. For the younger children the sit in cars are ideal. Highly recommend.

We take him to shirt cuts every 6 weeks and have Kirsty cut his hair. Kirsty is really good with him and make us feel more at ease. Slowly but surely my son is starting to get better getting his hair cut. 100% recommended

P. C.After taking our twin boys to my local barbers it was safe to say that haircuts were bit traumatic.
Going to Shortcuts has been a revelation.
They have screens with films playing, model cars for youngsters to sit in and have their hair cut and the staff are patient and well suited to a child's behavior whilst still giving a great haircut.
We're so happy we've found this place as we can now leave the hairdressers without feeling we've just witness a hair massacre.
Also worth noting there is a loyalty scheme, the amount our boys hair will need cutting this is a great incentive to return.
N. B.We went on a Saturday afternoon. We were seen to quickly. It was friendly service and the girl really knew how to work quickly with my extremely wiggly child. Perfect hair cut for my child.

Our girls were obviously comfortable as they co-operated without a single tear which I didn't think would happen then we got a certificate with a lock of their hair attached . We will definitely be taking them back there in 12 weeks time.
